This place lacks human kindness. I told the doctor if she couldnt see my son in person there was really nothing she could do. Her response was your still going to be charged for this telehealth visit. Mind you she did nothing, absolutely nothing.

I was scheduled for a phone appointment today at 4pm, I even received a text message a couple days prior to confirm the appointment, which I did confirm, then after waiting 30 minutes for them to call I ended up calling them to see what the issue was. Apparently the provider I was scheduled with wasnt even in the office today and they didnt even bother to notify me! I left work early for this appointment which I hate doing since I do in home therapy for autistic kids so one of my kids lost an hour of therapy for nothing. The staff and my Dr in general are pretty decent but their communication sucks with patients and other staff.

This review is for the dentist office at Omni Health. Long story short. The temperature screener lady locked me out and lied to me that they were closed(2 hours early). I arrived at 3:10PM. Calling beforehand if they can see me. They said yes, to just hurry in. I had an emergency visit. Impacted wisdom teeth were making my jaw/face hurt. I just needed a prescription for ibuprofen to hold me over until I can see a surgeon for extraction. I called admin and they said the screener was lying. So admin walked me in. Just crazy... Who lies to go home 2 hours early? This is a health facility, not a pizza parlor. Get another job if you dont like it. Dentist and assistants were great. I was in and out in 25 minutes. Avoid the screener if she lies that theyre closed and locks you out. Call the dentist office and speak with admin. Just a heads up.

The dental Dep and the its staff are so nice and friendly after many times wisiting the place but in general the facility is unorganized. The gretter is not so friendly and to some extent rude.In the morning in cold weather at time of check in she kept me out of the building while inside in lobby was only one patient waiting for her turn.woundering why I had to be waited outside until to be phoned? If that is the new policy to keep the patients out of the building, this should be notified or at least the greeter is instructed to say that in nice way.

The staff, including the doctor I had (forgot his name) are all so impatient, rude, and need to learn how to communicate with each other. I shouldnt have to explain something that theyve already confirmed with me four times. Do you people not take note when your patient gives you important information? And why are you screaming so rudely just because someone walked in without getting their temperature check? And you would think the doctor would read the words right in front of his face before questioning me. You went to how many years of college and you cant read basic instructions on a form? These people need to learn patience, communication, and simply just talking to the people they work for kindly. Also, I waited in line for like 20 minutes and the front desk lady said oh, is there someone in line? Like come on lady, cant believe you sat there for 20 minutes doing nothing and not even seeing if theres someone in line.

Nothing but praise for the Dental half of Omni Family health. Wait time is usually less then 10 minutes. The staff is very helpful and friendly. When I need dental work done, they take the time to explain my options and never rush me into a decision. I always know EXACTLY how much something costs before any procedure and never any surprise charge Whenever I need work done that they dont perform, like root canals, referrals are easy with an extensive list of options.

The chiropractor is stellar! He gets 5 stars. However this facility doesnt care about medical disabilities the mask. My daughter is 14, autistic and has severe uncontrolled epilepsy . I cannot leave her in the car. And now if I have to bring her inside I get to risk a mask triggering a seizure.

I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely the worst dental experience I have ever had. I feel that being soaked, choked, gagged, stabbed under my tongue, and having a drill shoved up under my gums for a BASIC CLEANING was unnecessary. I did not even let them polish my teeth because I was so upset by the time they got finished with the cleaning part. I have never had an issue with getting my teeth cleaned, and I do so routinely. This was my first time here with new insurance and I will absolutely never go back.

Dr Sarva is one of the Best Doctors I have met, she have lot of patience while she talks to her patients and take good care, she understands the problem and give appropriate suggestions and treatment and staff inside the clinic area very very good and understand the needs of the patients. Visited Omni Health today, front office staff are very professional and very very helpful. They go out of way to help the clients.

If i could take away stars i would! Dr.Awadalla took me off a medication i have been taking for 20 years without notice just because the pharmacy had a question! He doesnt care about his patients and refuses to give me enough medication to last until I can find another Dr. Despite knowing I could have seizures or even die without tapering down!!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. The doctor refused to prescribe me medication I have been taking for 10+ years because it is addictive. He also refused to prescribe me anything to deal with withdrawal. I reported him to the medical board and I hope he loses his license. He should not be practicing.

I wouldn’t even give this place one star, my son was taken there 2 days ago, this doctor told us my 3 month old baby should only weigh 8 pounds, then proceeded to tell us that he’s not sick even though he’s coughing and can barely breathe, we were also told not to give him anything to help or to help with his fever, so we took him to urgent care and they treated him for bronchitis. The urgent care obviously said to not let his fever go untreated.

I had a procedure done July 12, was scheduled to go over the results of my biopsy two weeks after the surgery. I had two visits with the Dr. Once she said they had no received the results from kmc and wanted me to sign a release of records form. I had no problem doing that. Then a few days later I went back, waited nearly two hrs to be told they still did not get my results in. I waited in the exam room and the lights turned off on me 4 times! At that point I was pretty livid! The Dr finally said is it ok for me to call you with the results? I said ok sure. So the next day I called to see if the results were in. One receptionist said no but would leave a message for the Dr which will take 24-48 hrs. Um no that isnt going to work for me! So I called kmc to see if they could help me out. One lady there said she already faxed that last week. I called the medical records department and was told they would get on it and call me back. Guess what? No call. Im at it again this morning calling them to see if they got it and still nothing. Even at that the last told me to get again call kmc to see if they got the request from omni. Im so over having to do their job at this point. So I called and kmc said nope we did not get anything, also may I add that the lady already knew who I was and yet again just informed me to come pick it up. So I called omni and said nope they didnt get your request. I said ok well then can you call to fix this issue? She said well I just faxed it again so let me see if it confirms or not. Im not sure these ladies understand that obviously there is an issue between both faxes. If they didnt get the first one they sure as hell not going to get the 3rd of 4th. Come on Now! All I want is peace of mind on my results and you guys are making this entirely hard. Just do your job and ensure the patient is getting what they seek out to get. Oh and may I add I am told I would get a call back, guess what Im sure they wont. Thanks for nothing omni

If I could, I would have not gotten my wife pregnant, dealing with Omni has not been a great experience.

I went here 4 times. The front desk staff are typically unhelpful and tell you to come back if you dont have an appointment, even though they take walk-ins. Even when I had an appointment, I waited for over an hour in the lobby and then another 45 minutes in a room before the doctor saw me. Went back 4 times before bloodwork was actually performed on me, when my bloodwork should have been completed the first time. They kept making excuses, kept wanting me to come back another time to do tests, answer my questions, or prescribe me things when it could have been done the first time. Its also very difficult to call any Omni health location, because they want to route you to the headquarters. Headquarters often doesnt even answer the phone.

I waited 2 hours for a 5 minute appointment. Then the doctor I saw was arrogant, rude and wouldnt let me speak unless spoken to. He refused to give me the medication Ive taken for 10 years for seizures. These professionals are more worried about getting their licences flagged than caring for their patients. Worst mental health facility in bakersfield.

I contemplated writing a review. I just recently stopped seeing Dr. Goklaney. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional doctor in my entire life. This is is how my appointments usually go. I enter his office and he says absolutely nothing. I have to be the one to engage in conversation. He proceeds to stare at his phone the entire time and literally never looks up. He has an assistant type for him. I have to then tell him how Im doing (sometimes good, sometimes bad) and get the same answers no matter what I say. The very last appointment I had I told him about some issues im running in to. He actually said wait what because he didnt listen to anything I had actually said. I had even requested another doctor who I only saw once. I got a call the day of my 2nd appointment to be told that doctor no longer works there and I have to go back to Dr. Goklaney. So, I was out of medication for a month. Mental Health is not something you just mess with like that.If youre still reading this, let me tell you about the worst appointment of them all. I brought my sister in the room with me and he recognized her because shes a waitress at his favorite restaurant. They proceeded to chat for 15 mins and completely forget I existed. I froze of course and never had the chance to tell him how my medication is going. He pushed the boundaries by approaching her at said restaurant and offering her a job as a receptionist.I now have a different insurance and am so grateful I no longer have to see this doctor.

Where do I begin?Situation:My girlfriend had a miscarriage and I had to rush her to the ER. After she was discharged, the ER doctor told us to follow up with her OB/GYN within 3-5 days to make sure everything had passed. She called Omni and told them everything and they said that she would just have to come in as a walk-in on Wednesday when Dr. Lopez would be there. We went in as told and we waited and were told that Dr. Lopez wouldnt see us because he was all full for that day and they told us to come back tomorrow to see Dr. Patel, which is now today. This is the first complaint I have, which really isnt that big of a deal:I have a serious issue with this, because I think a doctor who cares about his patients should make time to take care of a couple who have just lost a baby. This is just my opinion, but I guess others dont feel this way and we are just a number to the doctors nowadays. I understand that doctors are busy and they have to cater to every patients needs, but he could take 10 minutes out of his day to just speak to us.This is the second complaint I have, which is entirely unacceptable:We kept our appointment today with Dr. Patel. We showed up at 1pm as instructed and waited for 45 minutes in the lobby until we were finally taken to a room. They told my girlfriend to disrobe and wait for the doctor to come in. We waited in there our room for an hour and a half. I kept peeking out of the door to check on things and i kept hearing the doctor in her office, talking to people. Every room was filled up with patients and we were second in line. We decided that enough is enough, so my girlfriend got dressed and we got our paperwork back and told them that we were leaving. All the girl said to us was that Dr. Patel was new and just started with them. This is just unacceptable. I understand people need training on how things work, but they should set aside spare time for these kinds of things, or figure out some way to do it, other than making patients wait 2+ hours after their scheduled time. I can honestly say that I have never walked out of a doctors appointment.Lastly, the staff at Omni look like they hate their lives when they are working. They are not friendly, they are not social and they just work like robot drones. We were early for our appointment, but had to wait in line for 10 minutes while ALL THREE girls behind the counter did nothing. They never acknowledged anyone in the long ling that was waiting and they looked like they didnt even care. When one of the girls took us back, she told my girlfriend to go pee, so she could have a pelvic exam. I asked the girl if they are going to want a urine sample (which they usually do for an OB/GYN appointment) and she said, oh yeah, let me get one just in case. Im glad I had to tell her how to do her job.Once we got home, I started calling around and asking doctors if they take MediCal and if they didnt, I would ask them to refer me to somewhere that does take MediCal, but IS NOT Omni. They would laugh every time and say how everyone hates Omni. I got a hold of an OB/GYN that takes MediCal and that has EXCELLENT reviews on google. We will never step foot in any Omni center ever again. If you are looking for an OB/GYN that take Healthy Familes/MediCal, contact Dr. Hans Yu. He is right there across from Omni on Brimhall and Calloway. Get your office and staff squared away Omni Medical Group.
