The Dr and nurses were nice but the lady at the front desk not only made me reveal my medical condition for not wearing a mask, but did so in a room full of people making me relive it all over again having to tell the reason why...

All of the staff get a five star. DARLENE should get double 5 star. Dr. Tucker is the best. Very kind, explained, and very friendly. My only concern is the price! My glasses seem to go up higher and higher! They tell me every time I have the best insurance, but I still had to pay almost $500.00 for one pair of glasses. The first time I purchased glasses at Value Vision, I was able to get 2 or. For a little over 300.00. A big difference. Love Value Visions staff, but might have to start price comparing Glasses.

Was needing more contacts, so I scheduled me an appointment. Doc wanted me to try a different brand of contacts, rather than the ones I’ve been using for almost 10 years. I received my trial pair and had some issues with them. Thought it was the strength, so the doc increased it and went forward with ordering them. Got them in, after about 25 days of wearing, I did not like them. I called the office on a Saturday, and explained, was told doc would call me on Monday. A week and a half go by I don’t hear anything. I called and was told the doc ordered me a completely different brand for me to try, rather than just refunding me the money I paid for the contacts, or ordering what I liked, and worked. I think I’ll just be using 1800contacts until I absolutely have vision problems. Probably will have to find someone new, after using them for 8 years.

Total experience was good. Wish that the Lady that signed me in would have used some kind of customer service, was very cold did not make me feel appreciated as well as the Lady that measured me for my glasses. Just did not feel that customer service that they have provided in the past felt like I was a inconvenience to them get me in get me out effect. The Doctor she was super great. Really went out of her way to making sure that she answered all of my questions. The nurse that took my vitals and checked my vision was really great thank you. Receptionist had great customer service welcoming and making sure I was attended properly Thanks . Still I would highly recommend this Vision Source to my friends and family and coworkers. Thanks

Everyone was very nice. They were polite and professional. However, I was shown only 5 different frames. They dont allow YOU to select from their offerings, they bring to you what they THINK you might like. They only told me the price of the imaging vs. drops in the eyes procedure and the cost of my frames. I had insurance and yet my portion of the bill was $431 for a single pair of glasses!! I was truly shocked. They really should break down each expense so you can know what you are paying for.

I had an extremely positive experience here. Everyone was very kind and thorough. I was given very detailed explanation of my eye exam. I will definitely continue to use them.

Awesome doctors and staff. I had an urgent medical situation three months ago and the got me in the same day. I had my follow up/regular eye exam yesterday and am still having issues and they are referring me out to a Retinal specialist as soon as they open on Monday. My husband.’s exam went uneventful and he will have his new glasses in a couple weeks. Dr Jeskie is awesome!!

My visit was quick and painless, as usual. Everything was checked out, prescription updated and had a great discussion about my vision health with the doctor. Another great visit in the books.

They are very thorough! I’ve have been seeing them since the 70’s. I wouldn’t recommend any other place. They are the BEST!

If I could give a zero, I would. My children were seen by Dr Jeskie. We will not return to Vision Source ever again. My children are very young and he was very rude to them. He has no patience which is saying a lot given my children are well behaved. Then he fussed about my daughter not wearing glasses after hers was broken. We went to Vision Source last year & got our glasses from them. Unfortunately, they do not fix or replace glasses. Since I am a single Mom of 8 children, of which 7 wear glasses, I cannot afford to purchase glasses more than once a year. So we will take our business elsewhere.

I really enjoy my appointments to Vision Source. I am greeted with a smile, no long wait to see the eye doctor and cleanliness is constantly. Easy getting appointments.

Vision Source definitely keeps you moving - there are usually no long lines or waiting past your appointment time. Typically I am in-and-out in an hour or so. I have been going to doctor Jeskie for nearly 20 years and he is always friendly and answers questions with a smile. The staff is also friendly and efficient. Oh and I really like my glasses too ;-)

Amazing care and service! I called desperately before they even opened to request an appt (knowing they’d be full) due to an eye infection. They called me back to inform me of a cancellation. I took it. They then called me back and said to ‘come on in’ because they didn’t want me to wait any longer in pain. Won’t give me my strength for readers/bifocals over the phone while I’m standing here at work and can’t see!!!! All I needed was that info so I can tell my boss so they can pull the right safety glasses for me.They will only mail or fax. I’m in the middle of a factory and we don’t make fax machines that’s for sure. What a joke!

Waited 50 minutes to get back to start my appointment, everything felt very rushed once I got back. They did not even ask me if I wanted contacts, which I was hoping to be getting, and they acted as though I was the one who was supposed to let them know I wanted contacts when I was never asked about what I was going to be doing and they just sent me to the glasses. The staff was very unfriendly and numerous times they sent us to wait in chairs at desks where somebody was supposed to be helping us but we sat there for 10 minutes as workers walked by and looked at us sitting there waiting for help and didn’t even bother to say anything. They then told me in order to get contacts I had to have a contact exam which would be a separate appointment and would cost a separate fee to come in for, to me it seems as though they are trying to rip people off making them pay for multiple appointments that should be done at one time. Very disappointed and will be finding a new eye place ASAP.

Highly recommend taking your business here! The staff is filled with lovely men and women all keen to help and all while enjoying a great conversation. I would also note they were very efficient in taking care of patients based on covid regulations. Every station was sanitized before each use and all employees kept distances. Would highly recommend check them out!

Only eye doctor/ eyeglass store in the area that I could find open for emergencies through Covid. I broke my glasses and cant see much without them. I was srarting to think that I was going to have to make the drive to Nashville. I will continue to use Vision Source.

The doctor (Dr. Compton) was the best eye doc I’ve ever had. She was very caring and really took her time. The sales staff were pushy. They tried to make me pay $20 to get my prescription even though they’re legally required to give it to me. I don’t think I’ll be back which is a shame since I loved the doctor.

Doctors are emphamis for poor scheduling of patient appointments. Over the years making patients wait for hours is trending to be the norm. Today my appointment was for 3 pm & I finally got to see the Doctor at 4:50 pm. Just shy of waiting 2 hrs. for my scheduled appointment. I can honestly say all my appointments with Vision Source of BG KY, this wait time has been the norm. Vision Source of BG really need 2 get their act together. I for one will be seeking other services. I give them a flat 0 for a grade.

I really really enjoy my eye doctor she is full of knowledge and share it with the people she see which is what we need. I can tell she really want me to see better. Not just another dollar sign for that place. we need more eye doctors like her that care what we see.!!! she goes above and beyond others I have seen in the area. And for me to being a diabetic and the knowledge she has it helps out a lot as well. she is very interested in what medication I was taking as well and let me know everything to look out for and what will affect and not affect my vision. she is the only one I will see so if she leaves i will follow.

I am a senior. (Not in high school. 🤣)After a raving recommendation from my friend I saw Dr Compton for a second opinion. I have had some issues with my eyes for a couple years. She was very thorough in her exam. She spent time explaining my conditions in language I could understand and “stressed“ the importance of sunglasses and a couple other things regarding my conditions and why they were important. She gave me time to ask questions. Her staff was just as friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr Compton at Vision Source of Bowling Green.

I had a great experience at vision source today. Everyone was kind and professional and very helpful. When choosing glasses I told the young lady that I liked “ bling” and she didn’t disappoint. She brought several pair to choose from and I found my bling! So I am good to go!!

I’ve heard great things about Vision Source, especially how spectacular they are with children. I made an appointment for my 4 year old. While making the appointment over the phone, the office staff verified that VS does take his insurance. I gave them his info- SSN, birthday, & our address. There happened to be a cancellation so we got in right away, which was great! We get there, I’m signing new patient documents, etc., and hand the staff his insurance card. Immediately, the staff apologizes for not accepting his insurance. I was really confused and baffled that I verified everything over the phone to only be turned down. Instead of offering to pay for an eye exam out of pocket (which I would’ve happily done), the staff member treats me very incompetently asking if I called the wrong optometrist. I told her I had verified everything over the phone and that’s how we have an appointment and VS has all of our information. The staff member then proceeds to say, “I’ll walk you out”. I’m not only very dissatisfied with the behavior of the staff, but am now a concerned parent that gave some “mystery staff person” SSNs, our home address, telephone numbers, etc. All I would’ve liked was an explanation and an opportunity but instead was treated very poorly in front of my child.

It was my first time here. Very friendly staff and a very complete eye exam. My whole family will probably go here now.

Dr was great and the two nurses that took care off dad the front desk said my dad did not have insurance that covered his glasses which he did they had to relook it back up. Besides doing it at first which embarrassed my dad. Then only brought him three pair off glasses said that all his insurance would pay . It just seems very strange that out of thousand frames you only have three that his insurance will approve when there is thousands of people with this insurance. Finally she went and looked again and found a pair that would pay for so that made it a total of four. This is very sad . His insurance pays three hundred toward his glasses and besides saying we have the four economy pairs and then we have these you pay have to pay some out off pocket but it was this is all your insurance will pay for . It was like because he on Medicare it was a disgrace to them. I was not pleased with the two ladies at all. Then when I was given recipt I was given the only part he paid out off pocket .

I never even got to go to my appointment that I scheduled two months in advance, because they called me two days prior to reschedule because the doctor was not going to be in office, which was fine, however during the reschedule process the lady that I was transferred to was very rude to me. She couldnt answer my questions, gave me a snippy tone, and when I asked why I didnt get a further notice she said she couldnt reschedule me for another month. It was their fault.Also I did the online paperwork then called back, they not only got my name wrong but my birthdate as well, both of which I wrote on the paperwork.In summery, rude employees, bad customer service, poor communication skills, unprofessional environment,

Great experience, even with all the covid bs we have to go through. They have all the latest technology and outstanding patient service. I would had given five stars, but I called in for an appointment and they said they couldnt get me in for two mounths, went online and scheduled one for the very next day.. not sure what thats about. Highly recommend this place though.

They told my disabled grandma her glasses were ready so she asks them how much she owes but they were already paid for they said, so I take my grandma to get them (in the middle of a pandemic while raining) and they tell her she owes them $100...She left her money at home because they were already paid for...My grandma risks her life everytime she leaves the house, as do I...Wasted my time, gas and put peoples life at risk...Tried to make a complaint but they have no complaint forms and I was told I can only make the complaint to this specific branch owner and not corporate itself, we will see I guess...In the meantime my family will be doing business elsewhere

I was very pleased with my visit. All the people were very pleasant and competent. Dr Compton was great. I have found a new home for my vision needs.

Contacts have been in for at least 4 weeks. No new fit scheduled. I have called 3 times only to get told that the person who does the new fit scheduling is at lunch, and that she will call me when she gets back. Well I called at 11:15 am today its now 2:35pm. I definitely want her lunch break at my job. I paid for these on July 24th now i would like to have them.

My Right I was hurting, itching. I called and told them I was miserable. Their response was excellent. I was nearby they scheduled me right in with Dr. Tucker. Made quick work of whatever paperwork needed to be done and Dr. Tucker walked me through everything he was doing. I just had a piece of lunch or something under my eyelid. He removed and told me to keep it clean and rinsed. Problem solved crisis averted! I don’t know what else they could have done to help me. So I gave them six stars ~
