This was my first visit to Karas Beauty Barn and it had such a welcoming and peaceful appearance! It is definitely a unique spa and I would recommend everyone to check them out for any of your needs or wants. I got a Brazilian and eyebrow wax done by Clare and she was absolutely amazing! She makes you feel comfortable from the time she greets you to the time you leave. Clare is very quick but also makes sure that she waxed every hair, and she knows exactly what shes doing which made the waxing session very painless! (considering I am pregnant and waxing tends to hurt more, I barely felt any pain) Thank you so much and I will definitely be back (:

If you havent been, you have to go. Seriously, one of my favorite full-service spas around. The ladies are the best, the vibes are excellent, and I love their treatments.

I highly recommend Karas Beauty Barn. Its in a country setting with so many charming touches. Lizz did a fantastic facial in the little Airstream trailer on the property. So professional and friendly. Its like visiting family. Highest standard and skills in town.

An instant friend! Kara is very talented and welcoming. My electrolysis treatments took hours and she was patient and pleasant and I always enjoyed our chats. Excellent quality service. Delightfully whimsical atmosphere, relaxing and fun. You will never feel pressured into buying more services or products but you will love your results no matter what youre having done. She is a true artist.

I had my brows micobladded today with Kara. She an absolute sweetheart and VERY well educated at what she does.....Im looking a bit like Groucho Marx today, but she told me thats totally normal. Im so excited. Maybe I can post photos along the way. This is gonna save me a lot of time EVERYDAY penciling them in. I feel free already

I feel totally safe and taken care of. I feel Kara actually cares about me as a person as well as a customer. Some other salons in town are just interested in the money. Kara go to great lengths to make me feel like I matter.

I went in for an eyelash/eyebrow tinting. Kara was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I sincerely appreciated her expertise and open demeanor. The space is super cute and quaint. And my service was executed impeccably. All in all, a very positive experience, and Im sure Ill be back at some point.

What can I say? Kara’s Beauty Barn has evolved to feature all the amenities of a 5 Star spa without all the fussiness and wallop to your wallet. Kara and her staff are knowledgeable, professional, flexible and compassionate as they attend to every detail of your visit. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and set in a creatively unique venue. Oh my gosh.... It was amazing! The service was delightful. I did the salt scrub with oil massage.... Do good. The person that did the service was so sweet. And the owner was amazing too! Super friendly and kind.On top of that I locked my keys in my truck. They let me stay as long as I needed to in the building. It took over an hour for someone to come out. And the spa owner even came out and have me a soda water. They did not have to do what they did. These people went above and beyond for me. I definitely suggest them not only because of there amazing service but also their kindness.

I love going to see Kara!! She always knows exactly what treatment I should have and to say that I’m happy with the results every time is an understatement!! She is professional and her warmth, kindness and humor always make for such a relaxing enjoyable time. I can’t recommend going here enough.

Kara and Racheal were fantastic for my wedding hair and makeup! They are both wonderful to work with. I looked great for my wedding. They gave me an amazing wedding prep experience.

Very informative, professional and friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and decorated nicely with soft background music which felt comforting . This was my first time getting waxed and I felt confident and comforted in their knowledge and skill to get the job done without any doubts. All hair was removed which I have blonde hair and the brow and lash tint looked amazing and natural... I would recommend Karas services to everyone!

Because I meant it! Such a lovely, comforting and relaxing place, quite a treat. I am usually anxious about making appointments for any facial treatments(especially waxing), but I am actually looking forward to my next one with Kara!!

Literally the best keep secret in whatcom county. I get paid to review companies and her company was literally a happy accident. I make nothing preaching her name or my small claim to fame, just to aim you to her. Your only regret would be not to echo this message to all who search for beauty destress, and ulitmate relaxation. With nothing phony to take you away from your journey be to relation. Because lets face it, all to often, we are too worried with all the external forces its hard to see in internal even harder to relax that state. Though not at Karas beauty barn. Private location private room. Five star treatment at a dollar tree price. If you go then youll know why I get paid to do this, just not in this case.

Great place which i discovered listening to the radio in my car. Have had permanent eyeliner by ksrs. As well as a big bang fscial with ellie. Both fabulous. Locstion is a bit out of the way but well worth the drive. Cue set up with separate little cottages.where you are in a private sttingQuite cute and comfortable. Rates are quite reasonable compared to the normal spa experience. Only 350.00 for the eyeliner others carge 450.00 and up. Facial i had was 140.00 which included the usual plus microderm abrasion and micro current. Give the a try..both have been in the business for 5-15 years

I have been going to Karas Beauty Barn since it opened- almost 5 years ago now. Ive always taken care of my skin- but was never too vigilant about the ingredients in my skin care products and make up. Since Ive been going to Kara, Ive been using Dermalogica and Jane Iredale products and I love how soft my skin feels. I have melasma issues from spending 26 years at the beach. Kara has helped me get my melasma under control with regular facials and micrderm treatments.She also helped me have eye brows again! Growing up in the 90s, I over plucked- so I went to Kara to have my brows microbladed. They look awesomely natural! She is amazing at her job. She is always learning more about new techniques and technology, you can tell shes a former educator. If youre interested in natural collagen induction therapy, fillers and permanent cosmetics- make an appointment to go see her. I have full faith in her ability to enhance my natural look- she does it every month with facials, product suggestions, etc. Everyone thinks Im younger than I am, so I tell them to go see Kara! Not to mention that when you leave your appointment- your cheeks will hurt from laughing, your heart will be full from your conversations, and youll feel confident about your looks.
