I can’t thank Dr. Farrugia and his team enough for a wonderful dentist visit. I went in for a cleaning, but also was having some tenderness in a tooth. He was able to locate the problem and fix it. I’ve been able to eat without any tenderness for weeks now! Thank you again for your professionalism and kindness!

Doctor Farrugia spends very little time with his patients. Also, I called to reschedule an appointment and said I had to call right back after asking my ride if she could bring me at that time. I asked if that was ok and the receptionist said its fine. I called back multiple times and kept getting their voicemail.

I recently had 2 fillings done & and within the first couple days had extreme tenderness and pain. I called the emergency number they provide for patients and never got a call back. I called several more times because the pain was so intense and unbearable so he allowed me to come in for a same day appointment to which he barely did anything. I was still in pain and was told to bite down a few times and it should go away.. it in fact did not. It only got worse. I called the office and was told that my options were either a root canal or extraction and opted for the extraction. I was told that he could do it and that theyd call me back once they could figure out where to fit me into the schedule. I never got the call. I called them in tears and was told that he doesnt feel comfortable because my tooth is big.. and they said they were referring me to an oral surgeon. I highly highly highly do NOT recommend them at all.. he is by far the WORST dentist Ive ever gone to. I am now stuck scrabbling around trying to find someone that is currently accepting my insurance and that can get me in for an emergency appointment because the pain is just too much. Id give them zero stars if I could honestly.

Excellent experience. I have a fear of dentist like a lot of people but Thomas and his staff made me feel very comfortable. Very clean office as well.. Highly recommend.

I get great service my hygienist always cleans my teeth good😁but as soon as Im done I never get my free toothbrush and toothpaste.

Recently had some extensive work done, it was quick, painless, and very comfortable.

If youre looking for a dentist, stay away from this guy. I went to him because he was the only one in the area that would take Medicaid funded insurance (Fidelis). I need a new crown-bridge but Fidelis wouldnt pay for it, of course. At the same time Obamacare will only allow me to go to a Fidelis provider, even if Im paying for all the work done. I tried over 20 dentists in the area and either they didnt take Fidelis insurance because they are so terrible, or they were not allowed to take me because of some part of the Obamacare law. Farrugia knows this, so he gave me an outrageous estimate for the dental work thinking I had no choice but to go to him. I finally found a great dentist in Houghton and they requested my dental X-rays from Farrugia. However, Farrugia refused to email the high quality digital X-rays. Instead, he sent by snail-mail worthless computer printouts that my new dentist couldnt read because they were so fuzzy. A request to Fidelis to get new X-rays taken was denied, and again I could not pay for the new X-rays myself because of the way the Obamacare law is written. Farrugia thought he had me over a barrel trying to force me to go back to him, but I just waited the assh@#* out. Ive been going around with two front teeth missing for over two months, but with the new year now here, Im able to get a new insurance provider and start all over again. In the end, because Im a poor retired school teacher, I learned through the Houghton dentist that I qualify for subsidized dental work (40% off!), and the Houghton practice offers low cost financing too. I can get a whole new full bridge (not just a cap that Farrugia was going to do) for far less than what Farrugia was going to charge me. Anyway, stay as far away as you can from that scamming guy or risk paying through the nose.

By far the most positive dental experience of my life. I came in for an emergency toothache and needed a root canal. The staff worked with me to explain my insurance and financing options, provided conservative treatment to save my tooth, and answered my questions and explained the procedures and diagnosis thoroughly. Dr. Tom Farrugia worked quickly and with concern for my comfort throughout the procedure; his assistant was friendly and well-trained, helping to ease my hesitation and fear. I will recommend this office to my friends family and co workers, the talented care I received in a relaxing atmosphere cannot be topped. For the first time in my life, I look forward to my next visit to the dentist! Thank you so much!

I was an idiot and let one of my teeth rot. A friend recommended Dr. Farrugia, and Im sitting here writing this with a hole where that poor neglected tooth used to be.The staff are wonderful. They listen, speak softly, and seem genuinely interested in your comfort and well-being. After the initial visit, which turned into an impromptu cleaning (my first in 8 years), I scheduled the extraction and never felt nervous. They were so professional, honest, and comforting, I totally relaxed.Happy to come back any time and open my mouth for Dr. Farrugia and his staff. Thank you all!

Very nice, but doesnt do a proper filling on teeth, he just patches over them which cause major problems later. I would take a less personable dentist for a more adequate one.

Im josh not kathryn ...i had fillings done and now I cant eat cant chew and have had extreme nerve pain for over 2 weeks ...have had many fillings In the past but never had a problem till I went here now may have to have 2 teeth pulled if another dentist cant fix his mistakes ..stay away just a warning unless you want more problems than you went in with my 4 year old niece is more compitent than this quack..now finding out theirs gaps in fillings shown through new xrays..now have to have his fillings dug out and redone and have one tooth pulled and still have nerve pain in another area that no one can seem yo figure out ....

This guy really cares about his patients. I have been to several dentists in my life and this one is the best I’ve seen
