Dr. Talbert is such an incredible Doctor. I was referred to him after having 2 previous knee surgeries with the same year. He agreed that I was a great candidate for a partial knee replacement and today marks 3 weeks post op. My knee is healing nicely and the care I received from Dr. Talbert and his staff have meant the world to me. I highly recommend him.

Dr.Talbert has been remarkable through my entire healing process. My last surgery was my third surgery with Dr. Talbert and I have nothing but positive remarks about him. His bedside manner ranks at the top, as well as, his nurse Brittney. They have both given me so much of their time and understanding over the past several weeks. If I have an issue , I can call the office and if there is not an open appointment, Brittney can always fit me in. From the moment I walk in the door until I leave, every person is kind and helpful. I have gone to Southlake for many years and have never been disappointed!

Excellent nurses, but this Doctor is condescending and rude. I have never in my life heard of a doctor who laughs at patients who are in pain and need help. Unacceptable.

1st visit to Dr Talbert after 4 years of assembly line orthopedic surgeons who never listened. Considering the changes with the pandemic I was grateful at how kind and understanding everyone was at Southlake. Dr T didn’t rush me and allowed me the time to explain everything i had been through. He was not pro surgery at all, explained my injuries and options so I could make an educated decision. For the first time In years I have hope. Dr T you are the bomb.com!

So far, only seen dr once. Dr. Talbert was very personable and direct! No BS, just laid out the information. The wait was longer than the visit, though. On a very positive note, I was able to have my MRI right after my appointment. I got really lucky in that they had an appointment 10 minutes after I finished up with the doctor.

I used another orthopedic doctor for many years. After his passing I was convinced any other doctors would be sub par. Although I have only seen Dr. Talbert twice, he has been attentive, knowledgeable, professional and understanding. Will be back.

Dr. Talbert and his staff are amazing. They listen, are candid and open in discussing your problem. They discovered a cyst compressing my spinal cord in a spot that I had been complaining of pain in for years - and treated like an addict even though I wasn’t taking anything other than OTC pain meds. I’ll be having surgery to correct in a couple weeks. I’m so excited to be able to walk upright again.

I am 21 years old and I have been in the hospital since October 22nd 2019. I gave birth to my second beautiful daughter on that day. I was able to walk in and I was not able to walk out. I went to lakeshore rehabilitation shortly afterwards and was discharged almost a month later after being admitted. I went through 3 doctors before I found the doctor that is now my primary. She referred me to Dr. Talbert and got me in really quickly. I saw him on Monday December 10th 2019 and we discussed my options and I was so happy that there were actual doctors that cared and wanted to help me get better finally. I asked him what my best option would be and he said to undergo back surgery because I have tried everything else and I still could not walk. My mental health was deteriorating because I felt like I was forever going to be 1. In a wheelchair at the age of 21 and 2. Not taken serious because everyone looked at my age and didnt look at me again. He did not play either! He wanted me fixed pronto. I was scheduled for surgery the next day. I am currently in recovery and I go back to lakeshore rehabilitation hospital for physical therapy because Dr. Talbert actually cared about my over all well-being. I love this place, I love the staff, and most importantly I love how the Doctor actually cares. Best place that there is honestly!

Very nice staff. Had my 6bmonth old with me and they made me feel comfortable instead of many places that make it seem like baby is in the way etc. I really like Dr. Talbert! Only complaint is the steps we must follow for insurance to pay for the real issue I believe is going on. This I known is not his fault. I also believe the entire facility as a whole should have a station to change your baby. Yes many people have sitters, I am a stay at home mother for purposes , but that should not keep anyone from the necessities just bc many people think they should not have a baby with then or possibly have nannies etc. Othe than my hand hurting worse off because of the steps process in order to actually solve my issue .. I truly believe that he is a doctor who knows what he specializes in and isnt afraid to tell y poo u who in the pra give is. Better at this or that. His staff are very nice. Some up front could smile a little more a but hey who get a full patient friendly office service these days? Also I had refill out what I had already filled our prior to mg appt. So that was a blow in waiting time and wasting it. Thanks DR. Tolbert and I look forward to working out my medical needs to recovery.

If I could rate this man and his office less than one star I would. No person should have to sit there while a doctor, who is supposed to be helping you, insults you, humiliates you, and makes you feel like the scum on his shoe. His receptionist was rude and gave no greeting. She seemed more interested in her phone than what was going on at her job. Id rather hurt and be in pain than deal with this unprofessional doctor again. Also, Im pretty sure he is affiliated and gets money for referring people to the bariatric surgery center. I know I could stand to lose about 40 lbs but that doesnt require life changing and permanent surgery. BEWARE! He just wants your money, not to help you.

I found another doctor that didnt insult me and that did the surgery I needed. I rather have a Veterinarian to work on me than this guy.
