Best place to get help after a car accident, very friendly and knowledgeable team.

I was in a wreck in November and I have gotten massages before but not like this. COMPLETELY affordable out of pocket if you just want some therapeutic massages on your own. No other massage location has compared to this. BJ, the owner, is very nice and cares a lot. I get the vibe from everyone who works there that they are happy and caring. Lynnea (spelling?) is super nice and great conversation when waiting for the massages. If youre going to invest in anything, invest in your mental and physical health. This location has done the best at doing both for me. I plan to continue even after Im healed :)

I had an issue with frozen shoulders for so long. I tried PT, cortisone shot, acupuncture and so on. They all gave me temporarily relief, but the stiffness and pains never went away until I found BIH. Little by little, my condition got better and after 6th visits, I got enough strength and flexibility to go back to exercise routine. My ROM is now back to normal. For me, the massage worked the best.

If your insurance covers PT but not MT, beware that they cannot file a claim under PT code.Ive been to Lake Washington Wellness in Redmond in the past and had my prescription massage covered by insurance, so I wasnt expecting a surprise when booking appointments at Bothell Integrated Health. Turns out the Redmond place filled their services under PT massage therapy and BIH files claims under non-physical therapy code, which some insurances explicitly exclude from coverage. Hence, I suddenly have to pay hundreds of dollars for the services rendered, which I learned AFTER getting the service.For the therapists in BIH, Ive seen J.Pratt, M.Kirika and Ch.Hamstra. I recommend M.Kirika, the others were not effective and left me feeling unbalanced by working too much on one side of my back only.

I suffered two herniated discs in my lower back. This was the most severe of my multiple back injuries over the previous ten years. I was incapacitated.BJ Erkan of Bothell Integrated Health took me as a patient and began to work wonders on my back. He also educated me about the possible causes of my repeated back injuries. At one point, in my 20s, I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and was advised to give up strenuous activity. BJ gave me another option. He manipulated my psoas muscle, of which I wasnt previously aware, and gave me extension exercises to offset chronic psoas contraction.I am currently 56 years old and white water canoe, backpack extensively, and even play competitive ultimate frisbee. None of which would be possible, I believe, had I pursued surgical remedies vs the treatment and education provided by Bothell Integrated Health.To be sure, the psoas massage wasnt very pleasant, but it changed my life. Thank you to BJ Erkan and the other excellent therapists at Bothell Integrated Health.

If you are able to get an appointment with BJ its highly recommended! Although I am looking forward to more massage from this fabulous place with high standards of customer service and quality massage Im certain they are all great!

I think the front office staff must be abused or on high doses of sedatives. Have yet to find them remotely pleasant and the passive aggressive attitude they have when you walk in for an appointment and they stare at you instead of saying Hi. I dont know, maybe clients are just a distraction from the snacks in the kitchen?Feel bad for the clinicians since the front office is the first impression. I have considered going elsewhere.

Ive seen 3 massage therapist here after an auto accident. They have all been excellent. Skilled, knowledgeable, empathetic and encouraging. I leave with more mobility, less pain and stress.

Allene is wonderful. She knows I like deep tissue and trigger point massage and she really works on my knots to relax my muscles. It is amazing! I’ve also worked with other therapists there and they have all been great. Let them know the type of massage and pressure you like and they will match you up with someone just right for you. Very professional group.

After being in a rear end car accident I began to experience significant pain in my neck and lower back. The pain was so disruptive it made it difficult to make it through my work each day. The staff at Bothell Integrated Health worked to get me in that day which was a god send. Throughout my treatment I worked with several massage therapists and can say that they do a fantastic job, and truly work wonders. Thanks to Bothell Integrated Health I am able to do all my regular activities pain free.

I went here twice for treatment of a foot injury prescribed by my podiatrist. Gwen seemed a little tired and not into massage – very light. Mike was wonderful but was out sick two weeks in a row. The first time the office called and left a message in the morning of the appointment. Sorry, I work and didn’t get the voicemail. Second time they called my sister to cancel an appoint she had with him for that same day. They never called ME to cancel. I phoned the office after receiving a bill that they sent to my sister. Patty in the office is a horrible, overbearing and argumentative shrew that kept talking over me. I was so hot I called her the “B” word – I have no intention of ever going here again and do not recommend it. My sister and I have moved to Mill Creek Massage – much better, more professional and also Regence contracted providers. Sorry, Bothell Integrated Health – Patty has ruined your business.

Our whole family has been getting massage at this clinic for years. I rarely write reviews but have to about this one. Rarely do I find a place that offers great service, wonderful care, totally cool people, and excellent insurance billing and handling, but this is the place. They are tops in my book on all levels. I highly recommend them!

I found BJ and his amazing staff through my occupational therapist. Its been a little over a year and I cannot explain my gratitude in the level of expert massage care and therapy Ive received from BJ. Ive been treated for severe thoracic outlet syndrome, after back surgery and now after a car accident and significant lateral whiplash. I wouldnt be able to stand, work and have as great a quality of life without such great care. The office staff is extremely professional. The times I had to book with another therapist ,Jennifer was fantastic!

I’ve been able to resume my normal routine, including killer Spinning classes at the gym, all due to the massages I’ve been getting at Bothell Integrated Health. They’ve also taught me several very easy and doable stretching exercises that I do every day to help loosen my back and I feel great! The entire staff including the receptionists, are friendly, professional and efficient. My schedule is difficult and I often have to ask for multiple appt. times or need to change an existing appt. and they are always polite and patient dealing with me. I’m very thankful for my experience at BIH. I came initially with a shoulder injury. I found all the therapists helping me were well-trained with massage and muscular/skeletal anatomy. They used their understanding and experience strategically, in a direct, gentle, and comforting manner, so my shoulder could heal. My shoulder is now better than before the injury.It’s better because the therapists also found where stress was locking my body up in tight muscles and tissue. They used massage to wake these areas up, so the stress could be released and my muscles freed from the tension. As a result, my body feels much more open and free. There is a discomfort associated with stress being released back into the body, but it’s worth it for the short term because the overall effect is that I feel much more pleasantly relaxed within myself.I look forward to seeing many of the therapists during this upcoming year. Each of them find different areas of stress within my body. Each has different approaches and techniques as they work with the same area of stress. The collective experience of working with all of them is much more beneficial than just seeing one, even if that one therapist was excellent.Thank you, BJ and Patty, for assembling such a wonderful team.
