What a great experience! No pain just sleep! Dr. Heath Lampee and his staff are complete professionals with wonderful care for their patient. I love the comradeship in the office too. It stood out to me on my first visit. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

This process and Dr. Lampee are really superior in all steps towards a new smile. I cant begin to describe the joy I feel to be able to smile and laugh and just rejoice. Dr. Lampee is kind, knowledgeable, highly professional and he brings such comfort to one such as myself who allowed my fright and embarrassment to rob me of my expressions of joy. 5 stars are not a high enough gauge for his expertise and that of his office and crew. I’ve been going to Dr Lampee’s office for a couple of years. I get very anxious about dentists and he has always taken my needs seriously. My anxiety over going to the dentist has been getting much better thanks to Dr Lampee and his wonderful staff.

Wow what can one day about Dr.Lampee the staff as well as Dr. Lamper were beyond kind and polite . They became family. With the skill and percussion of Dr. Lamper he was able to give so much more then a great smile . Dr. Lamper really is as kind and joyfully as we see on tv. For exapple when husband died suddenly it was Dr. Lamper one of the first to give suppport .All in all I would tell everyone to at least go see him let him show you the wonderful things he has done for so many.

My husband had full dental implants, upper and lower, Dr. Lampee and his staff were wonderful throughout the process. It has been about a year since it all began and my husband is doing great. After the procedure they polished my teeth and gave me an anti inflammatory which added not only to the appearance to the work but also to my comfort. By far the best dental practice I have been to. I have dental anxiety so I will get sedated for any type of procedure, however do to certain circumstances I had to buck up and get work done without the sedation and let me just tell you it was THE best experience ever! I was encouraged and comforted the whole time, Dr. Lampee and his assistant talked me through each step and told me what it is they were doing. I’m just honestly so amazed how well it all went! His staff went way out of their way and spent 45 minutes with me over the phone and answered all of my questions! I was equally impressed when I met Dr. Lampee. Ive been a patient of Dr. Lampee for the past year, and I have been completely satisfied. He and his staff are not only very competent and professional but they are also very friendly and down-to-earth. In addition, his work is reasonably priced. Anyone who has anxiety about going to the dentist, or is looking to find a new dentist, will be very happy with Dr. Lampee. I strongly recommend him.

These people will quote you $2200 for a root canal one day and then $3200 the next day. While you are saving up your money, you’ll get a huge tooth infection and your face will swell up like a balloon and you’ll start throwing up blood and end up hospitalized. The dentist will come out of his back office and chew you out when you get out of the hospital, they’ll take five or six visits to finish your root canal when it only takes two at any other dentist and they’ll charge you $1600 for half a mouth cleaning when you can get it done for $60 elsewhere. I urge you to avoid this practice. You’ll ask them to remove the tooth well before you get the infection and end up in a hospital and they’ll say “no, let’s charge you $3200 and hope the tooth lasts another 2 or 3 years”. The tooth will end up being a botched job and wiggling around in your mouth and you’ll be in pain anyway when they are done with you. This isn’t the kind of stuff they want you to know on their “wall of fame” when you walk into their office. The doctor is so conceited that he has videos of himself on television in the waiting room playing on repeat over and over.When you go here and find out you are being “taken for a ride”.. don’t be afraid to do what’s right and tell the truth on reviews. I’m not.Not only that, but while you are in the chair the doctor will be talking to the nurses telling them how he didn’t learn half the stuff in dental school, he had to figure it out for himself! Are you kidding me?!These people are totally insane. You’ll figure it out quickly if you have half a brain. I’ve been to many many dentists all up and down the West Coast for root canals and this was by far the craziest office I’ve been to. Period.You can literally watch the lady up front trying to figure out more things to charge you for and hard sell you on more services that aren’t even close to important when your face is swollen up like a softball. Go somewhere else. There’s like five more dentists right here in the same intersection.Edit: what part of this don’t the people understand? I wrote it out clear as day. If you can’t read maybe you shouldn’t be working on people’s teeth. Scam artists.

Life story short- I get anxious at the dentist and have my share of horror stories from drill anxiety and pain. This dentist, hygienist, and office staff have changed my entire outlook on going to the dentist. These guys are down- to- earth gems. Weve never had any problems, have felt comfortable and have always felt like our words are both listened to and respected. Highly recommended!I was not paid, reimbursed, or asked to review. I just really appreciate them and the lack of anxiety I (finally) feel in making and going to my appointments.

Dr. Lampee is the best dentist that I have ever had in my life. He never forces you into procedures or treatments, is very friendly and understanding, his staff is extremely friendly and kind and my hygienist is super sweet and thorough. His practice is so awesome, that my friend (who originally referred me to him) who moved to Seattle is scheduling her cleaning during Winter/Spring break to go see him. If thats not an awesome enough compliment, I dont know what is!

I have been entrusting Dr. Lampee at Beaverton Smile Center with my oral health for almost 3 years. In that course of time he and his team have earned my respect and confidence. I have my teeth cleaned twice a year and for the first time in my life I look forward to visiting the hygienist! If I have an issue that needs to be addressed I am never made to feel guilty. The staff calmly explains my best course of action while accommodating my emergent needs immediately. Recently when one of my closest friends started to experience extreme pain and his dentist couldnt see him on short notice I referred him to Beaverton Smile Center. It turned out to be a severely infected tooth that required an emergency root canal. Dr. Lampee and his team saw him the very same day. It felt great when he called back to say thank you for the referral :)

I have severe dental phobia and had no insurance for a very long time. I went to Sleep Dentistry Defined for an emergency situation and Dr. Lampee was incredibly rude, condescending, and did nothing but talk down to me and make me feel stupid. He actually told me that the only thing worth doing would be to pull all of my teeth and put in implants. He had no interest in discussing options, creating a plan, or earning my business in any way. I am very glad that I found a better place to go.

Going to the dentist is absolutely my least favorite thing in life. I have been going to Beaverton Smile Center for four or five years now and I have to say that all the staff helps to make the experience as painless as possible. Dr. Lampee is quick and efficient. You will never spend more than a minute or two waiting in the dentist chair to see the doctor. I had 3 fillings done and I was in and out of there in 40 minutes. He gives you options rather than pushing unnecessary procedures. Best dentist ever!

Ive been going to Beaverton Smile Center since we moved to Oregon in 2007. I have always dreaded going to the dentist, but his ad seemed nice and I decided to give him a try. I absolutely lucked out!! He is awesome. He and his staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease. He uses advanced technologies and consistently keeps himself at the front of the pack when it comes to various options and types of dentistry. He is empathetic to people who are phobic about dentists and his whole practice is about eliminating fears and giving you the best treatment for your needs. I wont be going to anyone else.

MILITARY FRIENDLY!!! And when I say friendly, I mean hospitable. I had two root canals in one tooth, two separate fillings, and a custom molded crown ….. All under an HOUR! Craziest part is that I didn’t feel a thing and was awake for the entire procedure. Dr. Lampee performs outstanding precise and painless dentistry. As a military member I have never enjoyed the dentist visit until I was recommended Sleep Dentistry Defined. I have decided to always come back to Dr. Lampee office for all future dental work. With my military obligations I’m not local to Oregon. This dentist is worth flying to from anywhere in the world!

This is by far the best dentists office I have ever encountered. Dr. Lampee knows how to make his clients feel at home. He always takes him time to talk to you and never makes you feel like youre in some sort of assembly line of patients (an experience Ive had at previous dentist offices). His staff has a light touch with their tools and are just as nice.

Ive been to Dr. Lampee multiple times, once on short notice emergency needs. Hes always happy, friendly and does excellent work. My root canal was a completely painless and professional experience. He is up to date on latest technology and equipment.[Update 12/2/2014] - Just recently had another unscheduled visit. Dr. Lampee was able to get me in and performed excellent work in a timely manner.

I hate going to the dentist. I hadnt gone in ten years, and expected it to be awful. Well, it wasnt awful.I felt at ease here, Dr. Lampee made me feel comfortable and gave me positive reinforcement about my dental habits rather than finding some small area to criticize. I got a handwritten card a week later that made reference to things we had chatted about during my visit, and they were very cool about my needing to reschedule on short notice.5 star experience. Ill go there again.

I have a fear of needles and would rather be in pain than get my mouth numbed.... Until I stumbled upon this wonderful Dentist and sleep dentistry. Not only is Dr. Lampee kind and patient he is also by far the best Dentist I have ever had work on my teeth. He was able to save a tooth that two other dentists told me to have pulled. I went in to his office fully prepared to have him pull it and he highly encouraged me to have a root canal. Almost 2 years later and I am so glad he did! I would/have recommended him to all my friends and family!

Ill admit it, I am a baby when it comes to dental visits. Really, just sitting in the waiting area brings on waves of nausea, sweaty palms, and tears. So sleep dentistry was going to be the only way to get me into the chair. Dr. Lampee took his time to explain how the sleep sedation was going to work. He is a great chatter and made me feel more comfortable than any other dentist has. I was still nervous and he promised me that if I was not comfortable then we would re-schedule and use full sedation. Well he was right - sleep sedation worked like a charm. I was comfortable, had a great nap and Dr. Lampee did his magic! I wish I had visited sooner, it was so painless! The entire staff is amazing, being so gentle with us dental-phobics! I am so thankful that I found this dental office.

I have finally found a dental office that has made me overcome my anxiety about dental work. I was truly impressed that Dr. Lampee took the time on my first appointment to come out to the waiting room to chat with me. I was early and the office staff hadnt gotten back from lunch. Day #9 since having the last 7 Ivorys removed. So far Im pleased with the process. I went to Dr. Lampee after a fair amount of Web Time & a couple of reports from folks that I know/knew of that had went there. Its True! After the little cup of Grape (?) Juice, I dont remember anything. Being on the downside of 68 Ive had a lot of pretty nasty experances in the old chair. As far as Im concerned it was well worth the money to miss it all. Everything seems to be healing well. Ive had a lot less work done & been in pain longer. So Kudos to the Doc. & Crew. Up-date...6/10...Everything has healed up great! Have new choppers in and processing mass quantities in proper Conehead fashion.

Ideally located this friendly dentist office has got it! They are thorough, affordable, and super nice! Truly disappointed in the experience my mom had with this dental practice-we were in a vulnerable position due to worsening medical issues for my mom caused by former dental trauma and we got fooled into thinking this was a health care provider; its only a business. Beware!They do not contract with insurance, and charge an inflated amount for EVERY service. The front desk woman (Wanda) even joked that it was expensive, then referenced she was going to Mexico for gastric bypass surgery since medical/dental care is cheaper there. I responded, saying I wish we had the time to go find someone in Mexico to provide the dental care she needed, but that we were desperate for fast help for my mom as she couldnt nourish herself due to her dental issues and worn out repairs from previous dental work.Heath Lampee told my mom and I he would take care of her and be her forever dentist for the life of her implant dentures-and we were lead to believe the 30k+ (yes you read that right!) we paid out of pocket would cover her maintenance/annual check ups in full without a cost-share for the patient, boy were we wrong! These dentures get loose over time and have to be tightened with clips aka tiny rubber gaskets. Sleep Dentistry charges $40.00 for each gasket/clip. There is a minimum of 4 clips for a set of dentures, but there can be up to 10. When Wanda called to schedule my moms check up and tightening appointment, she did NOT say there would be a cost, and Heath Lampee had their brand new dental assistant break the news to my mom that for her to have her dentures tightened, it would cost $320.00 (8 clips). My mom was not prepared to pay this amount as she is a disabled person on a fixed income so she left without having her teeth tightened, and without the PROVIDER, Heath Lampee speaking with her personally-he hid out in his office. Now she can barely talk/eat without her teeth falling out-how humiliating.My mom suffered dental trauma from a fatal car crash she was in at age 17 that left her disabled. Every dental procedure she has had before and since meeting Heath Lampee is a reminder of this tragedy she survived, and the person she lost. But this office doesnt care about that-not at all, its all about the benjamins $$$. If you want to give your money away to a wolf in sheeps clothing, this place will be your favorite. If youre looking for integrity, you wont find it at Sleep Dentistry.And Dr. Lampee? Spare me your generic Im sorry for your experience, please call our office to help us help you and other patients response to this review to try and save face. Unless you can follow through with what you told us - I will be sure my moms story is public to help my mom and other potential patients. Shame on you!

I was having an extremely painful toothache, for several days. I went to another dentist and had a not so good experience and decided to have another Dentist look at it for a second opinion. I found Dr Heath Lampees Sleep Dentistry Defined office. I could not be happier that I had a second opinion and decided to have them perform the root canal. I was greeted by a super friendly, compassionate, professional staff, that listened to my concerns, went above and beyond to care for my phobia of having dental work done. Ive had allot , and I do mean a lot of dental work performed over the years . This, Hands down was the closest to painless experience Ive ever had with a root canal, heck with any procedures really.He has really new cutting edge equipment, and My procedure seemed to go by much faster than any of the other ones ive had. Usually The day or two after a root canal I typically feel like I was in the ring with mike tyson. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised that it was not the case this time. After my family dentist retired I began to have trouble finding a new dentist that I felt comfortable with. I had a couple of bad experiences and combined with the ones I had while in the Military I ended up just not seeing anyone. The years slipped by and before I realized it had been ten years. A minor problem with a tooth forced me on a new search and I ended up seeing Dr. Lampee last week.The staff is very friendly and the office atmosphere is geared towards relaxing you. They have many options to help you if you have any anxiety over a procedure. I can tell that I have found a new home and I am telling all my friends and family about the great experience I have had.

For someone who has always had a fear of dentists and a history of some scary stories about dental concerns, I trust Dr. Lampee and his staff. Its like my blood pressure goes down rather than up! It is not that I am not ever afraid but the nice thing is that they explain everything before they do it. They are so patient and they take their time. I can always call with any concerns and I am in charge of what I want done. The costs are also explained ahead so there is no confusion on that point. All in all, just what I was looking for in a dentist.

Dr. Lamppe and staff take great care to create a relaxing atmosphere in the office. Everyone is warm and friendly and they never keep you waiting. I have had extensive cosmetic work on my teeth. I always had trouble with the work done because of my bruxism. Crowns would usually crack or simply come off. After trying several dentists over the years I found Dr. Lampee. Dr. Lampee has been my dentist for a few years, and is now my husbands dentist, too. We have both been happy with him and his staff. They are friendly and professional. Recently, I referred my daughter-in-law to Dr. Lampee. She took her six year old son and four year old daughter to see him after they moved to this area. She said their experience could not have gone any better!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lampee since November 2013. I truly regret not finding him sooner! The quality of care and services is outstanding. He is a highly professional and knowledgeable person that cares about his patients and treats them as a family member. I had extensive dental work done to include an implant and root canal. When I first visited Dr. Lampees office I presented my long history of dental issues that I certain point become overwhelming. Obviously no one LOVES going to a dentist - but most of us need to go a lot! Im a typical, dentists do what they have to and I can handle it person - so Dr. Lampees expertise and gentle manner along with a great staff were just a big plus for me all the way around. However, my husband, Jerry (hunter, fisherman, football player, etc.), does NOT do dentists, even with a teddy bear, so after 46 years of marriage you cant imagine how wonderful it was to find someone that could not only handle him but get major work accomplished! He had cleanings, fillings, bridges, root canals, the works - and doesnt remember any of it being a problem!!! Last time he had an abscess a few years ago it had to be done at the ER room - and no one was too pleased about it. We have recommended Dr. Lampee to anyone that will listen!

Scam artist. They are good at taking your money. Told me my insurance would cover something that was about $50-$100 so I thought it would. a month later they sent me a bill for the fee of the service plus late fees for the payment equalled about $150. i called and they told me not to pay it because my insurance would pay it. 2 months later another bill with more late fees equalled about $220 i called again and they told me the same thing so i didnt pay it. 3 months later they told me insurance was not gonna pay so now i had to pay about $350 because of late fees. i talked to them and they didnt even care they just charged my credit card. 2 stars because they had good service

Going to the dentist has never bothered me, unless I had to get a shot of Novocaine. I put off getting my wisdom teeth taken out for that reason. When my wisdom teeth started bothering me, I went to Doctor Lampee to get them removed. I didnt even feel the needle. My boyfriend has always been afraid of the dentist after going to Doctor Lampee dental work doesnt bother him. Doctor Lampee is awesome and his staff is amazing! They are some of the nicest people that I have ever met. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! :)

I had not been to the Dentist for quite some time after a very bad experience with a Hillsboro Dentist. Without question the best dental experience Ive ever had. From the moment I called in and spoke with Lisa, to the handling of my insurance with Jenn, to my first cleaning with Kristen and my xrays with Makenzie I was made to feel totally comfortable and at ease and was welcomed with open arms. My oral health was in bad shape, I had failing and missing teeth and was embarrassed - Dr. Lampee assured me hed get me back in shape. The staff is very nice and polite and very helpfull. Dr. Lampee it very nice genital and never causes you any pain, and when giving you a shot he does it very slow while the nurse rubs your arm so you dont think about the pain, which there is hardly none. If you have to call him for any reason he calls back right away anytime of the day. I would recommend him to anyone thats needs a dentist. I would go back and do it again if I had to another one.

Dr. Lampee is one of the good guys! I first saw Dr. Lampee on AM Northwest television program. He was a guest, speaking about teeth and health and compassionate dentistry. I recorded the show because he was talking about the very problem my husband was having with his teeth. His dental work was pieced together over the years, he had a lot of infection and was close to losing his bottom front teeth per our dentist at the time. He watched Dr. Lampees presentation on the show and made an appointment to see him.. The doctor came up with a plan to help my husband that involved extraction and an implant denture. It was the best decision for his health he has ever made! His COPD is so much improved, because he isnt breathing all that infection from the mouth any longer. He doesnt have that regular attack of bronchitis that sent him running to the doctor for antibiotics, and less missed work days too!. Also his ulcerative colitis is so much better with all that infection gone, his attacks are few and far between now. We estimate his health is 80% better because of the treatment Dr. Lampee provided. We didnt know the health of the body was related so much to the health in the mouth! My husband is living proof ! Not to mention his smile looks fantastic and he forgets he has a denture because they snap in and fit securely! This doctor is so smart! We owe him our gratitude forever and highly recommend his talent to you. Make that appointment, dont be afraid. Dr. Lampees office is the no fear zone, a place of compassion for everyone.

I came to Dr Lampe because my present dentist neglected to find severe infection in my upper mouth. Due to a CT scan after ER visit for Vertigo, they discovered the infection and told me to see my dentist. I brought the CT Scan to Dr Lampe and immediately he detected the infection.I lost two teeth but he saved my health. I am in the midst of second bone graft and then will get the implant. Dr Lampe has been outstanding and he will be my dentist for life. His listening powers, high energy and experience is wonderful and I love all this latest technical equipment.Totally recommend Dr Lampe.

Dr. Lampee and his staff are amazing! By far the best service I have received anywhere! If every business would follow Dr. Lampees business practice the world would be a happier place! Lol! Seriously though, they helped me tremendously. Helped me financially, Dr. Lampee called me on his day off just to make sure I was ok after I got my implants. Amazing group of people and I recommend them to everyone I know!

I have had nothing but fantastic service at Dr. Lampees. Dr. Lampee remembers who I am, remembers details not only about my dental record, but also about conversations weve had before. I went in with 11 cavities to fix, and he did them all within a week. When I broke a tooth last summer, he made time for an emergency root canal and got me patched up within 24 hours of the broken tooth.Dr. Lampee has customers for life.

Friendly and fast...but not too fast, in that my concerns were listened to, and they made sure that I got the best kind of treatment that I needed.

I have been going to BSC and Dr. Lampee for a little over two years and it has been by far the greatest dental experience Ive ever had. You will feel like you are the most important patient there with the amount of personalized care and service patients receive. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgable and the service is of course top notch. My dental health has vastly improved since going to BSC and I would very much recommend anybody to pay them a visit for any dental needs, youll leave with a healthier smile :)Follow up just recently visited Dr. Lampee for a random toothache and they went out of their way to fit me in for an emergency schedule. Took care of me and I was out in under 15 minutes. Again this is something I wouldnt even attempt with any other dentist but everybody at BSC is very accomadating and will treat you fantastic.

Best Dentist Experience EVER. I am a fairly new patient to Dr. Lampees office. I was super nervous about starting with yet another dentist as I have had some really negative experiences in the past. Dr. Lampee treated me like a human being, he actually talked to me and spent time understanding my issues and concerns. I have suffered for over 10 years with TMJ and never had a dentist take me serious, for the first time I was referred for the right treatment and FINALLY I am starting to feel better. I feel really blessed to have met Dr. Lampee, he will definitely have a life long client with me and my family.

Never thought a dental office could feel safe and comfortable before. When I finally came in after months of putting it off, I was actually trembling with terror. Dr Lampee was not bothered by my defensive and fearful stance and was able to walk me through the visit. I went home with a plan and prescription to return a couple days later, and that visit went so well, even though I had a lot of work done, that I am now less fearful of dentist offices. He is a very laid back and down to earth person and his staff are very reassuring and comforting. Jack (The dog) is also very good at relaxing a person by falling asleep while you rub his belly.I am still not comfortable going to other dental offices, but I will return to see Dr Lampee and his staff. I had been very embarrassed about my teeth, but I am gaining confidence knowing Dr Lampee is able to take someone as terrified as I am, and confidently restore my dental health and keep my anxiety under check.

I am much like most when it comes to a dentist visit. I get nervous and embarrassed of the condition of my teeth. The thought of going to the dentist brings thoughts of pain and an embarrassing examination. I get so much anxiety, I rarely see the same dentist twice.At the Smile Center I was received with such a friendly welcoming, that I immediately relaxed. Dr. Lampee and all of his staff have such friendly, courteous, and professional personas that I look forward to my dentist visits.Dr. Lampee is the gentlest dentist that has stuck a needle in my mouth; I dont even tense up when I see the needle. The next day I dont have sore spots on my gums, where the needle went in, and Dr. Lampee personally called me after hours, on the weekend several times, to make sure that I was doing well.I am in my mid-forties and I had horrible teeth. I was afraid that Dr. Lampee would try to talk me into the expensive route of saving my teeth. After my first examination, Dr. Lampee explained all of my choices and the cost, allowing me my countless questions. I decided on replacing my teeth with dentures. Dentists do not benefit in the long run with dentures, and I was afraid he would try talking me out of them, like countless other dentists have. Instead I was given information and even encouragement that it was the proper course of action for me.If you are needing a gentle dentist and enjoy being recognized and welcomed each visit, I strongly suggest the Smile Center. My teeth now look wonderful, I have my confidence back, and I no longer experience pain. I have not visited a dentist in over 5 years and Dr. Lampee had the most postive google reviews (locally) so I decided to give him a try. I typically dont write online reviews but I have to admit that Dr. Lampee and his staffs did live up to the excellent reviews. Process from start to finish was quick and efficient (cleaning) and everyone seemed to be warm and friendly. I knew I had good teeths and the hygenists and the Dr did not pull any other misdiagnoses as many other places seemed to be doing. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely would recommend if you are in beaverton/tigard/aloha area.
