On time, had all my insurance and costs figured out to make it a smooth process. They continually call to to see if I’m interested in earlier appointments when there’s a cancellation. Staff is friendly, offices are clean and up to date. Came back to them after seeing other dentist office due to changes in employment and insurance carrier.

Very clean and comfortable! I actually fell asleep (lol). Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The young lady who went over what I needed for payment made sure I understood completely without pushing and forcing numbers on me. I truly appreciated that. The doctor was amazing. He told info I had never heard regarding my teeth and explained in detail how to fix my problems and where to start. Very pleased with this establishment.

Went here for the first time about a year ago because I was referred by a friend and saw that they had many positive reviews. I had a filling done on the left side bottom molar. After the anesthesia wore off that night, I felt an uneven surface. I notified them the next day and I went in for a smoothing of my filling. It felt better afterwards and believed everything was ok. As the weeks went by little by little I began to feel the same uneven rough feeling. Due to COVID and the high number of active cases in town duirng that time, I opted to wait until it was safer. I switched to a new in network dental provided this year that has better contracted prices. After one of my visits, I asked if he could take a look at that molar. Turns out there is no problem with the filling, my tooth was chipped during the filling process. Due to the filling and its placement, the chipped portion is not fixable. I will now need a crown placed to prevent further breakage and damage.

I was very nervous about going to this dentist for four extractions. I finally faced my fear and went. One of my parents were able to sit in the room with me and that made me feel a lot more comfortable!! The extraction dr is very cool. If I felt any little pain he gave more numbing medicine. I would definitely go back. I dont plan on going to any other dentist ❗️

I have been Dr. Ching for over 18 years (since his tiny office on Stockdle). The new office appears to have everything in one spot and Saturday appointments, so it should earn a better review etc. However, my family travels over 1.5hours to get there and have for some time. Lately though every appointment 3 to 4) have been cancelled by the office stating they have an undisclosed emergency. My children (as well as my wife and i) have not been seen by a dentist in over a year. Worse, with our most recent experience, they cancelled and refused to my little one even though I told them she had a tooth hurting and may have a cavity. Were looking for a new dentist currently.

My 15 year old daughter had to go in on her own because I had a meeting at the same time and getting her in at all was incredibly difficult. The hygienist was rude to my daughter and told her it didn’t look like she brushed her teeth and had clearly never flossed. This is not true.Then the dentist came in, glanced at her teeth, told her she had a cavity that needed to be filled and then walked out. Then the hygienist went back to cleaning with no discussion or conversation about it. My daughter was very upset about her treatment. Every other dentist we’ve had has taken the time to explain to us what the problem is, how severe it is, and how critical (or not) it was to do the work.I decided to switch her to my dentist, who I’ve had great experiences with. (I hadn’t taken her there yet because my dentist didn’t list pediatric dentistry on their list originally, so I thought a family dentist would be more appropriate.)When I called to get my records, they charged me 25.00 for her records!!! Per office policy, I was told. I would NOT choose to bring my children here again. We haven’t ever had an amazing experience and last week was just awful. Woolf dental is the way to go!

I always have a good experience here at Southwest. Little to no wait time and sometimes, if they have availabilities for certain services that day (is.cleaning), they ask if you want to go ahead and get it done right then and there instead of booking for another appointment in the future. Staff is always nice and friendly. Informative and they also remember you. I was gone for a year and they still remember me. Place is nice and clean and they allow me to have my child during the visit and even gave him a ballon. Some places don’t even allow children during your visit.

My 5 year old son had an appointment and I was nervous because he can be very anxious but the staff were able to calm him completely. By the the end of the visit, he was joking with staff! I like how patient they are with my 3 year old. They always try different approaches if shes too stressed and try to make her as comfortable as possible. Extremely great doctors and staff, very friendly and helpful. I had a lot of work done, wisdom teeth, root canal, crowns, and fillings, and I experienced little to no discomfort during or after the procedures. I would highly recommend these guys.

As always a great experience. I had to visit from out-of-town this time. During my cleaning an old filling had to be replaced. They were able to take care of me the same day, keeping me from having to return at later date.

Saw Dr. Ching here and then had three wisdom teeth extracted by the oral surgeon Dr. Tran. Two of them had grown in sideways, so it wasnt a simple extraction.But the recovery was smooth. The pain medication prescribed kept things under control and got me through the worst of it which was the first two days post-op.After a week, the pain had almost entirely subsided. My sockets are almost completely closed off/healed over at the 2 week mark.Follow the doctors instructions and youll avoid dry socket.Also excellent care from the dental assistants/hygienist.

Southwest Family Dentistry stands by their work and name. They take pride in their work allowing you to fill like your at home with Family and Friends. Their waiting room is comfortable. In my experience when they schedule you at 1600 hrs your seen at 1600 hrs. True perfectionist! I give them a five star rating.

I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and I was beyond terrified. Day 3 and I feel better. Not as hard. But the surgeon was amazing! I highly recommend Southwest Family Dentistry from staff to dentist and surgeon. I was shaking and sweating a lot. But with my earbuds on and how awesome Maria Medina was I cant say enough. I have more to do and they have an action plan ready to go. They set me at ease for future visits.

The Doctor is amazing and great with kids. The front office girls are rude and not understanding for things that are out of our control. We live 28 miles away and it took us over one hour due to traffic; we called 15 minutes before to let them know we were running late, and the ladies were trying to reschedule my five year old daughter’s appointment. Come on! They should have been proactive and have everything ready to go. I know if we were there on time, they would have me sit in the lobby for 10-15 minutes anyways. The only reason they took her in is because we complained. I understand you want to leave before closing hour, but patients come first. Btw, we were done 10min before they closed, and that included being 10min late and 6 min of arguing with the lady!

I have been coming to this wonderful establishment for a while now. I used to hate going to the dentist but that was before I came here! Every visit is very enjoyable and pleasant. Every employee will greet you and ask how you are and I really enjoy that personal interaction I get with everyone. Very clean and professional!

Other reviewers are correct: this offices tries to make as much money as they can. I realized this too late when I was already several hundred dollars in debt. Once insurance coverage was maxed, they suddenly didnt care much about my teeth. Fillings fell twice within two months. Never going back. Assistants are really nice but administration only sees dollar signs.

I was able to get in quickly for tooth pain. I didnt have to wait long and my problem was taken care of.

So this rating is coming from our first visit today. I have to say a lot of me is relieved after coming to Southwest Family Dentistry. We had a horrible experience a few days before with another dentist who was aggressively trying to talk me into doing a double root canal on my son that very same day! I was hesitant, and rightly so.The office is gorgeous, super clean and tidy. The front desk was very polite and the dental assistant that helped us was very sweet to me and my son. The dentist who did the final exam did not push any procedure on me, infact she was very honest and reassuring that all we needed to do at that moment in time was to watch the tooth. No need to do an unnecessary procedure. I left feeling confident that I had found the right dentist for my entire family. Thank you Southwest Family Dentistry!

Took my son, who is 3 and non verbal borderline autistic, to the dentist for the first time today. My husband and I were super nervous, we have heard lots of stories of bad experiences with children and the dentists, but Southwest Family Dentistry was amazing. They were kind and patient, while being friendly and so sweet to my child. My son had such a good time there, between the video games, toys, and balloon- he didnt want to leave. And best of all NO CAVITIES!! It was such a great experience, I recommend this place to everyone.

Dr. Medina was amazing. She treated me like a person, not just another patient. She made sure to give me a blanket and some headphones so I could listen to music while she removed all my wisdom teeth. I was given nitrous oxide, which was free, along with shots to numb me. She made sure I was ok throughout the entire procedure. She was very catering. The entire staff there is excellent with their patients n made me feel comfortable at every visit. They are very catering to your needs. There is not one negative thing to say about this place.
