She put all my fears of having to deal with a new doctor at ease. She is extremely pleasant, kind and has a great sense of humor, which goes a long way with me.My cleaning with Nancy was wonderful. Unlike most people, I actually enjoy going in for my cleanings. Nancy was expert at her job and very personable. I miss Patty, but I am glad to have Nancy as her replacement.Working with the office staff has also been a blessing. They are kind and patient and have been positive and upbeat when interacting with them.Most recently, I had to have an old filling replaced and Dr. Patel had some concerns there may be more of an issue based on my latest X-ray. Dr Patel replaced the filling and fortunately for me, found no other issues. But what made the appointment superb, was Dr. Patels sense of humor and her expertise. I couldnt believe how quickly, efficiently and painlessly the process went. The numbness you normally get with half your face numb for at least an hour. I had none of that. In fact, there were none of the usual issues once I left the office and I was back to normal in less than an hour. Incredible.I know, youre thinking, you went to the dentist, so what?! The point is just how amazing Dr. Patel is along with her staff. I am so grateful to Dr. Cedrone for finding his clients someone so unbelievably proficient at her profession. And to have that old Bedside Manner about her. I truly cant say enough about Dr. Patel.

Precursor: Before I had my wonderful visit at Billerica Family Dental, I had been at my past dental office for at least 10 years.My experience at BFD was truly a great experience. I am someone who gets very nervous at a dental office and felt comfortable the whole time!When I first walked into the home-like office, I was greeted by the receptionist, Sandy. I was extremely nervous but from my first greeting with Sandy to my goodbye, I was very pleased! Sandy and I chatted it up about Florida (my favorite vacation spot and where she had visited a week prior to my cleaning.) She was very personable and super sweet!As it was time for my cleaning, Julie, the dental hygienist, took me to the room where my cleaning was taking place. The space was very clean and again, comfortable! Julie asked me about college and about a recent trip I took to New York. Along with very friendly banter, my cleaning was very efficient and I was pleased to be explained step-by-step what she was doing.After the cleaning, Dr. Patel came in and thats when my experience really was not what I was used to (in a good way!) At my previous office, I never actually got to see my x-rays, nor was I ever explained what anything meant even if I caught a glimpse. Unfortunately during this visit, to BFD I did have watch spots. But! Dr. Patel took the time to show me what was on my x-ray and what certain spots meant. As a young adult, I appreciated this even more because it felt like at my last office, they didnt bother to explain what was happening which almost feels demeaning. The fact she took the time to breakdown the x-ray, made me realize that this practice truly cares for the wellbeing of the patients.Thank you Dr. Patel and staff for a great visit!

Although my husbands name is stated above, it is me, Bonnie Spiegel, writing this review. My husband and I were patients of Dr. Paul Cedrone before Dr. Niraja Patel took over the practice. Of course, like anyone else, we were skeptical about using a new dentist being we were patients of Dr. Cedrone for over 40 years. We were both extremely impressed by Dr. Patel. She is extremely thorough, and very professional. Her work is excellent. I had a partial plate made by Dr. Patel, and her fittings (which were several), made it so that I was able to put the plate once it was completed into my mouth and did not require any adjustment. She just hired a new hygienist, Julie, who is also very good!! I would recommend this practice to anyone that is interested in finding a wonderful dental practice. I dont hesitate to ever go there and have any of my dental work performed. Give them a call and make an appointment. Try them, you will love them!!!
