Doctor Brinegar and his staff are great! They are professional and so nice that it is a pleasure to get your eyes checked and buy your new frames and lenses there. Lots of great frames to chose from. Dr. Brinegar is very thorough while being a friendly and humorous guy. It’s fun to talk with the doctor about lots of things, not all eye related.

Great experience from beginning to end. Brittany was professional & quick as she did intake. Dr Brinegar did a very thorough eye exam & tweaked my prescription; I appreciate the time he takes to explain results and discuss options. Erika was knowledgeable, helpful and very patient as she helped me pick out frames. I’ve worn contact lenses/glasses for 40 years and Brinegar Eye Care is definitely the best!!

They’re also really good about finding frames I might like. And of course the exams are also thorough and friendly. 🙂

Brinegar Eye Care is wonderful! Dr. Brinegar is a light-hearted man who makes me laugh and I always feel that I am in very good hands. The front office and all assistants are very nice and helpful. As usual, the staff was pleasant and efficient. I was extremely impressed with their Covid procedures. They went to great lengths to make sure that no two patients were in a room together at any time. The doors are locked to walk-ins, appointments only; and everything including the ink pens are sanitized!

Probably the most fun I’ve ever had at an eye doctor appointment! Dr. Brinegar is hilarious.m! He’s also an excellent doctor and listened closely to my concerns. He managed to find that I was over corrected in one eye and he’s having me back for an additional test before he fills my new prescription. I’ll definitely look forward to coming back as long as I’m in Bloomington!

Additionally, when I first saw him 9 years ago, he sent me to see my doctor about my high blood pressure, which required immediate attention. (I am probably alive today because of him.)

Dr. Brinegar has handled regular eye exams, emergency visits, recommended procedures, corrected eye health issues, and even suggested no glasses or corrections at all when necessary.
