As a physician, I appreciate when my patients see a specialist and I receive prompt and detailed communication regarding the visit. I value Dr. Lascaibar professionalism as I always get prompt and detailed notes describing the encounter. Absolutely love this place! Danet at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Dr. Lascaibar took his time and explained all parts of my exam. I really love the attention I got here compared to my last place that rushed me in and out. Came back to buy some sunglasses recently and had the same experience. Price was great on a pair of ray-bans too. Definitely recommend this spot if you need an eye exam, glasses, contacts or even sunglasses.

From the moment I walked into the store the customer service and hospitality I received was incredible. Albert was extremely helpful from the exam to even helping me pick out a nice frame. Not to mention him and his wife went out of their way to personally pick up my glasses because they didn’t want me to wait another day. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I definitely see myself coming here in the future. And if you’re wanting a great all around customer service experience this is the place to go.

**In response to your reply....Unfortunately, my claims are accurate or I would not have taken my time to post them. In addition, I attempted to discuss with you in a professional manner, but I “bored you” and you made the decision to terminate my call.I have been the practice administrator for a medical practice for several years now, and have been in the medical field (ophthalmology, dermatology, and plastics) for over 30+ years. We saw a new patient for an upper lid consultation at our office and to save her time, and not repeat a test she already had done at Manatee Optometry, Dr. Albert Lascaibars office, I called them asking them to fax the results. I left a detailed message the SAME day we saw our patient including our phone and fax for them to send me the patients results. A week went by and I had not received anything. The patient called me to see if I had received the results and I told her I had not but that I would call them again. I spoke to someone by the name of Danette who told me she would be faxing them to me.Once again, another week has gone (my patient called me a second time asking about her records) by so I called today and asked for the office manager. The woman on the phone said she was the office manager and her name was Danette. Same woman who told me she would be faxing me the patients test results last week. I explained how disappointed I was that she still has not sent me what we need to save the patient time and that she was also doing a disservice to the patient. She said she had a sticky note and would be faxing what I and the patient had requested once the doctor had a chance to review the results ... I said, when did she have her test done?. She answered September. I said you mean to tell me the physician has not looked over her results and its been 4 months? She then changed her story and said she was waiting for his permission to send us the results. I once again told her the patient has been waiting as have we for over 3 weeks for them and that once again, they are doing a disservice to the patient. She stated she would fax me what we need as soon as Dr. Lascaibar gave her the okay.Low and behold, 10 minutes later, Dr. Lascaibar calls me himself. As I begin to explain to him what has happened, he rudely interrupts me and says youre boring me and proceeds to tell me that he had spoken to me personally in regard to this. I told him he was definitely mistaken and that I have never spoken to him. I told him I had left a detailed message the SAME day we saw the patient, and had called twice since and spoke only to Danette who was taking care of the situation. He then had the audacity to rudely interrupt me again but this time told me (and I quote) ... When you can find someone who can professionally speak to a doctor, have them call me back.Wow ... talk about an unprofessional and egotistical physician. In my 30+ years in the medical field (ophthalmology, dermatology, and plastics), I have never had someone be so inconsiderate. I have never been anything but professional with everyone including my patients, our drug reps, all referring physicians, other employees, other practice administrators, etc. When I called the patient back and told her what happened, she was extremely apologetic that Dr. Lascaibar was so rude to me and said this is why I decided to never go back to that place. I should have know better once I read his reviews. Think twice before you go see Dr. Lascaibar at Manatee Optometry. If he treats another physicians office and staff this unprofessionally, think of how he treats his patients.

I had an excellent experience with Manatee Optometry! Danet and Dr. Lascaibar are the best. Very helpful and I felt like everything was explained in a detailed manner. I will definitely be referring friends and family here. They also have a great selection of frames in the office.

What a great experience we had with all the kids and Dr. Albert. He and his staff where fantastic with my little ones getting there eyes checked and fitted for glasses. Very profession and also so great with the kids also !!Thankful we found him !!!

I got there and the costumer service was very professional. All the employees where easy going. The doctor was amazing, very professional, he explained everything so I would understand every method. When I went to pick up my glasses they were ready in the promise date and I could see through them clearly. The prescription was the one that the doctor prescribed and I didnt have any issues since the day I picked the glasses up.

My glasses were damaged while on vacation. We walked in to see if they could help. They were wonderful and got us back to having fun quickly.
