Got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Le and it went extremely well. She and Crystal were able to accommodate my time frame and I appreciate all the check ups to ensure I was healing properly. She even called me the evening after my surgery to see if the bleeding subsided. Very kind staff and definitely recommend her practice!

Dr. Le was very careful and compassionate with my wisdom tooth removal. The explanation of the procedure was very detailed and considers a wide range of scenario, so I felt confident to have it done here. The procedure was fast (only 45 minutes from lost of consciousness to waking up again) and painless. The recover was also very smooth: 10 ibuprofen pills was sufficient to help me manage the pain. Overall, it was a very easy process on my side, and I felt comfortable and confident over the entire process.Tip: Dr. Le might describe the procedure and aftermath a little more scary than it really is :)

Great experience! Dr. Le is very kind and professional. I had my wisdom teeth removed and the experience was less painful than I anticipated. It was a fast procedure as well. Dr Lee and staff helped me eliminate pain from Wisdom teeth by extracting all four of them in a period of one year. Dr Lee is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and caring. After my first visit, I was surprised to receive a call from her the evening after the appointment (during which two of my wisdom teeth had left me); she wanted to follow up and make sure I was doing okay. A year later, I visited their office again to have the other two teeth removed as well. One of them had to be drilled out, but I felt no fear or pain as I lay on the operating chair; I felt relaxed and removed from the situation, as if I was looking at myself from the eyes of the nurse who was assisting with the operation.If you are on the fence about visiting the office, my advice to you is to go for it. I trusted the team and had an amazing experience because of it. So can you. All the best!

Before wisdom teeth removal surgery, I had a lot of questions and really worried about the surgery, like the anesthesia. Because I have not heard any friend from my home country have four teeth pulled off at one surgery. And Dr. Le and Crystal answered my questions in great patience and gave the detailed explanations (the replies are really quick, some are even at night). And I decided to do the surgery during the pandemic since I could not stand the pain. Dr. Le gave me detailed instructions about how to use the medicine before and after the surgery. The surgery is a success. And after the surgery, I was given phone calls to check my condition by Dr. Le. And I just did everything according to Dr. Les detailed instructions. And after several days, I recovered extremely well. And then, I had a check by Dr. Le and was told that everything went well. Just want to say thank you to them. The work they do is really amazing!

Dr. Le and her team were really great with my wisdom teeth surgery. They were efficient and really friendly, and overall just really helped me understand and feel safe with the process.

I needed an implant of tooth #15 on my upper jaw. I contacted Crystal, the office manager, and she made an appointment for me promptly even during these COVID-19 times. She is very knowledgeable about insurance. After Dr. Thao Le looked at my tooth, she recommended a guided implant with sinus lift/bone graft to ensure there is enough bone for a successful implant. Dr. Le is very friendly and professional. She answered all my questions and put me at ease right away. I had the surgery done in September. Even though it it was an invasive surgery, she did it so deftly that I did not feel much pain and there was hardly any bleeding! Both the sinus lift and dental implant were done in one step. Dr. Le saw me as many times as was necessary/warranted for post-op evaluation to ensure that the recovery was progressing well, which it is. They have all the state-of-the-art equipment, including cone beam CT to help guide a successful surgery. I also had some concerns about doing the surgery during COVID-19, but they follow all recommended safety guidelines/protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). I plan to see Dr. Le in early 2021 for the completion of my procedure. So far I am very happy with the progress. All office staff, including Crystal and Heather, are very patient and cordial. I highly recommend Dr. Le and this office for dental surgery.

I went to Boulder Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the office of Dr. Thao Le DDS. I went to get an exam for a lesion that I had on the gum above my left front tooth.I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who made me feel very much at ease. She showed me into the exam room where I waited for Dr. Le. Moments after meeting Dr. Le, I could tell that she was patient, kind and highly knowledgeable. She explained things to me in a way that I could understand well what was happening and what may happen. After the exam, Dr Le said she did not know what the lesion was and recommended a biopsy. I asked if we could do it that day. I like to get things done sooner than later and, at that point, I trusted Dr Le. She said she could do it. A few minutes later, the numbing process for the local anesthesia began. About 2O minutes later, I was feeing pretty good and the biopsy began. Dr. Les energy was calm and she was extremely focused. It was over very quickly and all was well.I highly recommend Boulder Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dr Le.

Because of dentophobia, I didnt dare to remove my wisdom teeth for the last few years. On my first visit, I was very stressed and wanted to remove them one by one, but Dr. Le advised me to remove all 4 together the same day under the sedation anesthesia. And we did it! I didnt feel any pain and remember nothing about the surgery. In the evening Dr. Le called me to ask how I feel; moreover, she is available on phone 24/7. It helped me to be calm and confident that I am in good hands and they will take care of me anytime when I need. Recovery went without any complications; I even didnt take prescribed painkillers. I was really impressed by the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Le and the team! If somebody afraid to remove wisdom teeth like me, just come and they will do the rest for you in the best possible way!

Recently - my two kids had their wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Le and her office were an amazing support throughout the process. The office team is incredibly professional and kind. The experience here was very good. Dr. Thao Le is very good at what she does. I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted, and it was a very easy process. Dr. Le seems to be very focused on using the most effective post-care medicines and regiments. The healing time and pain was minor compared to a previous wisdom tooth extraction I had 5 years ago.The staff in the office are very easy to talk to and are fun.The only room for improvement is explaining the costs of the first appointment up front. I think it is very valuable to meet with your surgeon before the operation, but it may not be covered by dental insurance. Knowing this up front would be an area of improvement for the office.

Not a single painkiller pill was necessary. No dry sockets. Not even much swelling around my face. Dr. Le and and her staff are real professionals. I just moved to CO in September and started having issues with my wisdom teeth. I chose Boulder OMS for my removal due to their reviews and proximity to my apartment, and I am beyond happy with my choice.During the consultation Dr. Le and her staff took the time to answer all of my questions and prepare me and my caretaker for what was to come. The removal was quick and they had my Rx ready for me at the pharmacy when we arrived.About 4 days after the surgery I had a concern about some symptoms I was having, and I called their number at 6pm and was able to talk to Dr. Le herself, who was able to fit me in the next morning.One of the best experiences I’ve had with a medical office!

Two decades ago, my elder son had both his upper front teeth knocked out in a baseball accident. The teeth were on the ground. Dr. Sibley was in the middle of a bike ride way up Boulder Canyon. At 6 p.m., he turned around and rode his bike straight to his office, where he replanted the teeth and patched together a dozen fragments of bone. The teeth survived!Since 1999, Dr. Sibley has taken care of anyone and everyone in my family. I have had a multitude of implants, all of them successful. He has allowed me to enjoy excellent dental health for the first time in my life.This guy is the consummate professional. He has traveled the world doing free dental work for poor people, including in the Ukraine. He has provided top-flight care for hundreds of patients in Boulder alone. Other dentists use him as a resource. He is frank and honest. It is doubtful there is any oral surgeon around who is more knowledgeable and skilled.I trust he will be practicing for at least another 15 years. But if and when he retires, this community will lose a huge asset.

What a pleasant experience I had with Dr. Le, her assistant and the office staff. Dr. Le was extremely patient with me in explaining all the details of my molar that was infected at the root and had to be extracted. We turned the appointment into humor hour. I actually enjoy going to the dentist so having a doctor that was so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable really added to my adventure with a new surgeon. I cant say enough about how wonderful Dr. Le was. This past autumn, I was hiking with family in Boulder when I slipped and face planted on a rock. I gashed my face and broke one of my front teeth. Dr. Le came into the ER on a Friday evening. She was warm, supportive and professional. She had me sedated by the ER staff and removed my tooth right there in the ER! It was completely painless and easy. Thank you, Dr.Le, for as nice of an experience as a trip to the ER can be. You were great!!

Im a really tough patient. I had a traumatic wisdom tooth removal in 1992, which left me with severe anxiety about any dental procedures. Additionally, I tend to have strange and/or strong reactions to many medications. So when I needed a tooth pulled recently due to a root fracture, I was not in good shape. Dr. Le was amazing with me though. She actually listened to me when I described my prior experiences, rather than writing me off as just another anxiety nutjob. She rearranged medications to the best of her ability to help reduce the aftereffects I knew I was going to have. She also did an amazing job with the tooth itself. My dentist had referred me to a surgeon because it had difficult looking roots that might have gone into my sinus. Dr. Le got it out all in one piece though, with no damage to my sinus membrane. Her light touch certainly made the recovery easier. In addition, she and her staff were extremely caring and compassionate throughout the whole process. I cant say enough good things about this office, high recommend.

Great Experience with Dr. Le! I took my mom for bridge and another molar extraction. My mom doesnt speak English and Dr. Le was very patient, never rushed us, explained every step of the process, and gave me time to translate. My mom was very comfortable during the procedure. I went to Dr Le to have a wisdom tooth removed. I had never had that done before, and was naturally apprehensive. She listened to my concerns attentively and put me completely at ease with her kind demeanor, both during the first consult as well as the day of the extraction. She explained meticulously what she was doing and why, and what I could expect in the days following the extraction. In the end I was pleasantly surprised at how much smoother the whole process was (extraction and subsequent healing) compared to what I was fearing! So Id happily recommend her practice to anyone. I had an oral & maxillofacial surgery with Dr. Le and it was a pleasant experience. I found her hands very light and delicate. I chose to take only the local anesthetic so that I could be aware of what was happening. I closed my eyes here and there in order to relax a bit but was surprised when she said all was done, as I didt even noticed that she had already pulled the tooth out. The most amazing was that I had NO pain after the surgery, neither on the day of nor on the following days. Im still very thankful to have had the chance to know her and experience her work.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Le. The surgery for my dental implant and sinus lift went perfectly. Recovery was easy and Im very happy with the results. Dr. Le is great to work with and explains every step of the process very clearly. She and her office staff also helped ensure that my insurance would cover as much as possible. They helped me work through an appeals process after the procedure was initially denied due to confusion at MetLife. Dr. Le wrote them a letter and MetLife ultimately covered the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Le!

Dr. Le is a very sweet and care doctor, and even looking so tiny she is very capable of taking off your wisdom teeth... lol. I loved her! Wish she could be my regular dentist.

AVOID THIS ORAL SURGEON AS SHE LACKS COMPASSION AND EMPATHY FOR HER PATIENTS PAIN!!my wife had a very serious procedure done here and was prescribed extremely small amount of pain killers to allow her to rest and heal and not be in agony. She was in excruciating pain for 3 weeks and Dr. Le refused to refill the prescription after initially only prescribing 10 low dose pills. Upon visiting her dentist, we found out that she left a stitch in her upper mouth near her nasal cavity that became infected and this was the source of tremendous, needless discomfort. Dr Le claimed she could not prescribe more pain meds due to the DEA rules which upon researching was not true. My wife suffered needlessly for 3+ weeks and could not eat, sleep nor hardly work for 2 of them thanks to this protocol and callous demeanor of the surgeon..

You do NOT want to go here. Their office is old and outdated and the customer service is terrible. I walked into the back room, and turned and walked right back out again. Unclean, old furniture, old equipment. Scary dental office from the 1970s. Thumbs down.

I would give a 6 if I could!
