Been coming here since our children, now parents in their own right, needed wisdom teeth out or other oral surgery. My own experience has been as uncomplicated and with excellent outcomes whether for a simple removal of a clot in my mouth or much longer involvement for implants. Not reflective of this particular group, but I could wish dental costs and dental insurance coverage in general would be friendlier to the pocketbook!

Everyone was friendly and attentive. Very efficient. I was done quickly. My original appointment was scheduled for November. They called when they had a cancellation. I was pleased with the whole situation. They explained every step.

Excellent service throughout the whole experience! Customer service went above and beyond helping with insurance needs. I was greeted kindly by the front desk. Dental Assistants helped me relax, were upbeat, and very knowledgeable with my care and after care. The dentist made me feel comfortable. He explained all I needed to know, was caring, and gentle. Although the experience of surgery on severely impacted wisdom teeth was not fun, the entire staff was excellent. I highly recommend.

The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Pliski is wonderful. He put in 2 implants and removed a wisdom tooth. Everything healed great! I highly recommend them.

The staff at South Central Oral Surgery were pleasant, helpful, professional. Dr. Howell saw my 93 year old mother the next day after being referred there by Dr. Elaine Coghlan. Dr. Howell was kind and successfully removed an implant that had become infected. Mom recovered nicely from procedure. Well done!

Everyone was very nice which made me feel welcome and relaxed. Dr. Pliske was very good at listening to me and assured me I would feel no pain which I did not. He worked with me to come up with the best plan for my situation which actually cost him money so he put his patient’s need ahead of his gain. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

The surgeon did a great job and it was smooth and easy the morning of surgery. I do wish the staff had been more friendly and tried to talk to me some and calm my nerves. It would’ve been nice for some small talk while waiting for my procedure.

I walked in with my referral from Coghlan for a one tooth extraction. This was a Wednesday, my braces appointment was the following Tuesday.Originally there wasnt any available appointments for several weeks, but the woman helping me got me in the very next day!!I am very grateful, the extraction was quick and easy and I got my braces on as scheduled.

I was always greeted cheerfully and never had to wait long. My procedures were explained carefully and clearly the costs also and any questions I had answered even during the procedures altogether the best possible experience for having a tooth pulled and a post inserted.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I happened to forget my referral and instead of making me leave and come back, they were able to call the Dentist to retrieve it for me. The surgeon was nice as well and very informative about everything I needed to do post-surgery. Still recovering, but so far so good!

I needed Mandibular Tori Surgery and searched out different Oral Surgeons. Dr Pliske and his staff was definitely my best choice. From the moment I walked in the door for the surgery to them helping me into my vehicle after, they were so compassionate and caring. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services!!

I was treated with courtesy and respect. Although I was late due to construction, etc., no one gave me the feeling of being rushed.

They were great! I was going to try to make it to my actual appt. date then all at once everything just turned to the worse. I called them and they got me in right away. He did what he needed to and was understanding about it. They were all really polite.I will definitely be sticking with them!!!

Everyone very nice, I had 4 teeth removed with no pain ,in and out in 15 min.

Nice, clean environment, staff was sweet, Dr was gentle all n all good experience he didnt want me to come back just to get 4 teeth pulled so did both the first appointment and the extraction all in one setting . The numbing part was the worst part but then after I was good n ready he was back to start the extraction in a timely manner took 10 minutes or less to pull all 3 and a partial tooth that had broke off prior to the appointment which was the reason for the removal . The only complaint I had was the Dr didnt give me a heads up on the numbing needles causing so much pain I had to ask him will this hurt. Other then that if their was a scale weather I would recommend the Dr 1 being absolutely v not 10 being most definitely I would say 10 would be my rating best dental experience I ever had hands down.

Good environment and the nurses and staff were very polite and the dentist was very polite and straightforward and explained very well about what was going to be done. But not leaving me wondering after I left. I stil have a surgery set up so after that I will leave another review on how that went.

This team was able to get me in quickly when I broke my cap off. The handling of the appointment was efficient and friendly. The extraction of all of the pesky/painful roots was quick and as painless as possible. No adverse events after.

After multiple failed procedures at an under-qualified dentist left my mouth in a terrible mess and one of my front teeth missing, Dr. Pliske and his staff worked near miracles, transplanting bone from a different area in my jaw, grafting tissue, and repairing the damage all while encouraging and comforting me through the process. Thanks to them Im getting my smile back. I only wish I had found South Central Oral Surgery sooner!

Great job. Had a root canaled tooth pulled that had cracked. Was in the chair less than 30 minutes. I was told the tooth was brittle and came out in pieces. I took 2 Tynenol when I got home. Used the guaze pad pressure for the rest of that day as I take aspirin daily for another issue. Really had no discomfort that night all. Next day only had to concentrate on not eating on that side as I had no discomfort at all. Also had a great numbing experience. Was not as extreme as I have had with other experiences in the dental chair, no slurring of words or slobbering of water.

I had a wisdom tooth that needed to come out and dr Pliske pulled in within a matter of minutes and I didn’t feel it at all. I highly recommend them

I had a bad infected tooth started on a Friday suffered through weekend couldnt take the pain went to the er who werent much help. I called around Monday and got an appointment for Dr. Pliske to evaluate me that afternoon, the office staff is very professional and knowledgeable and Dr. Pliske is simply great took the bad tooth out that day didnt feel a thing... if you are need of an oral surgeon I would highly recommend South Central Oral surgery!Update I had another tooth get infected and wound up with about a 2 week wait to see my dentist so I went to a walk in clinic for antibiotics the tooth pain didnt let sleep much over those 2 weeks even with clove oil. But once I saw my dentist he said he would have to recommend me to an oral surgeon after seeing the abscess on my xray so I ask to be referred to Dr. Pliske as luck would have it that is where referres patients. I got in much sooner than expected thanks to a cancelation Dr. Pliske got out the tooth and abscess in no time flat, he is one of the best oral surgeons around he and his staff are in my opinion top notch again I would highly recommend South Central Oral Surgery if you need an oral surgeon.

My dentist called Dr. Howell to see if I could get in the next day to have one of my molars pulled. This was on a Thursday and I needed to get in on that Friday. They actually worked me in on that Friday morning. This was great due to that we were leaving for a 6 week vacation on that Sunday.The entire staff was very nice, from check in to check out. I have not been treated so kindly from a facility before. Dr Howell and his assistant treated me very well. They both sat with me and talked to me before my extraction. Very kind. I really was impressed with the staff. On Saturday morning Dr Howell called me at home to check on me. Another very kind gesture. I hope I wont have to return but if I do, I will be going back to Dr Howell.

I have had to have two wisdom teeth extracted with South Central Oral Surgery. The second wisdom tooth was impacted. The procedure was so fast, and believe it or not- painless! I have had oral surgery by Dr. Howell and more recently took my son. My son had 3 wisdom teeth removed and some additional work. Dr. Howell and his staff are professional and helpful with questions regarding the procedure as well as insurance issues. Dr. Howell is really good at what he does and personable. He even followed up with a phone call to check on my son that evening. I would highly recommend him!

I’ve been there twice, both times for extractions, once in November 2019 and once in October 2020. Both times I was treated very well. The procedures were quick and as painless as could be. In fact, I will not allow anyone else to do an extraction if I ever have to go through it again.

David Howell pulled all for of my wisdom teeth. I told him I had lax joints and previous orthopedic surgery and he agreed to cut them out sparing my jaw the usual hardship of pulling them. I woke up in severe pain, tears. He told me girls cry when they wake up from anesthesia. For six months I was in severe pain and he kept telling me it was x or y he even prescribed anti depressants. I went for a consult in Indianapolis after seeing Dr. Pliske because Dr. Howell was out sick when he told me I had suffered facial trauma during the extractions (Dr. Howell never mentioned this). I had to have reconstructive jaw surgery with titanium. Every oral surgeon I consulted in Indianapolis said they had never seen someone injured like this before from tooth extractions. I’ve had reconstruction, two arthroscopic, and multiple arthrocentecis procedures and have permanent joint, cartilage, and nerve pain problems with migraines since my procedure with Dr. Howell whom kept insisting it was psychological. Do yourself a favor and go to IU Dental School or Indianapolis Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates. I got injured and landed in loads of medical debt which all started with having wisdom teeth extracted and years of chronic pain.

Great staff all so friendly got me registered quickly the wait was under ten minutes .doctor was nice too and quickly assessed the problem I had . They reached out to one of my doctors to make it safe for me to have the procedure I need. Very pleased with everyone involved.

This place is AMAZING! I am terrified of dentist offices due to horrible experiences so going in to get my teeth removed sent me into a panic attack but the nurses and both Doctors that I saw treated me like a human being instead of a paycheck and helped me relax! They took great care of me and I couldnt be more happy with my visits to them! 10/10 going to recommend them to anyone that needs oral work done!!

Very respectful and cautiously. I had to get two teeth pulled. I had been dealing with a infection and it was effecting my body. I was treated very understanding of my fears. Allowed me to play worship music to calm my nerves. When it came time to clean the infection after pulling my teeth out it became very painful! He paused and communicate with me and told me everything is going to be alright. Afterwards he also said I did a great job! Those words meant everything to me! Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Dr. Howell and his staff were great. I am a terror-tyke when it comes to pain. I have a very low threshold. They did all they could to make sure my experience was good. Im sure I was not an easy patientl.The only thing I found dissatisfying was my after care. They prescribed me a narcotic pain med. I can not take narcotics. I feel they should have asked me first. When you go to them for help, and you will because they are that good, be sure to ask if the after care pain med is narcotic.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth out, all at different positions and I felt perfectly fine the next day. Flawless procedure, receptionists were great. Can’t recommend them enough for wisdom tooth extractions.

Took my 17 year old son to Dr. Piliske to have his wisdom teeth removed. He started having problems on a Tuesday and they were able to get us in Friday morning. We were in and out a total of 45 minutes. They were very friendly yet very efficient and I greatly appreciate that. Dr Piliske himself also called on a Saturday night to check on him and see how he was doing. Overall it was a great experience.

Everything went according to plan. My 14 yr old was pretty nervous about the surgery but they allowed me to wait in the room with her while they sedated her. Dr. Howell and his staff were wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. It was a smooth and easy process.

It was an emergency situation. I was seen right away. They were efficient and kind. I was given clear instructions and written instructions to refer to later. They asked what other ?? I had and answered them clearly. The doctor even called me in the evening at home to see how I was doing. I dont think I could ask for anything more in my care.

I had my wisdom teeth removed last week by Dr. Starr and was very pleased with the whole experience. I was extremely nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Starr and his team took great care in explaining the procedure and answering any questions that I had. It went as smoothly as it couldve gone and both the procedure and recovery were relatively pain-free. As others have commented, the doctor also calls you a few hours after your procedure to check on you, which is really nice. I highly recommend Dr. Starr and South Central Oral!

I saw Dr. Pliski about having some wisdom teeth and a cracked molar extracted. I get extreme anxiety going to the dentist or oral surgeon due to a very bad experience when I was younger. Thankfully his staff assured me that he just wanted to have me come in so he could talk to me and explain what he was going to do. I went in and he was super calm, and explained the procedure to me and let me know that they would sedate me and answered any question I had. His staff was very nice and helpful as well. I would highly recommend their office!

Everything went well. They all made me feel very comfortable. The surgery was over and done with before I knew it.Will definitely use them again if needed.

Had a great experience each time my teenaged kids needed oral surgery. The staff was helpful from the time of scheduling the appointment to answering insurance questions to discussing the procedure. Dr. Starr was great. He was very through in making sure we knew what to expect and called the night of the procedure to check on my son. When questions came up on the weekend Dr Starr did not hesitate to call us back and make sure all of our concerns were addressed and told us to not hesitate to call back if need be. We were very pleased with the care and service our family has received.

Dr. Pliske is awesome! The staff are awesome. While I can’t say having a tooth pulled was a pleasurable experience, Dr. Pliske and his staff definitely made me comfortable during the process.

The Staff and Dr Pleske were fantastic! Dr Pleske pulled a Lower abscessed tooth and I did not realize he had it out when I was told “all done”. I have NOT had any pain or swelling since the removal. I am thrilled with the service I received from South Central Oral Surgery and will recommend them to all my friends.

Ive had Very Good Experiences with Timothy Pliske and his Team goes out of their way to make you comfortable and informative about procedures.I personally wouldnt hesitate to refer anyone to have their dental procedures done anywhere else when The Best are Here .The Recptionist up front to the dental chair , cleanliness , payment booth to the Exit door in about a30 to 40 minutes for extractions you cant even get any better !! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ RATING FROM ME

These guys are the best. Ive had Dr. Pliske and my appointment last week was with Dr. Howell. I had a tooth extraction, went amazing, never even needed an Advil. They got me in as quickly as they could as I had a broken tooth, major ache.I cant thank them enough. Dr. Howell personally called me that evening to make sure all was well with me.A+++++.The only place I will go. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Starr and the team at South Central Oral Surgery were fantastic! My son had all four wisdom teeth removed over spring break. He was super nervous before surgery and they were all so patient and kind, answering his multitude of questions. When he wasnt coming out of the anesthesia normally, he fainted, they took their time to make sure he was okay. If I ever need oral.surgery in the future, I will definitely be using SCOS.

Very caring people with this covid-19 virus going on and everything shutting down I had to reschedule my appointment for May 22nd 2020. We’ll my teeth started hurting I called and they were able to get me in early. I had 6 teeth extracted April 28th. I was put under the iv didn’t hurt at all going in and they explained everything I had questions about and they called me later that night to make sure everything was ok. They even have a 24/7 call line where the dentist will call you back can’t get much better than that this is the only place I will go to get my extractions done
