The dental hygienist was amazing! (I believe it was Emily) Engaged with my daughter throughout so she wouldn’t be nervous. Explained everything she was going to do before doing it. My daughter was terrified going in and was immediately calm when they started patiently chatting about school and fish. Dr. Hall was also great. He was was very thorough. Took the time to explain the issue and assure us. I would definitely recommend them. They’re great with kids.

Dr.Sara is just the best. She understands kids and works with them! When my son wiggled and moved - she would talk him though his filling to keep him calm and get it done. I wouldn’t take my kids to anyone else! The best!!

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They made my daughter’s first dentist appointment go so smoothly. They took the time to explain everything so well.

Dr Hall was great with my daughter. We had to do general anesthesia due to anxiety issues and the amount of work she needed done. Everything was clearly explained and it went very well. I highly recommend Dr Hall & the staff at Pediatric Smiles of Bloomington.

Our initial experience was great. The staff and Dr. Sara were very patient with my four year old, who is still refining his manners and ability to follow directions. Their instruction and explanations to me as the parent were clear and concise. I would highly recommend.

Super fast & efficient!My child was NOT happy with the process for removing cavities... But the doctor & staff were very supportive and positive. They were still able to be efficient with an opposing patient.

My soon to be 10 year old son goes here for his dental work. He recently had his first fillings, one on top and one on the bottom, and my son did so well! The dentist was impressed with how good my son was throughout his fillings. The dentist is very personable and that is important to me, it establishes a feeling of trust. My son had the laughing gas and he said he felt very relaxed throughout the whole process. He mentioned to the dentist at one point he felt some pain, but he never flinched possibly due to the relaxation of the laughing gas. Overall my son said it wasnt so bad, he has one more filling to do in a few months. It takes a month or so to get in to see the dentist but whos really in a hurry anyway, right? Lol

The staff was awesome and worked great with my daughter. The dentist was incredible and very child friendly. We look forward to our next visit

I used their services some time back. Appointments are hard to get and are months out. The service is pretty substandard and expensive. It was very difficult to understand the expenses. On top of that the fillings on multiple teeth fell of which their office dont consider as their fault and declined to fix. I will never do business with people who dont accept their fault and fix it. Only plus was their nurses and doctors were very polite.

My daughter is 4 and has been going here for two years and absolutely loves her dentist appointments!

The staff was very friendly. Dr and assistant were very professional and made my 5 yr old daughter feel so comfortable!! She had 2 cavities filled and we sat and watched the whole procedure!! After the procedure she was even rewarded with a prize. I loved every aspect and angle they went with helping to make this easier. I would highly recommend this facility!!

Both of my children go to pediatric smiles and we have seen both of the dentist at some point! I can not say enough good things about them. They are very attentive and thorough in their examinations and my children love it there. Everyone from the front desk to back were friendly! I would most definitely recommend this office.

Ive been taking my two boys, one is a special needs child, to Dr. Sarah for 5 yrs. Her and the staff there are wonderful and have been very accommodating and patient with my boys. I highly recommend.

I’ve never written a review before for anything, but after my young daughter’s experience with the dentist (Sara Dardis) at Pediatric Smiles in Bloomington, IL. I hope to save other families the pain and heartache we’ve experienced.The visit for a kid’s crown started off just fine - nice front desk folks and nice clean office.The procedure began – it is actually hard for me to write this and I’m shaking and still in shock as I type. After the ‘numbing’ shots, Sara started drilling and right away my daughter was in pain and began whimpering and crying. It escalated quickly.My husband and I kept telling Sara that this is not how she ever has been at the dentist before and that something is not right. We asked her to stop. Sara refused to listen and said that there is nothing she can do to make her feel better. She said it was just my daughter being nervous and she needed to get the procedure done. Sara said my daughter was “not really in any pain and we’d know if she was.” Unbelievable.My daughter was visibly shaking and screaming but they wouldn’t stop and the dentist kept saying she wasn’t doing anything that’d hurt her. It was obviously not the case, as I’ve never seen such terror in my child before. Our daughter was taught to raise her hand if anything hurt. She was trying to but the staff person just forced her hand down and held it. I felt (and was) absolutely helpless.Sara actually told my daughter, “stop crying - you are making your parents sad” while my daughter was screaming so loud in pain that another staff person came into the room to see what was going on. Sara then said she is just “going to rush through it so it is over with”.I had to step out of the room and ask for a glass of water because I thought I was going to faint and could hear her still screaming from the room to the front desk.There was no apology. We left, and it was my turn to cry.Sara did not listen, showed no empathy, and offered nothing to fix the problem in the future (other than “you can have her put under next time”).I truly believe Sara was just rushing through the procedure to collect her pay, and am broken hearted that this will negatively impact my daughter’s future view of dentists.I please urge you to consider options for a different pediatric dentist other than Sara Dardis. We’ll not be back.
