Dr. Ynga is great! I got a thorough cleaning and then 4 fillings (in one sitting). She made things as comfortable as possible and now my teeth look and feel great the very next day after the procedure! Theres not even any soreness or sensitivity! My dentist for life!

I am a new patient at Lorraine Road Dental and just had two crowns put in by Dr. Gabriel and am very pleased with the end result. Dr. Gabriel is very professional and mild mannered which was soothing to me and she strives for perfection which is what you want in a dentist. She and her staff did a great job. I would highly recommend Lorraine Road Dental.

I think this dental office is very professional and up to date with the latest equipment and well trained employees. This is definitely a positive. However, I feel like this office, along with many other new dental offices in this area, are more interested in pushing dental work for the almighty dollar. They immediately quote prices and make you feel you’re neglecting your dentalhealth if you don’t get a certain procedure done right away. For that reason, I always feel anxiety ridden when I leave their office.

I went in for a new patient consultation and everything went fairly smoothly. I was in there for 75 mins, which seems excessive, and it didnt seem super slammed busy when I got there. I told them where I left off with my last dentist and I recently had x-rays/pictures that I could have faxed over, but they still insisted on taking new pictures/xrays. Staff is very friendly and informative. I was well taken care of while I was there and I was referred out to an oral surgeon.

They try to up sell you during cleanings. Dont really explain why they are recommending this or that.

They overbook their customers! Twice I was forgotten about and just left sitting for over 40 minutes. The first time they left me in the waiting room for over 40 minutes and said, oh we didnt see you, let me go and get a room ready. I said, its obvious you have overbooked and dont have time for me. I rescheduled. When I arrived at my rescheduled visit, they took me back almost right away but I ended up sitting for over 30 mins in the dental chair. The assistant came in and said, Im trying to get the Hygienist in to measure your gums. Trying? I immediately got up and left. They have no sense of urgency or care about someone elses time but you better believe if they have an opening, they will call you constantly to fill it. I dont know why, they will just leave you sitting for someone else.Money hungry! And do you think they would call and apologize. Nope. Nothing.

The place is a factory and did a terrible job rebuilding tissue after a tooth pull. I was in needless pain for a week until I saw my oral surgeon who got matters corrected.

Dr. Ynga is simply the best dentist I have ever been to. I am not the best dental patient and she has a wonderful demeanor with patients and makes everything as comfortable as she can on each visit. She never seems rushed and is very calm when she works with her patients. You will have her undivided attention which really makes you feel reassured. The staff in the office is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this dental practice, especially to anyone who doesnt look forward to going to the dentist as I am!

I found the process very through and professional. My first impression is every member of the staff is dedicated to educate and assist each patient in achieving optimal oral health.

Unprofessional. Scheduled a cleaning and work to be done weeks ago all on the same morning. Had a babysitter lined up and was informed I was removed off of schedule because they could not confirm with me when they wanted. They simply wanted to change the time to five hours later (apparently their time is more important). Mind you I confirmed 24 hours before and was talking with their staff at 10 am the day before my scheduled appointment with them telling me I no longer had an appointment.

Always a pleasure with Dr Erika Ynga which is why I sought her when she changed location. She is very careful and thorough. This office was new January, 2019. It is beautiful and spacious with nice views from the treatment rooms. The new facility has ample parking. 700 feet E of Lorraine Rd!

Today was my first visit after relocation to Florida some months ago. Prior to the actual visit, I went through the normal new patient and records transfer forms and email it back to them prior to the office visit. I am very pleased and impresses by the cleanliness, level of protection strictly observed by all the staff, the professionalism of the multiple people I dealt with while I was there and the quality of care and service I received. I felt very comfortable being there and did not worry that there was anything being done, or behaviors that I felt put me or my health at risk. Examination and cleaning was thorough and complete and the the staff took the time to clearly explain and show me everything they saw along with their treatment plan recommendations. Very pleasant people and nice facility

I had my first cleaning at Lorraine dental today after being seen for a consultation several weeks ago. The hygienist was skilled, knowledgable, professional and compassionate. I had two concerns, one small and one medium. First, when i arrived someone from the back of the front desk area, about twenty feet from me shouted out “your name please?” Generally speaking i like to give my name discreetly to someone in a chair in front of me and not shouting it across a big space. It feels somewhat like an infringement on my privacy. Not a big deal however. What was upsetting was the fact that when I was there several weeks ago it was partially to discuss a need for an apicoectomy (surgery on a reinfected root canal) which had been diagnosed in new york two months earlier and which needed to be done as soon as possible. Dr Yenga said to send her the cat scan taken in New york and we would discuss it when i came for my cleaning. When i asked if that was on the agenda i was told again they would need first to see the cat scan. I said i spoke to the front desk weeks ago and they informed me the disk was received and would be reviewed before my next appointment (which was today). When the front desk finally located the disk i was told dr. Yenga would look at it now and discuss it with me at the end if my cleaning. When i was finished with the cleaning i was told that i needed to make an appointment in two months to discuss the surgery. I explained that i had told dr Yenga i would only be in florida until june 1st and that i would now have to again find another oral surgeon in new york. All in all this was disappointing. However, being a health care professional i understand that offices get busy and things can fall through the cracks. I hope the Comments herein are useful for this very professional and talented office to further refine its internal communications. Charles

Dr. Sorrento was good, but he’s already gone and the staff turnover is unbelievable every time I go back. They added up a big bill of procedures for both me and my husband that I’m now not sure we really needed...I stopped halfway through... at least you should get a second opinion.

The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. The doctor was very informative about the treatment and meticulous with the procedure. I highly recommend this practice.

I went in for my 6 month cleaning. Caralena is a very professional, thorough and careful dental hygienist. My teeth felt clean and shiny upon completion. She also answered my questions on teeth sensitivity and whitening with a very sensible plan. I had some questions about purchasing dental insurance that would be effective and compatible with their office and she gave me several options to choose from and helped me with what would probably be the best plans for my particular circumstances. Lauren was also helpful with insurance questions and explaining charges. I left feeling well taken care of and listened to by all of the staff I came in contact with. Their office is also lovely and I felt at ease and very comfortable during my visit.

What a great place to have my dental care done! The staff is friendly, the place is clean and I had to fill out a covid questionnaire and have my temp taken as a precaution. I didn’t wait long to be seen by the hygienist or the dentist and everything was explained in simple terms as far as the condition of my teeth, to the recommendation and benefits of using a Water Pik and an electric toothbrush and what to expect during my next visit.I would have given them 5 stars except twice they called to reschedule my appointment because the hygienist or the dentist wouldn’t be available. That doesn’t include the delay from Covid when my initial appointment was cancelled.

Very courteous and helpful staff. They take the time to answer all of your questions. The front staff made my paperwork and intake quick and efficient. They are great with communication. I felt like the dentist wanted what was best for me and was honest about which treatments options I should prioritized. I noticed that the office is very updated and used technology that was not available at my previous dentist.

Biggest rip off dentist in town. No matter what you go there for they bring in a Treatment plan for thousands of dollars and harrass you. I went in for the new patient cleaning. And they harrass you until you leave.

I am extremely pleased with Lorraine Road Dental Care!!! Everything is kept very CLEAN! The equipment is the latest and greatest. All employees are very pleasant starting with the receptionists who greet you upon check-in, the hygienist, the assistants, and the dentist herself. I felt very comfortable and informed the whole time I was there. (No-one commented on the fact that I should have gone in sooner.) I will definitely be going back!I am still rather new to the area and was concerned about having to select a new dentist. I usually wait and get numerous recommendations from friends. A few friends told me where NOT to go, but no-one I asked had been here yet - it is very new and I only know so many people! My husband went first a few months ago and he had a great experience. But, being SUPER FUSSY, I still wanted to hear from more people. But then when my tooth started hurting, I decided I had to stop waiting.I am so happy I finally went in. A small piece of an old filling had chipped out some time ago - I was aware of that, what I didnt realize was that decay started to work in below it. With detailed photos and digital xrays, I was shown exactly where and how bad the decay was. It was just beginning to touch the nerve:-( I needed some serious drilling, a root canal and a crown. They would have fit me in immediately, but because I was attending a dinner party that evening, they let me schedule the procedure a few days later, when it was convenient for me.Dr. Platt assured me she could easily perform this root canal, she showed me the size of the single root, explained everything in detail and said if she encountered any unforeseen difficulties with it, she would send me to a endodontist.Dr. Platt and her assistant, Celena, performed the whole procedure. There was a lot of decay to remove, then they did the root canal. I had no pain. They kept me informed and comfortable the whole time. I was sent home wearing a temporary crown, which looks perfect, by the way. The next day I called because it felt a smidge high in one spot. I was brought right in and it was easily corrected. They were super kind about it, said it wasnt a problem, it is hard to tell if the bite is perfect when you are still numb and if anything felt off, to not feel shy about coming back again. ALSO, instead of immediately ordering the permanent crown, because they had to do SO much drilling, they wanted to check me again 1 week later, after any swelling of my gums had settled down so they could get a perfect fit. I never felt any pain or noticed any swelling, but that was a nice extra precautionary step.Yes, I highly recommend Lorraine Road Dental!

I was in Albany, NY the Friday after Christmas and my cap came off (originally put on by a different dentist). I called Lorraine Road Dental, on Monday, just before I flew back to Florida. Dr. Ynga’s office brought me in at 5:30 pm that same Monday! Dr. Ynga cemented my cap. The staff were working late but were very considerate. Dr. Ynga is always professional and very caring!!! This was the BEST experience i’ve had at a dentist office!! And the most affordable as a self pay patient. The enviornment was clean, welcoming, non judgemental and they took their time with me as far as explaining everything they were doing and why. They were gentle and super kind. My hygenist Carolina was AMAZING!! I love her already and am looking forward to working with them in the future to obtain maximum dental health. Would recommend to everybody!!
