I needed a root canal and along with being afraid of dentists in general and the thought of having a root canal, I was very anxious and nervous. But that was for no reason! I had the best experience. All the staff was comforting, answered all of my questions and very communicative and informative. The procedure went smoothly and recovery was great as well. I would highly recommend coming here.

My first root canal appointment in the Bay Area. I am happy with painless experience.What I did not like is that I was waiting for paper work for ~30 minutes after my appointment officially started, and I did not get a quote until dentist started working on my tooth (anesthesia was already applied), only then the person responsible for paper work brought a quote: I had to sign it right away with my mouth opened and numbed! Crazy!!!I did not have a chance to go through it as I felt super uncomfortable in this situation.I do not know if it is a normal practice, because when I went to put my crown on to a different place, all the paperwork and financial aspects were discussed before my tooth was touched.

I had a great experience, and I believe you will too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The endo doctor and her assistant were both great! They both made me feel comfortable. They told me as time passed what stage they were at in the procedure. I was comfortable throughout the procedure. It has been 24hrs since I was there and no pain. I would recommend them if you need work done, the Berkeley office or their Oakland office.

I needed a root canal asap, they gave me an appointment for the following day, doctor job was great! He was truly a professional.

I was completely comfortable with Dr. Ocallaghan and her staff. I tend to be anxious and I was assured that there should be no pain. That is all I needed to hear. She knew my case, was frank about what I needed, and took x-rays throughout the procedure to ensure that everything was done correctly.

Somehow they made a Root Canal an enjoyable experience.
