Due to previous bad experiences, fear, & neglect because of that, my mouth was a disaster! When I came to Bergenfield Dental, it was a completely different experience. Dr Shahid & his staff are THE BEST EVER!!! Extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly & caring without judgement. Needed extractions, bone grafting, sinus lift & full mouth implants. It was done under sedation and I was never uncomfortable. Dr Shahid was very concerned about my comfort level & explained EVERYTHING in detail. I could not be happier with the results. I will never go any where else & I will send everyone I know to them!!

I cannot recommend him enough, their service is A1! He made sure I understood every step of the procedure I was getting done, I felt comfortable enough (that’s a lot to say) and everything came out just how I expected. His team is very professional, diligent and friendly.

Early in the morning on June 1st, I had a dental mishap requiring urgent attention, but  no clinics were open that early so I had to wait until almost 10a.m.when most clinics open, to start looking for an appointment. However, all the places I called, I had to book an appointment before I could be seen as they had a whole line of patients waiting for weeks to be seen - irrespective of whether one needed emergency attention - they dont accept patients on a walk-in-basis.In desperation, I started scrolling through my contacts to see if I could find any dentist.As soon as I typed dentist, two names appeared and I called the first one - Bergenfield.  It was answered by a pleasant lady who patiently listened to my pleas and finally replied, yes, you come at 12 oclock? I replied wow! please give me your address She replied Bergenfield in Bergen County,  By then, the time was almost 10minutes after 11 a.m. I replied that I could get there around 12.30.  She assured me that Id still be seen if I got there at 12.30. For me, securing an appointment after all the drama of calling many places, pleading and being turned down, was the greatest achievement.When I finally arrived at the Bergenfield Dental Clinic, even the way I was received right from the minute and I entered and introduced myself, I felt that I had done the right thing (because the minute my call was answered and they asked me to come, I did not bother to know the other dental clinic on my contacts had to offer!) and my problem would be solved right there at Bergenfield Clinic.  That is exactly what happened and the Dentist himself - Dr Shahid - gave his full attention to my problem all through.  I left the place with a smile on my face when I remembered how my day had started that morning. I am still very grateful to the Dentist and all the staff at the Bergenfield Dental ClinicMary Kamau

Upon entering the exam roomNoi was very kind and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I cant say enough about Dr. Shahid and how compassionate he was in understanding my situation and the pain I was experiencing. He removed my painful back molar and immediately the next day my initial throbbing pain and headaches were gone and I can finally drink something cold! I cant thank you enough and your staff for your help. I look forward to going back to this office for any dental needs I may have in the future.

Todays appointment was re-scheduled from 1:30pm to 10:30am which made it more co0nvenient for me for an earlier time. I was seated for the leaning which went very well and thorough. I was done with the service in very good time and Dr Shahid did his walk thru check and we chatted briefly and we thanked each other.. My next appt. is in approx. 3months and look forward to next cleaning, the staff was courteous and polite.

Dr. Shahid and his staff were lovely people. I am afraid of going to the dentist but Dr. Rashid and his staff were very comforting and helpful. I got a root canal done and for being my first and a well known painful procedure, they made sure that I was comfortable and in the least amount of pain possible. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Had a wonderful experience as far as dentists go.

25 to book an emergency appointment. 125 for one x ray and to be told he couldn’t help me. Usually one gets a full mouth of X rays and a cleaning for new clients at that cost or less.Then I had requested the out of network documents to submit to the insurance co. Reception says they don’t take my insurance.That’s why I needed out of network forms! I will not be returning.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!I made an appointment for 3pm for a tooth extraction and received an email and text confirmation, only to arrive and be told that they had no idea I was coming. I had to return 2 hours later only to be told that he couldnt take the tooth out and was then charged $150!!!!!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Shahid for 8 years. Nothing could make going to dentist more pleasant than experiencing the professionalism, curtesy and warmth we receive from Dr. Shahid and his staff.

Everyone was exceptionally professional & extremely friendly which really put me at ease; however, & perhaps I misunderstood but I thought the initial session was also to discuss the sedated portion of future treatment. Since it wasnt mentioned, I suppose that will take place upon the next visit. The office is extremely modern, something I definitely like, & it seems that everyone is concerned about my well-being so thats also a plus.

Everyone was incredibly friendly including the secretary, dental hygeinist, and the dentist. They were also very accommodating if I was coming late since I lived far away. Today I was there to finalize work on two implants. What impressed me most was not only how careful he was in seeing that I remained pain-free but that he was extremely fussy in assuring that the fit was perfect. Dr Shahid does everything the right way to make your teeth the healthiest they can be---i always thank him and his staff when i leave.---------bottom line, Dr Shahid saved all my teeth--they were getting old with deteriorating silver fillings and fine cracks. Listening to him explain (this was about 20+ yrs ago) how we needed to get each tooth that needed repair, repaired. i have all my teeth and they are strong and healthy

Started as a patient there almost three years ago. Was very fearful of dental work. Dr. Shahid and the entire staff was very patient and caring. I now go regularly and am very happy with the results. Although I dont find it fun, it is not so terrible and I faithfully go for my checkups. If they were not so patient, I am not sure I would have stuck with it. Highly recommend the practice to anyone especially those who have a phobia about dental work.

Dr Shahid is a great dentist. He has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. I believe he also teaches other dentists. My last dentist had a spa office and I got massages and starbucks coffee in the office. Dr Shahids office doesnt do that but he is a great doctor.

Over the past few years Ive had 6 crowns and 4 implants done, among other things. Dr. Shadid and Noo(his assistant) walked me through all the procedures so I would be able to understand what they were doing. Now my mouth looks great-dont know why I waited so long, but thats me. Dr, Shahid and his staff have made me comfortable with going to the dentist again. I had not been for years, but after getting married, my wife to me to this dental office in Bergenfield, NJ. I was uncomfortable but I got through it and I have been going back ever since.
