Feeling a little hipster and you want but groceries? Trader Joes is just for you! Amazing, creative foods with an international flare and sometimes amazing deals. Unfortunately, theyve gone more in the way of Whole Foods when it comes to the price tags. For example, they had things like $5 wine picks; high end overstock bottles were completely relabeled, so youll never quite know what youre getting beyond the grape but hey, 5 bucks! Anyhow, good luck finding anything below 5 bucks. If that and the smell of patchouli wont scare you away, head on in!

I love Trader Joes. What I dont care for is the crowds especially now that they have eased up on covid restrictions. The parking lot gets pretty crowded as well. Lucky for Trader Joes it gets crowded for a reason. The unique variety of foods they carry are in general really really good. They have an excellent variety of vegan foods as well which appeals to me quite a lot. Their staff are super helpful and fast.

They have the most beautiful and reasonably priced flowers. Its the best place to pick up flowers and wine. They also are cheaper than Publix. Its definitely a small grocery store and theyre always crowded on the weekends - checkout lines are literally down the aisles. Great place to grocery shop if you live in the area.

These little things are amazing! There doesn’t seem to be a decent farmer’s market to shop internationally. And this is the only Trader Joe’s ‘round these parts at The Summit. At $3 a box and a 15-20 minute drive…all signs point to worth it! Plus, The Summit has more to offer. Check them out!

Its was a good experience although when i got to the car and looked at my items the Sweater Weather sanitizer was half full. I had to go back in and exchange.

Trader Joes is a nice out of the ordinary store. Its a great place to pick up food to make a nice dinner, flowers, a bottle wine etc. There are very good if not great. Its a place you must check out and you might just become a regular.

Today I went to Trader Joe’s. I would give them an A+ for all their employees wearing masks properly. Also, employees were checking out quickly so customers would not be near each other for a long period of timeI would give an A for the customers because very few were in the store without a mask.

I was so impressed with how they followed CDC protocols for their customers’ safety. As always, their products are great quality and great price. I stocked up because I live two hours away.

For the uninitiated, like me, this place takes a little getting used to... but it’s worth it. They have their own brand or other weird brands... of lots of different items, but their prices and quality are second to none. If you buy something and don’t like it, just take it back for a full refund or exchange. Their flower selection is amazing and the prices for fresh flowers and plants can’t be beaten anywhere in the city. We grilled out steaks tonight that we bought today and they were terrific. The friendliness and customer service is amazing, as well. I’d highly recommend giving this store a try.

Popped in today for some sushi. This location does not carry sushi but that’s okay we picked up some other snacks. About half the employees are unmasked and most of customers are unmasked. When the man behind me in line literally breathed on my neck from less than a foot away, I turned around and said that I thought a price check was slowing this line and he might want to pick another one. He loudly said no thankssss and thankfully the lines moved up and I got the #*!% outta there. I then called the store and asked if they might be bringing back the floor decals from January. I was met with mildly irritated employee who clearly would prefer for me to shop at Publix. Can do!

My experience was okay, but just okay. It was actually my first time at a Trader Joes. I was there to pick up some specialty items. I was able to get two out of the four items we were looking for. When we headed to the checkout lines, it was backed up much worse than any Walmart Ive been to. They clearly need a bigger store. I doubt seriously I will ever return because of the amount of time it takes to just check out. They may not value my time, but I do.

They have beautiful flowers and plants here and for a great price. Love to come here for the Trader Joes brand cookies and cookie butter.

LOVE THIS STORE! The staff is always amazing- I especially like how they help take care of the kids happiness as youre shopping with the bear hunt, the books they have available for them to loan and read and the snacks!The staff is always courteous and the food is AMAZING!

I love shopping here. They have food items I can’t find anywhere else, plus fresh flowers, seasonal items, great prices on wine, meats, cheeses. Kosher meat. Vacuum-packed meats that freeze well. There are so many frozen entrees and side items that it is easy to put a meal together after a long day at work. Fresh vegetables washed, trimmed and packaged that you can cook and serve with little effort. The only downside is that traffic flow into and out of the Summit is busy at times so I like to go early in the morning. TJ opens at 9AM whereas most of the stores around it open st 10.

I love that The Summit Birmingham has a Trader Joes grocer. Most people shop their for the flowers and alcohol. Where else can you find wine as cheap as water? I stock up on their frozen meals for my lunch breaks. Their trail mix variety is also nice, so I keep those in my car and coat pocket to keep from craving candy.

I shopped at the only Trader Joes in the state of Alabama today. I live on the Gulf Coast and we were passing through Birmingham to visit family. I really enjoyed this experience and I wish there were more Trader Joes around. I would definitely eat more healthy if there were. Please bring a Trader Joes to the Alabama Gulf Coast area!

This is the nicest Trader Joes that I have ever shopped in. It has a fantastic layout, plenty of parking, and the store is impeccably maintained and stocked. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive with so much knowledge to share about their products!! TJs is already my favorite grocery chain, but the Summit Team is Top Notch!!!🌴🌺🌴

I love Trader Joe’s. This location has so much variety and the employees really go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Their cheese selection is pretty amazing. The store is kept spotlessly clean, restrooms included. Be sure to stop by the counter in the back and the coffee station for free samples.On this trip I picked up a Joe’s favorite, Orange Mandarin Chicken, along with Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Gyoza, and Chicken Spring Rolls. All of it was delicious, easy to prepare, and so much better than take out. Highly recommended.

Not worth the hype. They rebrand items and charge a higher markup while creating an illusion of scarcity. Unoriginal and overpriced.

Customer service was wonderful. I cant remember her name but she spoke with an accent I asked her for help and she stayed with me and gave me advice on different products the cashier was so nice as well.

I love Trader Joes for all the ready to eat foods, amazing frozen food you cant find elsewhere, and the big selection of fresh flowers that always makes me smile. They have great k cup coffees, all reasonably priced at 4.99 or 5.99 for a box. My favorite is Electric Buzz which gives a big caffeine boost of 140 grams. Yay.And...I hear they have outstanding wine, also reasonably priced.Its Christmas time now, and TJ sells lots of specialty cookies, sweets, pastries, and all kinds of party food, as well as wreaths, swags and greenery, Enjoy!

My first time in this store and I was not very impressed. Its very cramped, associates arent friendly, and the flow isnt smooth. Its hard to find things with the lack of signage.

I absolutely LOVE the medium brew coffee. I have to stock up each time Im in town. There are a lot of nice specialty items. Try the fig butter, it will not disappoint.

We Love Trader Joes, no matter where we go we love their items. The food, snacks, frozen food and unique Asian cuisine variations. This place says it all of you are familiar with the product. We like this location of all the Trader Joes we have been. But our favorite is in Orlando. But regardless I give them 5 stars.

Good grocery store with wide variety of options. Always something new! As of March 22, Trader Joes has (and Im not kidding here) 60 boxes of pecan kringles! Kringles are a Danish pastery and are amazingly good!

Kinda pricy and cramped, and the produce is usually about to expire, if its not already. So is the bread. They do have some nice specialty items, like very affordable soy candles. I enjoy trying new things I dont normally find anywhere else in this region, and the sales associates are cute.

The most HUMBLING EXPERIENCE Ive had in a while. There was a gentlemen outside who was originally asking for money. Checked my wallet, didnt have any. He then asked for a hot drink or food. I told him Ill find something for him. Traders Joe is slammed busy! I asked one of the employees who was busy restocking being an amazing woman. I didnt catch her name. The whole staff are doing their best to keep up with high demands and safety in during these troubling time. I told her what was happening. She wanted and did help. She heated the soup. I finished my purchase and bought it out to the man. He thank me. But I didnt get to pay for it. All I can say is this Trader Joes just got themself a life time customer. They deserve your business. I will pay it back 10x if not 100x for such an act of kindess. FYI I cried all the way home. It is probably because Im only a couple hundred away from being in that gentlemans shoes.

Everything is well stocked. Although not everything is organic here they do have some fresh fruits and veggies that are. I was happy to see they also had dairy free cheese which is hard to find in the store.

TJ’s is my favorite place to shop for groceries! I feel like most grocery stores try to make it an experience when shopping, and I definitely feel that way with Trader Joe’s. I literally love going in there. I love having fresh flowers at home, and theirs are so affordable and beautiful. And you really can’t beat those prices. I never wait long to check out, and the staff is super friendly.

Everyone wears,a mask and carts are wiped down as soon as returned. Good selection of organic foods.Felt very safe. Only senior hours are now only on Sun when you cannot buy wine.

Its a pleasure to shop at this TJs. I was wandering around with my cart and a helpful employee quickly found that last item I couldnt locate and then pointed me to a check stand with no waiting. Really appreciate the efficient, friendly staff.

Overrated. I prefer Whole Foods because of the clearly delineated checkout lanes, staff that I can tell are staff and everyone at Whole Foods is not walking around with a box cutter on like they are in guerilla warfare. The inventory at Trader Joe’s is disorganized and their staff also does not have a uniform so I can tell them apart from customers. I was asking a customer why can’t they suspend a transaction because I couldn’t tell who worked there and who didn’t.

The store is always organized. They are always busy, but the staff goes above and beyond to be friendly and help find anything you may be looking for. They also will give you all sorts of suggestions on new things to try.

This has been the only grocery store that I have found fresh Eucalyptus bundles in Birmingham. Now if I could find some Lavender that would put the icing on the cake for sure.
