I had an awesome time. It was like boarding school. I got up, got dressed brushed my teeth, then off to the cafeteria to breakfast. After that, I did some fun stuff. But instead of lessons, I had PE, swimming, art, etc. After that, I went back to the cafeteria for lunch. After lunch, I went back for a two hr (120 min.) quiet time in dorms. We can hang out and play games, study, etc. At three, we had snack in the cafeteria. Then we did some after school stuff. At 6, we had supper and at 7 we had campfire. After that, we went back to our dorms to hang out for a couple hours prior to bed. You can hang out and do whatever. At 2200 (10 pm), lights out.
This place is amazing. I bring my son as often as I can. He loves it and I know hes in a safe place.
My son attended for the first time in July and I cannot tell you the amazing experience he had. I highly recommend Dream Oaks Camp for your family. My son cried all the way home because he had to leave and had a life changing positive experience. They truly value each child and their respective abilities and encourage them to try new things and grow.
