This was the best medical experience I’ve had since 2004. Great observations on the patient and shows an understanding that most Docs do not share. The other patients seemed satisfied with the office staff and my time in the office was pleasant. Earl Franklin deserves the honorific Doc. My appointment started promptly at the scheduled time. The person checking me in was cheerful and efficient. The medical assistant was kind, professional, and asked relevant questions about the reason for the visit. The visit with Dr. Webb was thorough - lasted nearly 40 minutes. Dr. Webb asked lots of questions and carefully listened to my answers and answered questions I had. He also explained next steps and treatment options in detail. I feel like I have a viable plan in place that will greatly improve my health. Thank you.

In 2016 I went to Northstar looking for help in understanding why I needed sleeping pills. During a sleep study, I was able to find out I have restless legs syndrome. 5 years later my legs have gotten worse. NorthStar understood this. I have never been to a doctor that puts you at so much ease so they can glean as much from you as they can for proper treatment. They take the time to explain everything in details anyone can understand. All the staff is very friendly.

I went into Northstar not knowing what to expect. I have sleep apnea and have had it my whole life. My wife has told me over and over again to get a sleep study. So, I started the process. My wife, son and I sat down in a office with Earl Franklin. He was very well spoken and explained what sleep apnea is very well. How it works and how your body reacts. He did this so well that my wife an RN of 10 years was very impressed with how he broke it down. Long story short I would recommend Earl Franklin and NorthStar medical specialists for anyone that thinks, needs or wants a sleep study.

Earl Franklin PA-C did a wonderful job when I went to see him He did an excellent job of obtaining my history ans concerns. Thorough explanation was provided of management and testing available as well as at home measures to help with my sleep issues . They push for an office visit for things that could be handled by phone (i.e. CPAP recall). One of the many reasons medical insurance premiums are so high.

Well at first I was skeptical about the whole thing but when I went there was greeted by good people will manage people got good vibes from them and then met Earl Franklin The Physician at North Star. Great guy I thought personally was a doctor where he held himself as one. Ive been around LOTS OF DR.s . I got great Vibes off of Earl Franklin and the lady who works at night. I did the sleep study , they were quick to get me in to do the study. the appointments were punctual and well just all-around great found out stuff that I need it Ive been getting better sleep and looking forward to a better life with this help that I got as well as looking into their weight loss department that they have as well. Great atmosphere!!!

They’ve been wonderful! The facility is very nice and clean. They’ve taken all the needed precautions from COVID-19, so it’s very safe and sanitary. The room for overnight sleep studies is private and comfortable and all of the sleep technicians are incredibly kind and profession. Dr. Byker is incredibly knowledgeable and always makes time to answer any and all questions that you’ll have. My experience here has been wonderful. 10/10 would recommend

Feat first experience with sleep studies. Dr Webb and his staff are incredibly thorough, patient, professional, and caring. He explained sleep apnea, sleep study procedures and a variety of possible treatments, without pushing any treatments specifically. I felt like he really listened, cared and offered sound advice. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff at the office. P.A. Byker was also very friendly and in addition to that she was very thorough in her evaluation of me. She took her time and didnt act rushed at all. As a matter of fact, she said after some testing she would normally schedule a half hour appointment to review results. However, she told me she wanted to schedule a full hour with me to make sure we could cover things thoroughly due to some extenuating symptoms I am presenting with. This was my initial appointment. Im hopeful my future experiences will be just as pleasant along with the level of medical attention I received. I will post an update after my follow up!

I have had one prior study at a hospital, and was honestly expecting to hate the experience all over again at NorthStar. I was more than surprised when everyone from the front staff to the technicians was friendly, hilarious, and endlessly warm. Despite moving across the state I will continue to make my appointments here. Earl Franklin is a phenomenal provider who does more than hand over a diagnosis, he talks you through the fine points of the data, never invalidates your concerns, and educates you on your own condition. From the very first appointment we went over what everything might be, mean, and potential treatments. I never left feeling overwhelmed or panicked by the maybes. I dont leave reviews often but I cant say enough about NorthStar and their amazing team!

He listens to my niece he helps me get to what I need to take care of and super kind. Ill be coming back from here from now on. Nothings better than a good night sleep comfortably.

Positive experience. Excellent staff. Study showed that I wasnt getting enough quality sleep. Set up with a cpap machine, used it for the first time last night. Definitely will take some time to adjust to it but Im optimistic that my sleep quality will improve.

I am so impressed! It is nice to find a place that provides an ample time with the physician to go over your personal history and needs. The program is organized and provides tools to help you along the way. Very professional and helpful group of people.

My experience was the complete opposite of those describing a conflict of interest. After a sleep test, they recommended the least expensive, least troublesome solution--a bite guard rather than a CPAP. And they recommended I go to my own dentist for the bite guard, which I did, and it worked perfectly--no more snoring. The sleep test is a discomfort, yes, but unless you are a whiny 5 year old you can probably handle it. Dr administered the most in depth history of my health I have ever had, and he advised me on things beyond the scope of our visit, in a very professional way. No complaints here.

Im a huge fan - the whole operation is first class, from Dr Webb, the technicians to the front desk. I especially want to commend Jill and Frank who supervised by sleep-over studies, both true pros and very supportive, and Addie, who provided me with my CCAP equipment. I am grateful for all their help and support and I would be happy to recommend this first rate team of professionals.

I’ve had major problems with their billing department in the past (~4 years ago), like a bill for $1000+ dollars due to the fact they didn’t want to communicate with my insurance company. I talked to them about the problem, but received that bill over a year later.Also, they tried to get me to come into an appointment recently despite them knowing my insurance wasn’t accepted. I then kept getting calls from them every week trying to get me rescheduled.Avoid this place, if not get ready to pay for their “accidental” oversights.

Earl is kind and attentive and has always been on time. I strongly recommend North Star Medical to help patients with sleep problems!

Excellent care. I had a sleep consultation that ended up being like 1.5 hours long. Dr Webb answered all my questions and helped me figure out the most budget-friendly plan moving forward. I was prepared to pay for a sleep study and a new CPAP, so he had many opportunities to make more money off me - but he was honest and said that my existing CPAP was sufficient, and no sleep study was needed at this time. He was very kind and understanding, and really seemed to know his stuff. Highly recommended.

I dont have any complaints about the staff. What you should know is, you should check with Medi-care and your insurance companies before proceeding with treatment. I made it clear I didnt want some things done if they cost money and they told me it was all covered. NOT! 1st bill.The second time a procedure was covered the first time, but not the second. Another bill (which I got a year later.) Im just saying, check it for yourself so you dont a surprise, because they will tell you the person shouldnt have told you it wasnt covered.

Does not recocnize the American Medical Assc. Federal studies and conclusions advisory boards reviews. In conclussion to APNEA machines and their overall functioning and ability to do as advertised and pushed by the field that makes billions on a machine that was doomed before a lobbyist group pushed through Congress and the White House during the Obama years.

I personally found Northstar to be extremely professional. From the initial consult, the actual study, and follow up, I felt heard and supported. The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and informed. Thank you Northstar for giving me peace of mind.

Terrible! They used to have a decent team of a Dr. and ARNP. But both left and when I went back all they had was one new ARNP. She was terrible. She scolded me about how I was interacting with my care team and all she did was throw a lot of paper handouts to me and shuffle me out the door. I hear they now have an MD so maybe things have gotten better, but I would not go back to find out. Very disappointing.

Will probably not return. Was told they had sleeping pill a available, but couldnt get one. Spent 5 hours hooked up but couldnt get to sleep so no usable data collected. Wasted that appointment and had to change plans for the following day since I had not slept. All this after waiting 3 months for an appointment!

The sleep PA was late on both my appointments. 30 minutes again today. I had to leave prior to getting to see him.

Never really clicked with the PA there. Very impersonal, and I didnt feel listed to. Will seek another sleep disorder Dr. for my next visit.
