This has by far been the BEST dental experience ever and unfortunately I have been to quite a few dental offices in town, BUT they were bad corporations. From the hygienists to Dr. V, AMAZING! Staff was very concerned for my wellbeing during Covid-19. I was directed to sit in a specified area so that I would be at least six feet away from anyone else in the waiting room. My temperature was checked almost as soon as I sat down. I was required to wear my mask until I was in the exam room, and then I was given a hydrogen peroxide rinse to use before the exam began. I felt very comfortable.

Had a regular teeth cleaning and checkup today. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly! Things went very quickly and I was very happy with the experience!

I had a bum tooth as a result of a root canal that was done 10 years ago and never got the crown put on it. Today I had to have the tooth extracted because the filling came out last year and it was time to say goodbye to it. The dentist was quick as could be. The tooth was infected so I did feel a sharp pain with the pressure, but it was out in no time. The techs were great, very nice, and conversational. I will come back again! Thanks!

I needed my top two wisdom teeth removed and a few fillings. I was terrified that I wouldn’t be sedated for the procedure because in the past when I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed I was put under. Dr. Melchor did a fantastic job! He was so polite and kept making sure I was numb the entire time so there was minimal discomfort. I’ve never looked forward to going to the dentist but I’d definitely recommend this office, all of the staff were kind and made my experience pleasant.

She was so sweet and friendly and made my experience better by taking into account how sensitive my teeth and gums are! I had been having a toothache for two days, and on the second day the pain was becoming unbearable. This occurred during the Covid-19 crisis and my regular dentist office was closed, but their message when you called said they were taking emergency patients and to leave a message and they would get back to you as soon as possible. I called them 3 times that day and never received a call back. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Verban. I called the number and it was around 5:15 pm on a Friday. Dr. Verban answered, I told him of my situation and he was kind enough to meet me at his office at 6:00 pm. He had called one of his assistants back in and he greeted my wife and I just as if I was the first patient of the day, very kind and professional. I was taken care of and was not rushed out of the office. I thank Dr. Verban and his assistant for helping me in my time of need in an emergency situation.

McLean County Dental is by far the best dental office I have been to. From the moment the hygienist Ashton took me back I felt confident in my care. She explained to me what she was doing and what she saw that needed attention. Ashton did a great job explaining how to properly care for my teeth. She did a great job being cautious of any sensitive areas that I had and she did a great job making sure I felt that all areas had been adequently cleaned. When Dr. Bins came in the room he was very warm and welcoming as well. He was very professional. Ashton did a fantastic job relaying the information she had found. Dr. Bins was amazing at talking to you as a person and not at you. He made sure you knew what exactly he was saying and understood your plan of care. I am confident in my dental health and understand how important it is now thanks to the help of Ashton and Dr. Bins. I will be going here for many years to come.

Dr. Verban rocks! His staff got my daughter in right away when she was having tooth pain and found she had lost a filling. He replaced that filling painlessly and efficiently! He always cares about the patient and so does his staff. The best!!!

Ashton and Christie are amazing hygienists! I love seeing them when I go in. They both are diligent, mindful, and thorough. Not only are they great workers but they both are incredibly pleasant, funny, and extremely easy to work with! I typically see Dr. Verban as my dentist and he does a fantastic job. I have anxiety about getting “work done” with my teeth and he gets the job done quickly. I recently have had the pleasure of being examined by Dr. Bins. He is very informative, quick minded, and very funny! Also as an added bonus, everyone else on staff knows me immediately by name and they wish me a happy birthday on my birthday!

Then they asked if it was OK if they assigned a different hygienist to me and to reschedule my appointment. I’m confused I won’t be going back. The new girl was very nice though.

Dr. Emil Verban is a life saver!! My husband and I have been his patients for years. However, we never would have expected what happened on the late afternoon the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.Our Dad and stepmother arrived from Chicago to spend the holiday with us. Our stepmother was in pain due to what felt like was a tooth shifting back and forth in her mouth. Her outlook to eat a nice holiday meal was bleak, because she could barely chew.😩We took a chance and called Dr. Verban’s office even though it was almost 4pm. To our complete surprise, we were told to bring her to the office and that Dr. Verban would see her. WOW! Right?!? 😊Dr. Verban diagnosed her problem and repaired a loose implant. He spent almost two hours with her, while he had family guests arriving at his own home for the holiday!Our stepmother and Dad were in shock that they could come from out of town (Chicago) and not only get in to see Dr. Verban (who is not their dentist), but got the problem repaired giving her much needed relief!Our stepmother was able to enjoy our holiday meals and visit with our family without being in misery. Consequently, we are even more impressed with Dr. Verban due to his compassion, commitment, and willingness to help in this dire last minute situation particularly on a holiday’s eve!We highly recommend Dr. Verban and his staff. I drive 50 miles to visit Dr. Verban for all of my dental needs. I initially went to Dr Verban because he could perform not only general dentistry, but also perform more complex procedures, such as implants. I had a great cleaning prior to this particular visit & had heard nothing but great things about here.The staff was very friendly & respectful.But yesterday 7/27/18 I went in at 10:30am to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled my experience was horrible.They started on time & had made me feel really comfortable starting out.The 3 young ladies who were in there were so nice as well as the Dentist.They took a set of vitals on me, the doctor hooked the IV up to my left arm.I asked would I feel anything & they all assured me with the sedation I would not. I felt nothing but when he got to the last wisdom tooth on my bottom left side.I felt EVERYTHING...I instantly start crying in horror...The pain was indescribable.He kept telling me it was almost over.I have never in my life experience pain like that.If I had sedation, been numb etc....How did this happen? I walked out the office crying like a Baby.My sister was absolutely shocked. I will not be returning here...Ever! I had to share my experience because it was horrible & never shouldve happen like that.
