I had a great experience and the best dental work done by Dr. Bang. My overall visit was great. From the moment I walked in until the end of my visit. The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had a full exam, cleaning and treatment done all in the same visit. Everything was done in a timely manner and treatment was explained to me very well and thorough. I highly recommend this dental office, you will have the best service and treatment.

So glad I found this office. My regular dental office was closed while he was on vacation in Hawaii. This office was recommended by my coworker. They got my husband in next day for his broken tooth and took great care of him. On top of that, they even stayed late to take care of his tooth the same day. Top notch service and care! Switching the whole family here.

My kids come here for braces. Dr P is amazing and so are his assistants! They really treat you like family. The office is clean and the girls at the front are always friendly

Nothing But Issues with front office personnel. I show up for appointments that the office manager created for me and she says I dont have you on the schedule today Duh! And billing is a horrendous nightmare even with a dental plan. They act as if they have no clue what you are talking about pricing. Over charge big time. Make me pay for services that havent been completed yet. Very UNETHICAL business practicing here. No oversite from BBB or CDA. Do your homework before you go here. Dont let them try and bully you into something unnecessary!!! Endodontist is arrogant. NO GOOD!!!

Well I am here for my 3rd appointment. The first 2 I didnt not see the dentist for a full hr after my appointment time. Now on my third visit it is 35 mins after my time and Ive been waiting for 45 minutes. Dont expect to be seen on time unless you are known I guess. All times so far people have gone in before me that I feel shouldnt have. And its not to inefficiency its due to covid that my wait is so long.

This place is beautiful and calm place to go to. If you dont mind spending to take care of your teeth this is the place. They will always find something at evey visit even if you came for one thing. Not a good place for those in a budget!

Ive had nothing but issues with this office. They completely shut down for more then half a year canceling multiple appointments. My husband was see 3 months ago for a root canal and crown and every appointment that has been made for that have been a month out from the last appointment. His last appointment to get his permanent crown put on was supposed to be this Friday but they call today saying they need to reschedule. Not acceptable. They have already received payment and not all services were rendered. They use the excuse of Covid but there are other dental offices that are operating just fine. Dont go to this dental group I would suggest finding a more respectable one.

I will say this as polite as possible and I wanted to share because I didnt respond back or talk back to the staff member. Next time staff (specifically the one that I encountered) wants to compare their wait time with In-and-Out, please dont. They are completely 2 different types of services and that burger place is more popular and busier than this place. Secondly, please dont use the pandemic as an excuse for the wait time because we are already 7-8 months in. I work in a clinical setting, we get it done/ we work fast, and we dont ever keep our patients waiting for more than 25 minutes. By now, we should already be used to the COVID-19 changes and new procedures. I dont mean to put that staff member on the spot, but thats not a good way to respond to patients because you put me in a position that makes me look bad when I am simply asking where is the dentist (after quietly waiting/sitting in the dental room for 25+ minutes). A simple explanation is all I needed (because I honestly wanted to know what was going on and how much longer I was going to wait) and I would have understood.Overall, I give it a 4 because staff is good/great (Ive been coming here for 3-4 years) and services are reasonably priced.

Ive been seeing Dr. Bang and other specialists for many years. She does excellent work. Ive had cleanings,x-rays, extractions, root canals and crowns. All were done to the highest standards. The facility is immaculate and staff are constantly sanitizing the equipment after every use. I have had to wait quite a few times but was given the utmost attention when it was my turn. Also Dr. Bang is extremely gentle and always asking about my pain level during procedures. I would highly recommend this group. Jan Wiley

Great dental experience, I have been coming to this office for years. The front office staff is always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Bang is very professional and always explains the treatment I need so I understand the importance of my oral health. Reina, dental assistant, took my x-rays and assisted the doctor while I had some fillings done, she was very nice and professional. The dental hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth after I had my fillings done. Its great to walk in a place and get treated the same day and walk out with a great smile. I highly recommend this five star dental office.

So, I was in search for a dentist for a long time. Upon my arrival there, I was treated nice, friendly & felt welcomed from the Front Desk to the Surgeon. Dr. Yafai was very patient, caring & went thorough in explaining the procedure. To be honest, I was so nervous even though I tried to calm myself as best as I could but the whole staff made it feel comfortable & so much better. It was an amazing experience & am EXTREMELY blessed that I became a new patient there. I would highly recommend Bakersfield Dental Group and Orthodontics to my family and friends. I really appreciate the staff and doctors here. My husband and I have been going to Bakersfield Dental for the past few years and weve received excellent care. They make you feel comfortable and seem to genuinely care about their patients. Thats very important in my opinion. I like the fact that they also have their own specialists. Its so nice not having to drive across town anymore to have my root canal done!

Ive been to several dental offices in town and this office has been the best. Their fees were not low but worth it because you get what you pay for. I had some crowns done and they turned out looking very nice and natural. So much better than other ones I had before at another office. Im very happy with this office and their work and glad I returned.

Every time I come to an appointment I have a great experience. Everyone is very professional, nice, caring and make you feel comfortable. My cleaning and treatment was done the same day which worked out well with my busy schedule. Best of all they have every specialist and dont have to make a trip elsewhere. OMG! This is the absolute BEST dentist office I have ever been to. I have EXTREME anxiety going to the dentist and they made me feel like I was in the best hands and very understanding of my fear. Ive seen Dr. Bang and the specialist Dr. Hwang and they were both amazing, as well as their assistants. I am so happy and grateful to have been reccomended here. The entire office staff are friendly and very welcoming, your wait time is about 5 minutes for an appointment. You will not be dissatisfied coming here.

Start to finish, I had a great experience, contrary to the many poor reviews Ive seen on Yelp and Google. Id go as far as to say that its one of the best experiences Ive ever had at a medical facility. Prompt and friendly service in the front office. Many questions answered, relating to both the care itself and the cost of my options. All members of the staff, including the dentist, were patient and kind as I shared my concerns. The place was exceptionally clean, and all costs were verbally itemized and explained in advance of any decision-making, so that I was able to pick and choose what was appropriate for me during my visit, with honest professional guidance. At the end, we decided concisely, together and reasonably, what my next steps would be. Just a spectacular experience all-around for me; it seems theyre successfully working through whatever was causing their poor reviews in the past.

We have used Bakersfield Dental Group for over 10 years and have had excellent care, excellent customer service, and quality orthodontic and dental work, including surgery and extensive root canal repair, that has held up over time. I am very surprised by all the bad reviews! Though it is a clinic setting where there is a high turnover of dentists, the office staff and hygiene staff have been consistent and we have not had a bad experience with a dentist. Rarely do we have to wait past our appointment time. Our insurance has changed and we will miss Bakersfield Dental so much!

Had my appointment @ 8:00 its 9 and still have not been seen. The facility is dirty no toilet paper , no paper towels so make sure you bring your own. Staff are rude. Had to walk out off there taking my business some were else. If i can give no starts this place will get a negative one star.

Customer service is superb! From the moment I checked in, I knew I was in great hands! Treatment options were very well explained. I am usually one to ask A LOT of questions. Not one time did I feel rushed. A+!

The appoitment was 50 mintues behind. When I finally got called to the back the dentist rushed me and got upset when I asked questions. I was having a partial made and the dentist said she likes the fit and look, however she it not the one wearing it. What happened to the customer being happy, especially since I will be wearing it.

Really feel Ive finally found a great dental office for my family! Everyone was very professional and friendly. I didnt feel rushed like I did at my previous dental office. They took the time to take good care of me.

The reason I give 2 star is the administration. They may have good doctor but they Cancel or reschedule the appointment a lot .. they say insurance is going to cover 100% but then they dont care who they charge it to, as long they get the money..

Good day yall Im more shame if anything but I cant no more I just Put my self Put here to ask if any doctor will help me I really need help I dont have insurance but if I can be put in payment plan if thats possible Im sorry its just I sit here and wonder how many people will make fun of me but Im sorry I just no more the pain sometimes I wish I could just go the pain it to much I ask for help I know after I put this phone down i more bad about my self but if any dentist may help me thank you god bless you all

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. I had exam, cleaning and some work done. Everybody I saw was great.

Terrible customer service. I was there for over two hour for x-rays and to reschedule me for two other appointments. As others have said before, the Doctor looked at my teeth and told me someone would be in to discuss my options. An hour later, someone comes in ready to perform procedures without even discussing. I ended up getting a copy of my x-rays and leaving elsewhere.

HORRRRRRRIBLE!!!! The staff was so rude and unprofessional! It seemed like every time I asked questions whether it was over the phone or in person the receptionists and dental assistants seemed bothered by me! Towards the end of the end of the appointment they have a person review the amount they will need to collect before the next appointment, that person at first seemed helpful but the minute I informed her I did not have the amount on me she literally cut me off and said Ok, so you mean to tell me you dont even have $100 on you? She literally got up and said my appointment was over. Her tone completely changed when I told her I would need to wait to reschedule the next appointment. I called back to verify the amount she gave me the prior day and the receptionist was extremely rude and had me hold for over ten minutes to later find out that the person who could help me was not in the office. I left my contact info for a call back and I have not heard back. I just called back (1 week later) and they again formed me the person in charge of billing was out of the office. They are no help. I myself am receptionist for a office and I am just in awe of how poor they treat patients. I think more training should be given to the staff because the Dentist who assisted me was excellent! Its too bad the employees there carry bad attitudes.

This office is only concerned about ripping its clients. first thing they do is send someone to discuss the money options, dont even ask the Patient if he/she is interested in the procedure before going for financial terms.In my terms it is wasting someones time. Another main thing, in my case there was a screw up on my first visit. There was no Cleaning done, when called to complain was told by the Dentist (only after insisting the Front desk Girl & threatening to write to the Board if Dentist will not call back), there was a mistake. Was asked to reschedule another appointment to get the Cleaning done.The Insurance was billed for both visits, which is a FRAUD. When called the office back, was called back by some Office Manager who told me when I asked about it that They will be refunding the monies to the Insurance, but what about my inconvenience bluntly told Who cares. I am writing to the California State Dental Board about this FRAUD & issue.All Patients Current or Possible need to watch for.

The receptionist so rude, I was supposed to have some extractions per my Orthodontist, even though I have insurance they still wanted me to pay cash for the extractions. I called my insurance to verify, sure enough my insurance does cover extractions. I was so mad they wanted to charge me. I will NEVER go back again, and don’t recommend anyone else to go

I like the service however the wait time is horrible. I always have to wait at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment and it’s frustratuing. Why make appointments if you guys can’t keep them!

Took my children 6 and 4 for first time visit . Staff was great with my children !

So I took my son to this office to see their Oral Surgeon after he was referred by his current pediatric dentist to have some extra teeth removed … Honestly I was personally just dreading the appointment and my son was SUPER NERVOUS about the whole thing. I spent the entire week prior to his appointment listening to every rebuttal my kid could through at me for why he felt he just did not need to go.... My expectations going into the actual surgery appointment was that I was going to be in for an unpleasant day of listening to his normal loud crying and screaming routine.. To my astonishment though; the office was just full of super friendly employees that were willing to take their time to listen to both his and my concerns. I was also super impressed that the actual surgeon himself did an amazing job at keeping my son calm the entire time! The whole surgery was over in about an hour and my son made little to no peep! Even better than the non-crying child was that the surgeon also provided us with his personal cell phone in case we had any follow up questions or concerns. Kudos to the doctor for actually caring about my son’s fears and for also spending the extra time it takes to help an anxious child stay calm …. Thank you doctor!

I needed a lot of work: cavities, root canals, and a deep cleaning. I had arranged three appointments with them to space out the work (after my first initial appt of xrays and deep cleaning). On each of those appts, all they wanted to do was cleaning. The first 2 appts, I complained to the receptionist about only schedualing me for cleanings. On the 3rd appt they tried to do another cleaning and more xrays, and I had to tell them no and that I would leave if the dentist wasnt going to do any work on me. Got the dentist in, then made two additional appts for the rest of the work. They kept doing little work and kept pushing for more cleanings in order to schedule more appts for me, so I stopped going. This was very expensive and a huge waste of my time.

The only reason Im giving this one star at all is because the dental hygenist is amazing. Shes wonderful with my kids and very kind. The rest of the experience is beyond frustrating. Weve been going here for years now - sometimes even coming in from out of town. I always make our next appointment when one is over, and I always specifically make them for late December and June so that school is out. At least 3 times now Ive gotten reminder e-mails for appointment times I did not schedule, that we are not able to make. I made an appointment for June 22nd, only to get a reminder e-mail for appointments on May 31st. Ive been told by others who used to go here that the same has happened to them. Theyve even walked in with the appointment card given to them by the front desk staff to prove that their appointment time was changed, yet the staff still say it didnt happen. Our favorite hygenist is gone now anyway, so were moving onto a new facility.

Wouldnt confer with insurance before trying to charge me. Scheduled me for a xrays and cleaning only got xrays done save your time

Wonderful Dentist and the staff is amazing.

The insurance billing staff LIES and defrauds the insurance co and the client. they are contracted to my insurance co, yet routinely ask for amounts twice what they are contracturaly subscribed. my wife had work that they asked ~$3,100 for. We would have paid ~$2,000 for this work. I questioned this with the insurance co and the bill to us went down to $174. Dont go to this place. The inurance staff is in the buisness of deception, lying, tricking people and institutions.

Please do yourself a favor and do not step foot into this Dentist ever. Both my wife I felt that they were more about sucking money out of us than caring for our dental needs. I had to go back 3 times before my bridge was set properly and had to go through a lot of taking time off from work as well as going through unnecessary pain before finally getting it right. My wife on the other hand had problems with her dentures not fitting properly and was in quite a bit of pain before having them re-done again (Do you see a trend here?). The lab technician at the dental group had asked my wife to go down where they have the dentures made so she could be measured again and she was appalled when she arrived at this location because she describes it as sort of a sweat shop because it was a very small house in a not so good part of town which was very filthy and had nothing but old wooden planks for a floor. The people there didnt speak any English except for the person who measured her mouth which he had very broken up English. Just do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Now youve been warned and its up to you do the right thing.

So I went to this dentist for a cleaning. I waited in the room for about 1 hour. They had crappy magazines. The receptionist was very rude, but the cleaning went okay.Dont recommend highly
