Everyone at the front desk is always pleasant! When I recently had my children switch over they were so helpful and patient with me,and answered all my questions never got an attitude no matter what time of day!! I would refer my doctor and this office to everyone!!!

Visit took 3hrs during which Dr Lyons interacted with me for all of 15mins. It was like she couldn’t remember anything about me & hadn’t even glanced at my chart. Very rude & dismissive. It’s a shame, because she made the pap relatively painless which can be difficult to find.Additionally, after the visit we entered a month long game of phone tag. I received multiple foreboding voicemails insisting I had an urgent health issue - including one that came after 10pm! When I finally got through, turns out she was stressing me out because I had overwhelmingly normal test results but she wanted to be sure and follow-up anyway. Do not go if you have a chronic illness or any mental health concerns. She’s very busy and won’t care.*the front desk staff were very helpful & professional, as were the medical assistants & phlebotomist

Great providers who give amazing care, have never had any issues here, wish they had better customer service reps. Can sometimes be very unprofessional and rude when you call to schedule.

Very disappointed. I am probably the longest active patient they have. I have been going to Fam Med for me and my 20 year old daughter and 17 year old sons health care since 1997 6 months after it opened. Unfortunately I am looking for another clinic for me and my daughter. F.M had always been the reason why I kept returning to BMC even after figuring out that there were so many other better options in Boston. When I found out they were moving from the main building I thought it would be a upgrade. Sadly it looks like a welfare office. A bathroom is almost in the waiting area with the door open so everyone can see the dirty conditions. There are 2 random ppl behind a clear plexy glass divider. The patient exam room look like stark prison cells. Such a step down. I went once for my sons physical but have put off my daughters and mine for a year now because Im so disappointed.

Very poor service. You will be seen by your doctor 40 to 90 min after your appointment time, If you are lucky. That happens everytime. Also when tried to book an appointment it always takes two weeks wait time to get it. I am changing my doctor somewhere else.

******LGBTQ WARNING****I AM A TRANSGENDER FEMALE AND BECAME A PATIENT HERE FOR MY PRIMARY CARE NEEDS. ON MY FIRST VISIT I GOT DEAD NAMED AND MISGENDERED 4 TIMES! EACH AND EVERY TIME I COMPLAINED TO THE STAFF AND EVEN THE DOCTOR.. SHE.SUGGESTED I CHECK OUT FENWAY FOR MY MEDICAL NEEDS!?!? LOL WHAT!?!? I COULDNT BRING MYSELF TO COME BACK. PLEASE USE YOUR GAY INSURANCE AND $ TO GO ELSEWHERE! OH YAI PLAYED PHONE TAG WITH SOMONE IN PATIENT ADVOCACY FOR A FEW TWIRLS OF THE MERI GO ROUND BEFOREI GAVE UP!
