Very please with the personal care that they offered. Most dentist push services that are not needed. This dentist was honest and treated me like an intelligent individual. They are also great for kids. We have 4 kid that have had good experiences at this dentist now.They are a small family run dental office, but you wouldnt know that until you start talking to them. Very clean and professional office conveniently next to Target. Couldnt be happier. This is one of the few places that I would give 6 stars to if allowed.

Dr Kim and Mimi are amazing. The entire staff has been so accommodating for our family. It’s so hard to find a dentist that shows they really care, and we have been so happy to be Patients here. They have gone above and beyond to make sure we are cared for-most recently they saw my husband when he had a dental emergency and although it make their schedule tighter, they made it happen no problem. My husband and I are so happy that we found this place! They are super informative about everything they are doing and are so willing to give helpful tips! I recently had to go in for a cavity fill and it was the most painless experience you could imagine. I didn’t even notice when he gave me a shot! It was so quick and easy (which I am so thankful for because I really hate needles). As someone who has not got in for a cleaning since I was kicked off my parents insurance at 26, I was a bit nervous to choose a new dentist in my network. Luckily, Hazelnut Dental was a great pick. I’ve been a patient at Hazelnut for 2 years or so and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Great COVID protocols in place and a super clean office. Every visit is efficient, professional and the communication is excellent. My personal favorite part of going here, after my prior dentist, is that there’s no pressure to upsell you on procedures or products you don’t need, just honest talk about what’s best for your personal situation.

Hazelnut Dental is the absolute best dentist my wife and I have been to. Mimi is so warm and friendly as soon as you get there and takes a genuine interest in you as a person. Dr. Kim is also very caring with each of his patients in all of the work my wife and I have experienced. He takes the time to explain what he’s doing and is mindful of any previous experiences and makes you truly feel heard in the experience. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Dr. Kim and Mimi are very friendly and welcoming! My husband and I had previously been seeing a dentist who was a little pushy about getting unnecessary procedures done. Dr. Kim was very reassuring we dont need those procedures. He explained each step as he cleaned and made us feel very comfortable. The office is lovely and clean. Dr. Josh and Mimi are wonderful! They really take care of their patients, make you feel at ease and keep a very clean and sterile office. During pandemic times, and even before, the office and exam rooms are kept clean. And now, they’re taking extra precautions like limiting people in the lobby, pre-screening and deep sterilization of rooms between patients. All of which is much appreciated! Dr. Josh keeps up with all the latest and greatest dental tech and incorporates it into his practice. I’d recommend anyone looking for a new dentist or a change in care to check them out. I’m very selective in my healthcare provider team and glad to have found them.

Dr Kim was very kind and compassionate with my daughter, but I wish he would have taken the time to communicate with my husband and I regarding her assessment. He gave my 17 year old daughter the terrible news that she would need to have all of her teeth taken out and implants put in. Due to the severity of the sort of prognosis, I wish he would have communicated this information to my husband or I directly. My husband was in the car and not allowed inside due to Covid. Our daughter was understandably in shock by the news and was unable to really explain to us what he told her. We had to call his clinic numerous times to try to get an understanding of what the situation was. In the end, we were told that we needed to come back in for another appointment for him to explain our daughters condition. When I tried to share our frustration by the way that it was handled and asked if the doctor could just talk with us by phone Instead of coming in, I was told that it was my daughters fault for not asking for her parents to be present (my husband was asked by their clinic to stay in the car). When I tried to explain that I wish that the doctor would’ve asked for my husband to come inside (or at least got him or I on the phone) to hear about her potential need for complete mouth restoration I was met with hostility and told that we were not a good fit. Really surprised that a medical provider would give a minor information such as this without a parent present and that the provider is unwilling to talk with us about his findings.

I browsed dental recommendations on Nextdoor looking for dentists that can manage someone like me with extreme dental anxiety. About 5 people referred me to Dr. Kim! So glad I found him. He is very skilled, knowledgeable and gentle. He is also extremely honest and will not recommend treatments unless absolutely necessary. I’ve found my new dentist.Mimi runs the front of the house and is so friendly and responsive to calls and emails and handling insurance issues. And they are only letting in one patient at a time due to COVID. I was very worried about exposure in a dental office since you can’t wear a mask, but they are doing it absolutely safely! It is a very clean and modern space with all the shiny new equipment. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to Hazelnut Dental.

I’ve been putting off going to the dentist as my previous dentist nearby was a nightmare. In passing, I was introduced to Hazelnut Dental by a close girlfriend of mine. I have to say, Dr. Kim was everything she said he would be! Just so so nice and answered my laundry list of questions. He genuinely cared about my concerns and reassured me. My dental health is very important to me. My long time dentist retired and I was desperate to find a new one. In the interim, I tried one, but the experience was less than I was accustomed to. I just happened to stumble onto Hazelnut Dental, walked in, and asked if I could schedule a cleaning. The staff was very helpful and Dr Kim was amazing! He takes the time to answer questions, is super thorough, and gentle. He clearly cares about his patients and I feel incredibly lucky that I found this practice. I highly recommend him! A++!

This is hands down my favorite dentist office I have ever been to! I highly recommend this office for family friends and children. Every time I have gone I have had the best customer service. Mimi the front desk gal was incredible. I had some tooth pain, once I expressed this she made it her mission to get me in. She moved appointments around in order to squeeze me in. The fact that she did that made me so happy to see that there are still good people out here. She didnt have to, but she did and I am so grateful. Not to mention Dr. Kim he was the best dentist I have ever had. I have some anxiety about the dentist even at 29 years old. I cannot praise Hazelnut dental enough! We are new to the area and I found a concerning spot on my 4 year olds tooth. They were able to get him SAME DAY, and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Kim is phenomenal and walked my son through everything he was about to do, showed him the instruments and patiently answered all his questions. My son was able to get a full cleaning with a dentist for the first time And left super excited about his dental health. I really appreciate the communication and honesty I’ve experienced with Dr. Josh at Hazelnut Dental. I was looking for a new a Dentist and came upon Hazelnut Dental just by chance. I googled them and he had rave reviews. I went in and talked to them and they were as nice as can be. I made my appointment which was so simple. Something I wasn’t use to. The office had a great vibe. The receptionist is so on top of everything, also new for me. Dr Josh is one of the Best Dentist I have been to so far. He is not a corporate Dentist so he actually cares about his patients. So happy to have found him.

I have had so many different dentists over the years thanks to moves, insurance changes, and just trying to find one I like. Dr. Josh at Hazlenut dental is hands down my favorite dentist and Id highly recommend him. I have dental anxiety, even just for cleanings, and for the first time ever I wasnt even stressed for my last cleaning. I havent needed any dental work with him, but Id fully trust him for it. He also does Invisalign, which makes it super convenient to go through my dentist instead of a separate orthodontist or having to wait several months just to get a new patient appointment with an orthodontist. Overall, Dr. Josh goes above and beyond for his patients, has great bedside manner, explains the procedures while hes doing them, and doesnt push for anything unnecessary.In addition, Mimi is fantastic and also goes above and beyond for their patients, is extremely kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Its so nice to be treated more like family when calling in instead of just another random patient in the office. I love the small office feeling!Their office is also extremely clean and they are being fantastic about Covid precautions to keep their patients safe.Overall I just cant say enough good things about Hazlenut dental!

I had been raised with an excellent dental team as a child, but then had encountered several less than stellar dentists as I moved around as an adult. I was very hopeful that Dr. Josh would be up to par with my expectations, and the visit did not disappoint. He was very thorough in the examination and cleaning, asked great lifestyle questions that helped tailor his exam and recommendations, and provided several options as to how to address my concerns. I called Hazelnut Dental after finding out that my current dentist had pulled out of Medicare, and my insurance no longer carried his clinic.The Hazelnut Dental office specialist answered my questions, called my insurance company to insure that they were in my network, and scheduled me for an appointment on the same day! Check-in was fast, and the office specialist is extremely friendly. The environment is modern and is arranged to welcome people of all ages.I was totally amazed by the fact that Dr. Kim took an hour and a half with me, and he did the complete exam and cleaning. Josh and his crew are hands down the best. No one likes to go to the dentist. From the moment you walk in they make you feel comfortable. Josh explains exactly what he is doing. I’ve gotten a crown and routine exams from Dr. Kim. Unfortunately this isn’t my first time getting a crown, and often times I am left uninformed by the procedure and just pay with other dentists. But not Dr. Kim! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to educate and share that knowledge so the patient can make an informed decision of the treatment. I really appreciated the time he took to tell me what he recommends and shows me in the xrays the plan. He is also very easy to talk to and my crown fits perfectly. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Kim. Will come back as a regular.

Just stopped in after lunch to check the place out, as I do not currently have a dentist. It was nice and comfortable and the staff was friendly. I got a quick cleaning and exam, he was very straight forward and honest. It was also very nice, not having him try to force all of his available treatments on me whitening ect. I am so glad I found this place! I had my first appointment there yesterday and had a wonderful experience. As someone who has had bad experiences at other dentists in the area and suffers from anxiety at Dentists, Dr. Josh was incredible. His work is great and he was very comforting to ensure I was doing okay during the procedure. I left with my smile back and with no pain afterwards.

VERY DISAPOINTED AND MISSING MORE TEETH From the initial review till now I have had to change my posting as when I went in for the third time of service they scheduled a cleaning that I wan not aware of, I though my teeth that needed crowns were going to be done and with the limited amount of dental insurance I have I did not want to use limited insurance money on cleaning as I needed the crowns. Also the filling that was done before had cracked and a piece of my tooth chipped off that Dr. Kim had done a filling on, when I went in he said it was not an issue (this was during the cleaning I had walked out from) After that the tooth next to the one that had just chipped broke my other tooth, one of the teeth that needed a crown. When I called to schedule an appointment in late December I was told to find another dentist (I should have listened then and found another dentist) Now both of the teeth that needed crows are past any treatment and need to be removed as they finally called me in for a quick charge to my insurance 5 month later. (I was very put off being told to find another dentist for no reason that was explained) (Previous Post before all the ISSUES) Dr. Kim is an amazing dentist he answered then explained all of the questions I had as well as a through explination of my current dental issues. This is after my second visit where he was fantastic as well. I have personally been afraid to go to the dentist after past expirences. Dr. Kim is the best dentist I have ever had and makes me feel comfrotable, he is very kind and caring about how you feel during your visit! Thank you Dr. Kim!!!) What a tragic mistake giving the first review a good status without going through the whole process he seams nice at first but the work he did and how I was treated speak for themself as to bad quality and communication .
