My advice to you if you decide to go to this practice is not to pay them anything upfront. Being a new patient as well as a Medicare newbie I was duped into paying them at my visit which they said would be applied to my deductible. Unbeknownst to me Medicare determines which practitioners bill is applied to the deductible-not the practitioner-and they had determined it to be a prior practitioner. When I called the office to inquire about getting a refund since they were to be paid by Medicare and my supplemental plan I was treated extremely rudely and the return call I was promised never happened. If not for my persistence and finally finding an honest person in their billing department Alex who helped me Im sure they would have simply kept my payment as well as those from Medicare and I would not have received the refund I was due.

I have been to many Dermatologist in my life and this one has been the best. I have felt welcomed, important and comfortable from every phone call I have made to the office to the check out. I saw Sarah Puccinelli, PA-C. I was ready to cry with anticipating/very anxious having to explain what was going on and what they would say to me (have had bad experiences) but Sarah made me feel comfortable. She took time with me, listened to my concerns, thoroughly explained and reassured me. I feel confident in the future of my skin. I do return in a couple weeks for a follow up with the Dermatologist but I do not feel as anxious. I highly recommend.

Began coming here after relocating from Connecticut. Sarah is my provider and has done an excellent job . Office personnel are great as well.I will be using the Ellenton office in the future, which recently opened up, since it is much closer to home. I have been completely satisfied with Dermtology Assoc.

I started going to Dermatologist & Associates a few months back. I have been seeing Dr Givens as my dermatologist and she is absolutely AMAZING!! One of the best Drs I’ve ever been to. She knew my diagnoses on the spot and after sending in test labs she was correct. She followed up with extended thorough testing to make sure my diagnosis was correct. Dr Givens put me on the proper medications to help my condition, she prescribed the correct medications over my primary care. All the staff is absolutely amazing ALWAYS kind and very charismatic. Never been rude to me every single person has been so great and extremely helpful. They always follow up and are on top of their stuff. I love this dermatologist sarasota/ bradenton location (I’ve been to both) I highly recommend Dermatologist & Associates.

My first and only visit with the dermatologist felt rushed and it seemed like she was annoyed with me for some reason. She even forgot to look at a couple of problem areas I was worried about and had mentioned at the beginning of the exam. When I brought up these issues again, she was already halfway out the door and continued her exam as she was standing halfway in the hallway to leave my exam room.I was prescribed a hormonal acne pill which I ended up taking for several months. When I attempted to refill the prescription, I was told that I needed to make an appointment, but they couldnt give me a reason why (I have a rather large co-pay so I didnt want to go in if I didnt need to). Over the phone, the nurse told me the dermatologist might want to give me a blood test, but couldnt say for certain that I needed a blood test to stay on these pills. This led me to believe they just wanted to bill my insurance for procedures that I did not necessarily need. If I would have been told for certain, You need a blood test, this is the reason why... I would have scheduled the appointment.After being sassed, spoken down to, and not given a specific reason why I needed to see the dermatologist, I didnt schedule the appointment, didnt have my prescription refilled, and ran out of my meds. I went from 150 mg of these hormone pills a day to nothing. This sudden stop of hormone pills is TOTALLY MESSING WITH MY BODY. I have gained 8 lbs of water weight in two weeks. I went from 136 lbs to 144 lbs and every inch of my body is swollen. My socks are leaving indents on my ankles, my shorts are fitting tighter, I cant get my rings off my fingers, my face is swollen, my normally bony shins are huge and squishy. My emotions are crazy, my stomach has bloated out so much that I look pregnant, and my acne is coming back(which I expected). I cannot believe a doctor would allow a patient to suddenly stop taking a pill that affects their body chemistry so much. Ive never had a clinic or doctor/nurse treat me like this. This doctor does not have your best interest in mind.

I love Aspen Dental. The Dental Hygienists Ive had have been gentle and make my teeth feel brand new. Dr. Vu Tran is one of a kind. I highly recommend him.

In 2015 they told me a procedure was only going to cost me the $50 copay. They then billed me for an additional $331.57. Weve been going back and forth for 4 YEARS now (with a year or two between them responding) because they gave me the wrong information. I would not have had this procedure done if Id known the cost, and they should have known what the insurance company was going to pay and not pay. Beware of what they tell you, and contact your insurance company yourself to make sure youre getting the correct information.

I wish this office was a bit easier to call. Being on hold for 20-30 minutes is not easy.
