Had my first visit yesterday after moving to the area. This is the only place I will go for years. Ive been going to a variety of eye doctors since I was toddler and this was by far the best experience yesterday. Little to no wait time, and everyone was very friendly. I really enjoyed how thorough and comprehensive the exam was using new technology that made the visit more enjoyable (no more dilating). Dr. Kelly was great.

Competent professionals and friendly staff. Helped me to understand my diagnosis in laymans terms to make a better informed decision. Oh. And I love my new glasses. I bought 3 pairs. Everyday use, office / laptop use and polarized shades.

Fantastic experience. I haven’t had an eye exam since pre-covid…well, actually in about three years. I didn’t know what to expect. Add to that I found out my 11 yr old needed glasses. We went together and both had a wonderful experience. Yea, yea…there was masks and a little sanitizer (sigh), but that’s the “new normal” now right?We were greeted with smiles and welcomes. The Dr. was wonderful and treated my son and I with kindness and respect. He explained everything easily to us from our eye scans to prescriptions. Then the nice gal that helped us pick out frames was beyond awesome. She made both my son and I feel special. Her first picks were spot on. She also noticed things I would never have thought of when fitting frames. My son was nervous about being nerdy, being a first time glasses wearer…after her kindness and help, he’s super excited and can’t wait for our glasses to be picked up!!Like I said, I was last here about three years ago. I read some YELP reviews and was nervous that maybe things had changed over covid and the years…however my experience was 6/5 stars. Highly recommend and I hope your experience is as nice as mine was.

For 41 years Ive had perfect vision. Lately Id experienced some unusual changes when reading. First I went to vision works, in the mall-it wasnt a good experience and after the exam I was told I needed bifocals and that I had an astigmatism. The glasses were going to cost about $700.I decided I needed a second opinion and found Blaine family eye care online. This was a far superior experience. I actually talked to the doctor (it wasnt virtual) and he explained that there is a tiny astigmatism but nothing needing correction at this time. I found out that Im not nearsighted and am ever so slightly farsighted. He suggested I start with a pair of +.75 cheaters if Id like. They didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need and I found my doc and clinic- everyone was very pleasant and helpful!

I have been going to Blaine Family Eye Care for a few years. When we moved North-East, I sought a different clinic closer to home ... However Ive since returned to Blaine. Its WORTH every minute of the drive AND any out of pocket cost! The team is always so professional, friendly, polite, and work quickly too. Their COVID precautions are also exceptional - they are set up very well to handle their patients safely during these challenging times. Im forever grateful for this clinic and will not be going anywhere else as long as we live in MN!

I had my first eye appointment in probably a decade at Blaine Family Eye Care. From making the appointment through ordering glasses the process was quick, professional, and well managed with Covid. I loved picking out glasses with Tish, she was great! I looked around at glasses other places, but Blaine Family had the best selection and I ultimately ordered through them! Dr. Rodney was very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable! Facility was clean and covid-conscious. Cute Staff was incredibly helpful between helping find new frames and explaining the billing break down.

On October 15, 2020 I decided on Blaine Family Eye Care based on reviews alone for my eye exam. Im glad I did! They follow Covid-19 protocols for each of their patients (hand washing, cleaning after each patient, face masks, etc.). Dr. Kelly was great, personable, and professional. Kelly helped me pick the perfect frames since I was not able to take someone along with me for the visit (personal reasons). Although I was told 21 business days for my glasses to be ready, I was pleasantly surprised to have been notified less than a week later that they were ready! Kelly helped me with the fitting, and I was on my way. Unfortunately, they did not work for me after a few days of wearing them. I was recommended a new digital lens feature that my eyes refused to get used to. Blaine Family Eye Care was able to fit me in for a new eye exam within a few days of notifying them of my issue. After correcting my eye prescription without the new feature, I received my new lenses a couple of weeks later. Alex helped with the fitting to ensure they fit properly. They turned out perfect! I will not go anywhere else after going to Blaine Family Eye Care. Thank you!

I love Blaine Family Eye Care! I’ve been going to the eye doctor for 20 years and they are the first Clinic I’ve felt truly cared for and do a comprehensive eye check. I’ve had those mall Clinic doctors misdiagnose me and all sorts of issues, but this clinic is awesome! I recommend to anyone needing Eye care. The precautions they are taking during the pandemic are top notch!

I really appreciated the honest, specific feedback as I tried on various frames...and the patience of the clinic, as it took me a long time to figure out which frames I wanted (narrowed down between two excellent choices). They helped me find ones that are a perfect fit- I cannot wait until they are ready to pick up! Great experience all around.

I went to Blaine Family Eye Care to get an eye examine and got stuck with the rudist optician. He spent very little time with me snd needs a personality overhaul. But the best was when I received my new glasses in the mail. I opened the box they came in only to find broken frames, the lens was just sitting next to the frames not even attached. A screw was apparently missing that holds the lens in place. So this is what you get from Blane Family Eye Care. Poor service and broken frames.

The staff is extremely helpful with explaining our insurance benefits as well as going over various options with contacts and eye glasses. They also stay up to date with the latest technology to check for eye health and proper vision.

Great experience. My father doesn’t speak English and I went to translate and the amount of kindness & respect he got from the Dr. and Staff was amazing. Usually I go to a place and the staff is uncomfortable to talk to my dad because they can’t understand him and they would only talk to me and act like he’s not there. At Blaine Family Eye Clinic they directly spoke to him, made sure he understood and made him feel human. I was in the background witnessing how they treated him and my heart was so happy because I’m so used to staff rolling their eyes at him or using an annoyed tone of voice when they talk to him. The front desk lady with red hair was so sweet, kind and bubbly and the doctor was kind and professional as well!

Staff was wonderful. I am in a currently in a wheelchair, there was room for me move around without worrying about hitting something.

Doctors have a great personality, enjoy going when i need to. I have purchased my last 3 pairs of glasses there, getting safetly glasses next week. Everyone was very friendly and passionate with my particular case; I have terrible eye sight and migraines, so getting the proper care and opinions has helped a great deal both physically and financially.I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone and will continue to go here for all my eye care concerns.

Less than pleased, taking business elsewhere. I recently had an exam done. Doctor was great and had my hopes up. Next day I was informed my contacts were ready, little did I know it would be a week till I got them due to a training class I had no option of. Needless to say my glasses, old Rx, broke while at work and are much needed. They refused to expedite the process and wanted me to fix my glasses and still wait. Ill be taking business elsewhere after I physically have my contacts.

I moved our family to Blaine Family Eye Care a few years ago. It is closer to home and we love the DRs and staff. They are always friendly and extremely helpful.

Not good customer service. The eye exam was good and they made my son feel very comfortable. The issues arose after the exam was over and it was time to choose frames and coatings for the glasses. The sales associate made my wife feel like she was being cheep and worthless after she said no to transitions and anti glare coatings. Now remember these glasses are for my 12 year old son who has gotten new glasses two time in two years because his eyes are still changing. After my wife was pushed into buying the unwanted addons they left. In the end I have nice glasses for my son the fit well and look good.

Horrible customer service I was there to order glasses. The lady optician left to look up my medical benefits because I was ready to order. As I was waiting she decides to help some one else who just walked in. Keep in mind I had to wait 20 mins before she could help me. I waited for them to come back so I could order and leave. Needless to say I waited for 20 min and I walked out. What a waste of my time.

My family of six has been going to Blaine Family Eye Care for over five years. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the service we have received from them has been above and beyond any place we have gone previously!

I went into the optical shop yesterday to purchuse glasses and I had the worst customer service. The lady basically came over and pull a bunch of glasses of the brand I was looking at off the shelf and went back to the front desk and sat texting on her phone. Never asked if I wanted any help or did she offer any input on what look good on me! When I found the glasses I sat in front of her at the desk for 3 mins she never looked up from her phone because she was to busy texting! I will never return!!
