Shannon Family Dentistry has always focused on minimizing discomfort and is damned good at it.Theyre always a pleasure to speak to. While they can be brutally honest when it comes to your teeth, they really do focus on getting and keeping your oral health well.Theyre the best dentists Ive ever had and I can honestly, wholeheartedly, recommend them.

By far the best dentist Ive ever been to. I was having tooth pain for a while that prevented me from eating on one side. I was constantly going back and forth to my last dentist getting the same results, which was an unresolved problem. I decided to get a second opinion and Im glad I did! Dr. Shannon knew exactly what was wrong within a few minutes. We have now resolved the issue and I can chew on both sides of my mouth again!Dr. Shannon is now my dentist and I trust him fully. He listens to everything you have to say and asks questions to make sure things are going fine. He also calls after each procedure to check up on you. The staff is also professional and friendly. I am always very busy with either work or school so I love that they work with my schedule and know that I always want a very early appointment. Im happy that I found Dr. Shannon and his staff because they are awesome!

Dr. Shannon, everyone in the office, and every assistant Ive come in contact with is helpful, personable, and does a great job. I dont know if a person can LIKE going to the dentist, but I do enjoy seeing them all and know Im in good hands. They were even great with my little one. He felt big, comfortable, and like the star of the show.

I can’t say enough great about Dr. Shannon and his ENTIRE staff! After I had some reluctance and hesitation with a treatment, Dr. Shannon was supportive, understanding, and sympathetic. He encouraged me throughout and, because of that, I have been able to get relief from a chronic issue. This office has been amazingly kind...and gives the best cookies (I know, right!)!!

Need the best dentist on this side of the Mississippi? Look no further. Seriously Dr. Shannon has done different procedures on my teeth. All have come out fantastic. Staff well trained and nice. He takes very excellent procedures to protect against Covid-19. So no worries! Go in and relax because all will be fine!

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Shannon and his staff. I went to him for 5 years while living in Baton Rouge. I even called his offices after I moved away for a new job, to find out if they would take my new insurance. Unfortunately for me they dont, but if they did I would definitely make the 10 hour drive or 2 hour flight to ensure I was getting the best dental care. The dentists in my current area are butchers compared to Dr. Shannon.

Dr. Shannon has done an excellent job helping me with my dental health. Right from the start, Dr. Shannon and his staff asked me the right questions, made me feel at home and very comfortable. My last dentist made me feel like I was just one more cow on the cattle train. Dr. Shannon listened to my concerns and needs about the public speaking I perform at my job, and thus, I have to handle my dentistry in time blocks that are very important. Several times Ive had a horrid toothaches at off hour times, Dr. Shannon has met me st crazy hours to take care of MY problems on MY schedule.Dr. Shannons whole staff is professional, sensitive, careing and fun! I never ever thought Id say this but I actually look forward to going to the dentist! And above all, Dr. Shannon calls me after the procedure at night I to check on me and make sure Im ok. Now I bring my whole family here! And yes, he even calls my children after a procedure...and that means the world to them! Strongly recommended!!

I am a merchant mariner that experienced tooth pain on a ship. I visited Dr. Stephen Shannon office for the issue. Being that i will be on the vessel for a few months, he wrote a refill on a controlled medication. I discovered that was illegal and could not be filled by the pharmacist.(at walgreens less than 3 mins away) I contacted the dentist and informed him that the prescription needs to be written correctly. He responded Im already at home and we just have to hope for the best. Not to mention i was in an enormous amount of pain, especially after he applied pressure to the painful area. There was another gentleman there that was at the office who provide information and education on the dental options. He was the most helpful. However if you are looking for a dentist with the lack of integrity, hes the man!
