Ive been going to the Boulder Parlour for over 15 years and love this place! I had an appointment last Wednesday and I called to inform my stylist that I was running 5 mins late and it turned out that my appointment was no longer on the calendar. I was coming from Denver and voiced some frustration and the women on the phone with me went above and beyond to get me an appointment within the hour! Cant thank the receptionist and stylist enough for making my day! Thanks Boulder Parlour- you all are the best!

I have been going to The Parlour for years and I have nothing negative to say about this place, I love it! Welcoming, professional, and super great at what they do. I’ve been going to Rachel and there are no words! She is beautiful inside and out and makes me feel the same way when I leave!! I won’t trust my hair with anyone else!

Love Shaun. He does thoughtful color and gives great recommendations on everything from cars to restaurants. Spoke to the owner on the phone, who couldn’t have been nicer or more positive.

Seriously one of the best cuts Ive ever had. Celia is incredible. She tailors the cut to your head and bone structure so immaculately, that you leave with a cut thats better then the picture you bring in. I get compliments almost every day. Celia is incredibly skilled and the whole staff is just rad. Really love this place

Ive been taking my daughter to see Vanessa for her last several haircuts. We have loved the style every single time. Vanessa is patient with our kiddos thick hair and the attentiveness to detail with the style is impressive. She seems to give the same care to a childs cut as she would an adults, and the results show. Thank you for the attention to detail and giving the best haircut every time!

They will take temp at the door and will ask you to wait outside on 87 F weather expecting that the temperature lowers. I had to leave after 20 minutes wait in unbearably hot weather. Makes no sense. I took my temperature right when I got home and it was fine. I understand that you have to be careful right now, but you also need to use common sense.

Fantastic place! Heather is a miracle worker who transformed my hair into something truly stunning!!! Awesome atmosphere, great staff, stellar service, and complimentary drinks (even wine)! Whats not to love? :)

This place is way more than your typical salon. Its an experience. They have customer service down pat for sure. They offer beverages (including beer, wine, coffee) for free while youre waiting or your color is processing. They give a great scalp massage when you get shampooed. Also the owner and all the employees are so nice and pleasant. The vibe in the place is very positive. Ill definitely be back. The stylist I used was Heather and she was great!

Done with this place. When Ashley did my hair 2 months back, I left happy and feeling pretty. I came back for the same procedure, learned that Ashley left and the new chick that did my hair worked like a robot. Everything was different. She didnt bother to even brush my hair before applying color. I sat with color for a good 55 min, and last time I only had to do 20 min, and I did all over! My hair is now so dry, frizzy and the color is looking awful - I asked for all over black. How can it be difficult to do all over black color?? I should have done it myself. When I came home my husband even said WTF did she do to your hair. It was terrible. She also charged me twice what I paid before, and even cheated on the tip!!! WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN.

I love the visit, Valeria is a great hair stylist. When i walk in i feel welcome and she is always asking how im doing and if i need anything. She is great at her job giving suggestions and that i feel is amazing.

Celia is truly a master at her craft! Whether a cut, blowout, or color treatment, her work is magical. Ive referred numerous people to her and every one of them came back to me in gratitude, and have since been loyal clients of hers. I followed her to The Parlour from the last salon she worked at....she is passionate and confident and I recommend her to men and women with long or short, straight or curly hair. Very cool place to get a 5 star cut and color. The price is steep but worth it! The interesting part about the Parlour is that apprentice students fresh out of beauty school are training under serious expert stylists that actual do the cut and color. This is a lively high-end environment with a good attitude I highly recommend it—everyone there seemed excellent.

Ive been coming to the Parlour for 5 years and I think its time I left them a review for all the fantastic haircuts. Elly is truly the best stylistIve had. She is always cutting my hair in new inventive ways yet keeping the conservative look I like. And to top it all off shes gives the best stressing releaving head massage while she washes your hair. I highly recommend this place!

Confession: I followed my favorite hairstylist to this salon. Once I find somebody awesome, I try to be faithful. :-)I came here for the first time to get my mom haircut before my first baby arrives. I had Celia, who I adore, and would recommend to anybody, without hesitation. The salon is beautiful, well-lit, clean and staffed by super friendly people. They have a selection of beverages to enjoy while you are pampered. The salon was pretty busy for a mid-day, mid-week appointment, but it wasnt loud or crowded. My appointment started a little late, but they called me well ahead of time to let me know and even offered me a different appointment time, in case starting late wouldnt work well for me.This may be my favorite haircut ever. Celia took my vague critera: Make it shorter, make it low maintenance, let me keep my ponytail and gave me exactly what I wanted: a cute, easy, fun haircut that looks and feels gorgeous. In my opinion, a really good hairdresser can take what you need and magically create what youve always really wanted. Thats Celia.Reasonable rates for haircuts, in my opinion. (Its not Great Clips, and thats a good thing.) Easy to book online, if you hate the phone. :-) 5 stars, would recommend to a friend!

I am a client of Celia Skerritt at The Parlour. When I came to Celia I was literally losing my hair due to a health issue. Celia not only helped me regrow my hair, she is an amazing stylist. The Parlour has a very friendly atmosphere and I feel like I get the royal treatment when I am there. I highly recommend The Parlour and I am so happy that Celia is in such a wonderful environment.

Updated Review: I have been seeing Heather for 4 years now. She is the kind of stylist you search for your entire life and once youve found her, you dont let anyone else touch your hair again. Shes gotten to know me so well, I only have to go in and show her a picture or explain what I want for maybe 30 seconds or sometimes even just gesture vaguely and tell her to make it look good and thats that. I can just relax because she always does a flawless job. Yes, shes expensive. I make room for the expense in my budget because the perfect haircut does so much to elevate your look. If getting your hair done gives you anxiety, go see Heather and she will take care of you.Also gotta love The Parlours online scheduling. Super easy. Will never go anywhere else!Original Review 2014: I drove from Denver to Boulder because my friend recommended Heather as a great stylist who specializes in red color. My friend always has gorgeous color so I took her word for it.Heather was fantastic. She gave me the EXACT cut and color I wanted and spent time talking with me beforehand to make sure we were on the same page.Ive gotten so many compliments on my hair. I will be making the 45 minute drive to see Heather every month from now on because I cant live without this color. I really cant recommend her enough.

This place has everything you would ever want or need in a salon! It gives the feel of a Bougie Boulder Salon, without the terrifying prices. Rachel Fox is a miracle worker. She understands what I NEED and is full of advice for my own at home hair care routine. I have been searching for the right salon in Boulder since I moved here four years ago, and THIS IS IT! I have honestly ended up paying the same price at Boulder Great Clips (once you include their add-ons) for what I receive every time at Parlour, but with with better quality.

I followed Celia S to the Parlour from her previous salon. She is incredibly talented and creative. If you give her a vague guidline (undercut, perm, red hair, pink hair, whatever), she will run with it and make you look beautiful. Also, she works with you and asks the right questions so that she can get out of you what you actually want. I always have fun here and will always recommend it.

The location is nice, and they validate boulder parking garage. The Parlour in Boulder is hands down one of the warmest and brightest places to go. They offer beverages while you wait, the staff is great, and I really appreciate that they continually are investing themselves in their craft. I go to Chelsey Beck every couple weeks because this place is part of my self-care. My friend and I joke that its hair chair therapy because you leave feeling shiny and attractive. Chelsey does great mens cuts and I have referred my female friends who have had color, styling, and cuts and they loved her too. P.S. great coffee place right next door too!

Craig and Chelsea are both fantastic! The price runs a little steep but Ive never been disappointed. Does really well with blonde highlights and perfect job on adding volume to my flat and brittle hair. Chelsea is very social and really engages with you. Missing the Parlour now that Im living in Australia.

I have tried several salons in Boulder, since moving here 2.5 years ago and have not found anyone that would do my hair the way I wanted until I found The Parlour! I am very picky about my hair, especially with the highlights. Shannon highlighted my hair, perfectly. Chelsa cut my hair, perfectly too. I am very happy to have found this place. Everyone there was friendly and happy. I got a really good vibe when I walked in too. Not sure why others said they waited so long...must have been the stylist they used. My appointment was on time, even a little early since I arrived early, and it was late in the day. I highly recommend this salon, see Shannon Moore for a color, she is fabulous! I FINALLY found someone that knows what the heck they are doing! Shannon and Chelsa thanks for making my day!!

Ive been getting my hair cut at The Parlour for something like 10 years now. The last several of those years have been in Chelsa Joys chair. Her creativity in hair styles and color (Im currently sporting peacock-colored highlights) is superb. My hair is a little funky, with waves and random wiry hairs. Chelsa doesnt just tame it... she gives me a unique style every time I come through that compliments my face and personality!It has been 3 years since I posted the above review. Chelsa is no longer at the Parlour, and I no longer go there since they lost the person who was able to dial my hair in just so.
