I have known Doctor Kumar about 10 years. He and his staff know me like family. Walking in and being greeted so nicely is wonderful. Theyre so friendly to everyone and great at what they do. I am thankful to have a dentist that takes the time to ask how youre doing, what is new in life, explains what he is doing and what I need to do to better my mouths health, etc.The assistants truly make sure youre comfortable and its great to be able to watch TV while in the chair.

Great dentist, front office, and assistants. They are caring people and they do a good job. I like that they told me of my insurance limits and worked with me to make it so I didnt have as much coming out of my pocket.I dont enjoy getting work done on my teeth, but Dr Kumar and assistants make it so its not something I want to avoid, unlike other dentists Ive been to. Ive been seeing them for several years now, even when I had to drive across Portland to get to their office. When you find a good dentist, you stick with them!Mike

I have been going to Dr. Kumars Smile Dental office for around 9 years. Every time, the doctor and staff has been very good, friendly and prompt. The office is high tech, with a monitor at each station where he can show live images of teeth and gums, to point out problem areas and show before and after pictures. Over the years, Dr. Kumar has kept my teeth in good shape, and made several improvements over work done by previous dentists. Ive recommended him to several of my friends. Great dentist!

I’m proud to be one of Dr. Kumar’s patients. He’s been awarded as one of America’s Top Dentists and selected to be on the cover of the January 2005 edition of the “Doctor of Dentistry Magazine”. He gives his best into every patient. His fromt desk and assistantsis are wonderful as well. I appreciate how friendly they are and transparent about pricing before I get my work done . Plus what kind of dentist office offers Netflix to help distract you from getting dental work done?! Never heard that one! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the best dentist and team you can find.

3 things you need to know about this review - 1. I picked Dr. Kumar off a random list that BCBS sent me 2. I went in knowing it would be bad news 3. I loved my last dentist. So really I went in vaguely prejudiced. Ummm... Dr. Kumar is easily the best dentist Ive had. Not only does he have digital xrays (really a must in todays world), he has additional cutting edge tech that he uses while explaining whats happening in your mouth so you can be on the same page. He has clearly kept up with the research and tech in his field. Also took the time to get to know me personally (small touch that I appreciated, a doctors time is precious) and just was an all around personable, knowledgeable guy. Shocked he doesnt have more reviews so I feel obligated to leave one. You cant do better.
