Cindy always does such an incredible job cleaning my teeth. She’s thorough, compassionate, and good company especially because not everyone enjoys going to the dentist. She’s an absolute superstar. Tina is also amazing. She’s just the sweetest. Love it here!

Smooth as silk. I hate going to the Dentist like poison but everyone was extremely professional and made it easy. Dr. Uppal was kind, patient, and took care of me so well. I will always go back here. I made an appointment for a new patient cleaning. I was super excited they were able to get me in right away and that they were well rated on Google and on my insurance website. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience that warrants a review.The X-rays and exam took about an hour. There were FOUR people in the exam room, one was clearly training, but one just stood in a corner, it was weird. The dentist did a thorough exam and determined two of my crowns (that weren’t loose or causing me pain) needed to be replaced. At the end of the appointment, a Manager came in to provide a quote and make future appointments. No cleaning? I asked and she explained they didn’t do cleanings at new patient appointments. This was the whole purpose of making the appointment, as stated when i made the appointment.She offered to make TWO additional appointments, one for the cleaning and one for all the “issues” the dentist found. So overall they wanted me to make THREE appointments. The Manager was apologetic and offered for the dentist to come back to do the cleaning because she happened to have time in her schedule, however at that point it had already been an hour and I hadn’t planned to spend hours at the dentist.Ive never had this type of experience before trying to get a basic teeth cleaning. It seems like this office over complicates their scheduling and hasn’t fully trained staff.My insurance had to covered the evaluations exam and X-rays, neither of which I had requested. I was very clear I had just had an exam in January and JUST needed a cleaning.This was a complete waste of my time. I was strong armed into making an appointment for $1K worth of “issues” the dentist found and called them back when I got to my car to cancel and request my X-rays (since I paid for those and I wasn’t coming back).I think there are much easier dentist offices to deal with. This office isn’t worth the hassle.

I was a new patient a few weeks ago. I was very nervous for my appointment, I wanted a cleaning done first, but Im glad with the staff how they took the time to educate me and explain to me how exam and X-rays are important to do so first And they explain to me what type of cleaning I needed. I didnt know there was different types of cleanings. But long story short Dr. Uppal made me feel very comfortable and pleased with my visit. Nice cleaned and organized staff. After avoiding going to the dentist for a while Im glad I made the right decision on going to the right place! Thank you guys!!

The most disorganized and chaotic office visit Ive ever had. I work in food retail and am sympathetic to having a busy morning rush and try to be a good patient/customer whenever possible. But this crossed the line. I dont feel comfortable returning here or recommending their office to anyone.Short story: if I hadnt been desperate to get a teeth cleaning that worked with my work schedule I would have walked out.-My cleaning wouldnt have actually happened if I hadnt said anything after the x-rays were finished. Even though thats explicitly what I booked the appointment for in the first place on their online portal and confirmed on the phone with them later in the week. They really thought I booked an entire appointment to just go in and get x rays done then book a cleaning and leave-Little was actually explained to me before they brought a clipboard with a treatment plan to be signed (while I was still in the chair with the bib clipped on). The other offices Ive gone to at least wait until after youre done drooling on yourself so you can do that at the front counter with some self respect and are able to communicate.-Overall the communication of the staff did not make me feel confident that they were even on the same page with each other. The receptionist, hygienist,.and dentist were in and out having conversations over me having to clarify things with each other several times. At the end there seemed to somehow still be confusion on what tooth I needed a filling done on later.-The dentist (tall & bald) made me extremely uncomfortable. First few minutes in he coughs without covering his mouth or having a mask on - in a medical office. Then he kept putting his thumbs in the waistband of his pants while talking for some reason? Eww. Plus the annoyances of shining the light directly in my eyes, raising and lowering me without warning, and pointing something.out on the computer when Im still laid down with a light shining directly down. He waited until his part of the cleaning was done to bother mentioning that the intensity can be lower or higher. This would have been nice to know beforehand along with some communication system figured out since he was knuckle deep in my mouth for several uncomfortable minutes.I dont expect to be coddled as a patient but I at least expect to be taken into consideration and treated with respect.

One of the best deep cleanings and fillings I have ever done. I don’t have to worry about after the service and follow up. Staff was nice and co-operative at the desk and inside the dentist room. After all, no concerns after the service!I would highly recommend this dentistry for a smooth and painless experience!!

Edit: the Dentistry of Colorado has reached out to help me figure this out.Slammed with a huge insurance bill because the Dentistry of Colorado couldnt send in the right paperwork. They said I needed a crown because of a cracked tooth, so I went ahead with the crown (because you trust your dentist, right?). A month later, I received a notice from my insurance that they would not cover the crown because the Dentistry of Colorado didnt provide sufficient evidence of >50% tooth decay. Weekly voicemail messages, emails, and three months go by and the Dentistry of Colorado still has not returned my calls or helped me figure this out. Posting here to perhaps get their attention.... Happy to revise this review if someone will just return my calls or emails....

WOW! What a treat this was! Hadnt been to a dentist for a while and their care for me was amazing! From the time I walked in they greeted me with smiles. They explained the process, exam, xrays and a consultation first. I was educated by Dr. Uppal on what was seen in mouth, then they reviewed my treatment needed. I agreeded to a cleaning and they completed it the same day. Next appointment scheduled for fillings. I am a little nervous, but know I am in good hands with Dr Uppal. She is amazing. I highly recommend this place. NICE JOB FOLKS!

Incompetent front desk staff, unable to communicate correct appointment times, tried to get the a problem area checked and then do a maintenance clean, they are not able to schedule both at the same day, had to come in twice. Came in the next day for cleaning, they refused to do teeth cleaning without doing a full set of Xrays first. We require Xrays for cleaning to be performed. Ridiculous.

My experience this last year as a patient has been worthy of giving this 5 star rating. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Cindy has cleaned my moulth so well that my gums are actually healing.

Got my back molar crowned yesterday and it was probably one of the best experiences at a dentist office. The Dr. did a good job at numbing me so it was as painless as possible. Now my giant cavity is gone. Nice. I definitely plan on visiting again soon for more dental work.

She and Dr. Stephanie carefully realigned my jaw using special invisalign modifications, and now, 20 years of popping, neck and jaw pain, headaches, and clenching are GONE. As a new customer, I was made to feel very welcome, offered water while I waited, and didnt wait long before receiving high quality attention. I had called in advance and didnt really have an appointment. I needed a new crown, and my previous dentist quoted a charge that was simply outrageous.First the dental tech, examined my teeth, took x-rays, and a photo scan of my teeth and bite. it was done in a very professional manner and I got helpful feedback during the examination. The Dentist then came in and confirmed that I needed the new crown, and quoted me a cost that was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the prior Dentist.They immediately prepared my tooth, took impressions, and prepared and installed a temporary crown. The process was painless and efficient, and the entire staff there was friendly and upbeat.Two days later the temporary crown was loose, and I went in (again without an appointment) to get it cemented back in place. The receptionist, welcomed me back, and let me know that the new crown had just arrived and within the next 1/2 hour it was permanently in place. It needed no adjustments, and fit perfectly.The service I received was amazing, and I am now a very happy and satisfied customer.Ive already made an appointment (a;ways a good idea ) for my next teeth cleaning, and I plan to be a long term client of this office.

I’m so glad to finally have found a great dentist in South Boulder! Got the cleaning of a lifetime today from Cindy, the most thorough teeth cleaning in my life hands down. Friendly and helpful staff all around. I originally went in for a cracked tooth and have since got some crown work done by Dr. Stephanie who was also very helpful and thorough in her craft. I’m always seen on time and greeted by smiling faces, almost makes you want to go back to the dentist!!

I am remarkably pleased with Dr. Sage Pollack and entire staff at Dentistry of Colorado - Boulder. I find the depth of their services and commitment to my dental care to be distinctively unique. Why? Multiple Convenient Locations; Oral Surgery, Implant and Family Dentistry all under one-roof; and with a palpable passion for excellence in serving patient-client needs. If it happened once, I would say it was luck. However, I have found myself in urgent need of dental care that required the most intense procedures, quickly, on several occasions. All successful and with my peace of mind that I had the best of care.

Ive been going to this practice for several years - before Dr. Pollack took it over. Overall the staff are friendly and excellent communicators. Dr. Pollack is professional and has provided excellent care as Ive had to have several new crowns over the past couple of years. All of this work has gone smoothly. A couple of years ago I had an unsatisfactory evaluation and cleaning with one of the other dentists who is no longer with the practice. When I raised my concerns to Dr. Pollack, she responded timely and very professionally. She offered to redo the evaluation personally at no charge. I have been very satisfied with the practice ever since. Also, Cindy the hygienist is a great communicator with a sense of humor. She does very meticulous work and explains everything very carefully. She answers my questions clearly and completely. She actually makes the cleaning fun if you can imagine that!

I have been coming to this office for a few years now already. I have had so much trauma around dentist visits from my childhood and have many issues with my teeth. This is the first office I gladly can say I go to and feel better afterwards and the only Office I feel heard and not belittled for all of my fears and concerns. I always receive great advice and help from anyone from the staff and I especially like that it is an all female stuff at the boulder office I go to. I have had an implant done at this office, Dr. Sage is fabulous and took all my fears away and did an amazing job, everything healed well and was almost no pain after the surgery and absolutely no pain during surgery. I get my teeth cleaned by Cindy and she is just the sweetest and most patient and thorough person for me. All in all, I can only recommend this office. If I could give more stars, I would. :)

Truly the best experience I have had with a dentist. I have had cleanings as well as some fairly serious procedures done here, and all were as pleasant as a trip to the dentist could possibly be. The staff is kind, fun to be around, and extremely knowledgeable. They talk of their continuing education, which is standard for all employees. That gave me added confidence that I was getting the best care that the state of the art can provide.

My experience at this dentist office has been great compared to past experiences at other offices. This office is very efficient--I was surprised at how fast and responsive they were, whether it was following up with an appointment request or simply being seen and treated by the dentist. Both the dentist and the hygienist are very informative and are more than happy to explain the procedure or the science behind conditions and their treatments. Prices are also very reasonable when comparing to other offices in the area. I definitely feel comfortable here and will be coming here for now on!

I love going to the dentist! I get to enjoy a view of the Flatirons while I get my teeth cleaned. My hygienist, Cindy, is wonderful! She explains everything as she works. She has is gentle yet thorough. In my 42 years, I’ve never had a cavity, but I needed an implant this past year because I had a retained baby tooth (with no adult tooth to replace it, gasp!) Dr Pollack did an amazing job creating a tooth that fit and matches perfectly! You can’t tell I have an implant! I feel very comfortable and confident with the care I receive.

Amazing service! The staff is very detailed and informative. They helped figure out what my insurance would cover and gave me a clear understanding of what my treatment would be and cost. Dr. Pollack is an incredibly hard working individual and I have felt the same from her incredible staff at each of her dental locations. I recently moved to Boulder and I am just as happy here as I was with her Lakewood practice. In fact I just had my teeth cleaned and I can say without a doubt it was the most thorough cleaning of my life. I always feel as though I am in good hands and genuinely cared for. Loved my experience here as much as anyone can love going to the dentist. I was really impressed with the front-of-office staffs insurance knowledge. It was so nice to be able to get a quick answer about my insurance policys coverage without having to pay upfront or spend time on the phone with my insurance company. The dentist and hygienist were also personable and helpful, without pushing any unnecessary treatments.

My entire family has gotten a lot of work done here, from wisdom teeth extraction, to cleanings, to fillings and more. Ive had a ton of help from the always delightful Amy at the front desk in getting the correct receipts for my FSA. I like both Dr. Pollock and Dr. Stephanie a lot. Cindy, the dental hygienist, was probably my favorite of all time. She was quirky and thorough and incredibly competent. Shes an expert at what she does and I felt lucky to have found someone of her caliber. We still have work to get done, so well be back for more. And my husband and I will look at Invisalign in the near future, too.

Good experience! Had some tooth pain in back right molar crown and they fixed it up quickly and painlessly. They did not need to replace the crown. Some dentists may have done that type of work to generate more income. Feel like this practice is honest and treats people well.

Such a friendly and accommodating staff. I have had a significant amount of work done here and I have no complaints. Once did a filling fall out and I was able to come in first thing in the morning and have it fixed on the spot. I feel better about my care at this office than I have at a dentists office in decades. Im having the best experience at Bear Peak Dental. Mary Elaine has taken the extra time and care to educate me every step of the way so I can really understand what is going. This office has been wonderful! Dana, the manager, is incredible and super sweet!! The staff here are excellent and managed to handle our collective anxiety issues about dental work really well. Polluck is also an incredible doctor and listened to all of our concerns.

I find FIDB warm and courteous. Cindy was careful and changed to a different cleaning method to accommodate my very sensitive teeth. Everyone was gracious to me even thought I was late to the appointment. I would recommend this dentistry practice.

Under new ownership / management results in a far superior than previous experience, from thorough and professional dental hygienist to expertise of the dentist. Its not always good news, but options are thoroughly discussed and all tools are made readily available to understand why, what, when care is needed.

I called Bear Peak Dental and spoke to Allison regarding a cracked tooth. Allison was awesome at getting me in ASAP me in to see Dr Sun! Everyone there made me feel so comfortable and my tooth was great when it was all said and done. Ill be taking my family to Bear Peak Dental from now on. Thank you Allison because you were the front line at helping make this choice!

I went for the $59 special which actually didnt exist. They ended up billing my insurance for 100% of services (and apparently I required more than what their $59 special would have covered). While Cindy gave, possibly, the best teeth cleaning I have ever had - a true perfectionist - which was so appreciated, I will be going elsewhere.

I highly recommend this place! The staff is very accommodating, gentle and personable. I had to switch dentists about two years ago due to a change in insurance, and after having seen my previous dentist for 20+ years I was a little nervous; especially because I have very sensitive teeth. After multiple cleanings, getting some old fillings replaced and receiving my first crown here, Ive been incredibly pleased with them. They are good about getting cost estimates for procedures before you schedule an appointment, and Ive never felt pressured to get anything done.

I’ve never been one to enjoy going to the dentist, but coming here is a different experience. The staff are very welcoming, professional, fun, and knowledgeable. Double high five to Cindy for being so caring and positive. She gets me pumped for hygiene!

From the front desk staff to the hygienist to the doctor, everyone here makes sure you are well taken care of! Dr Stephanie and Raul were thorough and kind and their awesome hygienist Cindy was able to remove orthodontic glue I had leftover from braces 20 years ago!

I hope for everyones sake that they experience a happy and satisfied experience with Family Implant and Dental. I did not. Make sure each time you have a procedure (cleaning or more) you communicate with the accountant to absolutely ensure the individual they choose from their Staff is in fact a person formally registered with the Insurance company. Dont assume since the name of the of the office (such as Family Implant and Dental or Dentistry of Colorado, etc) shows up on your Insurances Provider or In Network List, that work provided by this Providerwill be accepted. The name of the attending Dentist or professional must be specifically noted in the Insurance contract. Also, I suggest you have a written agreement (verbal ones dont work) signed by your Dental Provider that with the understanding that you only want procedures done that are covered under your plan. No exceptions! This way a satisfying and happy financial relationship can result. Most people have enough anxiety about dental work, they certainly dont need transactional ambiguity and distrust as well!

Great little office. Very personal attention to detail from Amy at the front desk. Were struggling to get a dementia patient prepared to accept artificial teeth The staff and docs have been very helpful and patient with us

They recommended 2 crowns last December. Got the work done, signed a treatment plan with the costs and paid those costs. Two months later received a bill for almost $800 because they billed my insurance incorrectly. Their office manager assured me via email that they were wrong and she would write off any remainder. Got the bill, called and the office manager no longer works there- sent proof of the email and was promised accounts receivable would sort it out. They called once, said they needed to contact my insurance, and have not returned ANY calls since in the last month. Got the bill AGAIN even though theres been no communication as to what they are doing about this. Ridiculous. The worst experience with billing and follow through and if I wasnt paying attention I probably wouldve overpaid by $800. I bet they bet that some people would.

I went in for a routine cleaning and they heavily pushed for root planing and scaling with antibiotics placed in infected gum pockets. I ended up going to a second dentist for a consultation and was informed that my gums were no where near needing that kind of a procedure.I was told that I had several pockets at 5mm. The second dentist couldnt find any that bad.

This has been a remarkably delightful experience. I am a “dental scaredy-cat “. From the first time I walked in to their calm, clean, relaxing environment to now Invisalign; I have been pleased with both price and service. All of the employees are pleasant not only with each other ( which is sometimes rare to find) as well as with clients. Having been 8 years since I had been to the dentist, there are amazing modern technologies that are now utilized and this was explained to me ever step of the way! They take the fear out of the event.I highly recommend Family and Implant Dentistry of Boulder.

I had a infected tooth and they got me in immediately without an appointment. They pulled the tooth. The dentist was just as great as she was on another one of my appointments.

I just switched offices because my last office made me seem like a number not a patient. When I came it the office was very nice I was greeted right away and Chastity made me feel real comfortable and understood all the things that I was concerned about. Dr Pollack took the time to meet me and explained everything in great detail to help make me feel good about moving forward with the treatment I needed. Ive only had good experiences here. They are always polite and friendly, offering water or tea. Ive had short waits and good service, with good explanations of procedures. They also made suggestions on procedures and scheduling to minimize my bill.

I went in just expecting a teeth cleaning, but I received comprehensive care and consultation for all of the issues I was having, including TMJ pain. Ive never had a dentist examine my jaw and symptoms so closely and I was provided with actual advice and treatment strategies for my TMJ pain. Highly recommend this dental practice to anyone seeking comprehensive dental care. You will feel valued as a patient.

While on a recent weekend in Boulder I had a dental emergency. Argh, always at the worst time! After reading the reviews for Dr. Pollack and her team I left a voicemail, which the doctor herself returned despite being after hours. She arranged for me to be seen the following day, first thing in the morning. Her staff, including Dr. Stephanie, couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and responsive. They fixed me up in under an hour and I was back to our family fun out and about.I wish I could take them all back to Boston!Simply the best.

The service I received at Family Implant and Dentistry is flawless. Pam, at the front desk, is always cheerful and ready to help, and the hygienists and dentists are very knowledgeable. I will be attending Family Implant and Dentistry for a long time.

Great staff! The hygienist, Mary Elaine, took wonderful care of me. Both the doctor and the hygienist gave me tips about how to care for my teether. I recommend their in-office insurance plan if you dont have dental insurance already.

I was at Bear Peak before the practice was sold and had an amazing experience. One day I showed up for an appointment and it was all new people. I have had no problem with the dentists that have seen me. However, I have had problems with other staff. The hygienist was so rude and degrading about my teeth that I went out to my car after the appt and cried. She shamed me for using a flossing tool that had been recommended by Bear Peak. She bragged to the dentist about having already lectured me on how to floss better. She also pressured me into getting a treatment to my teeth done saying it would cost a lesser price then it actually did. I decided to give them another chance as I had loved Bear Peak so much but when I went to get the recommended fillings the dental assistant was the final string. She finished my fillings and was yanking painfully on my teeth. At one point she was pulling so hard that her tool caught my lip and cut it. I had to yell out to get her to stop and she was unapologetic. I have never had an experience like this with another dentist or hygienist. I was told to contact them back if I was still experiencing pain a few days later. I experienced pain in that tooth for a couple months after but never called back due to not wanting to have to deal with the staff again.

Ive been going to Bear peak Dental for a while and am very pleased with the new Drs. Im glad to see Maria the assistant is still there. She has always made my visit very pleasant. This office is very clean and everyone is very accommodating.

A great place to get your dental work done, great service, highly recommended. Didnt have to wait long. Georgina had great personality and good service. Not to shabby for a free clinic. Will be returning.

Family & Implant Dentistry of Boulder always takes excellent care of my teeth. The employees are friendly and thoughtful.

It was the best experience Ive had at a dental office. They were very punctual and explained what I needed for treatment. Maria was very helpful getting me scheduled for my treatment.

Mistakes were made for my dads case. Things were done in a hurry, not enough attention was given to the complexity of what the patient needed, too many offices opening at the same time. While I personally like Dr. Pollack and while she maybe a great dentist, my dads case fell through the crack and poor judgement has led to him having trouble with his implants over a year later.This is so disappointing, the whole process has cost way more money and TIME that is not recoverable.Dr. Pollack should have never accepted this case since it was too complicated and based on what we have learned, it required a lot more attention to details that were given. She was opening so many shops at that time, and was spread so thin. I hope things have settled down by now.She did provide a partial refund, 1/4 of the total paid, but it nowhere makes up for the time and pain my dad went through and is still going through.The implant system she uses is not good at all and the other docs we have seen have stated that is old and outdated.Given all of that, I would do my due diligence on how complicated the case is and how things have settled down. I think for straightforward cases, the price and care is good, but complicated cases should be taken elsewhere which could cost double elsewhere.
