Jessica did such a great job with my eye exam and my childs eye exam. She noticed that my kid was reading the chart backwards, left to right, every single time and noted that it usually happens with dyslexic children. I myself am dyslexic and thought it skipped my child, so Im grateful that she pointed that out so I can follow up with my kids pediatrician. Jessica also recommended a specialist because my kids vision doesnt correct to 20/20 with glasses. I appreciated their attention to detail because we caught it early enough that we can train my kids brain to compensate over time.As far as the glasses, they had such cute frames but they were out of our price range, so Jessica talked to Fernando and they worked out a deal so we could BOTH get 2 pairs of glasses, with bifocals for my kid, for $59 per person. We were able to get two eye exams and 4 pairs of glasses for less than $120 in total, out the door! We highly recommend Stanton Optical to anyone in need, and they were actually cheaper than any on-line store weve used. (We ALWAYS, always buy glasses online, but Stanton Optical gave us a deal we couldnt refuse and we feel blessed to have found this shop!)Bring your kids, your parents, your friends, and I promise you wont regret it.

I was up in Bakersfield on vacation the weekend of July 23rd and my contacts fell out in the pool that weekend. Stanton optical was able to get me in within an hour of me calling which was so helpful!! Jessica, the sales lady, was absolutely fantastic!! Went here for an eye exam because it was the only place that would give me a same-day appointment. That’s what the one star is for. The exam was done through a lady on a screen rather than in person. Had I known that beforehand, I would have gone somewhere else. I was told I have “large caps” in the back of my eyes, and to go see an ophthalmologist. No explanation on what that even means. While there, I saw other people seated, getting a thorough explanation of their eye exam results, but I was not given that. I ended up getting my glasses for astigmatism but I do not feel confident the prescription is even accurate because of having the exam done in the fashion that it was.

I was very pleasantly surprised, by the efficiency and professionalism of your employees the two that stood out were sol and Josie, your sales manager she explained everything to me in great detail and even checked my prescription and told me why my eyes were bothering me when I read. I want to start by saying This place is a joke!!I had to drive 1 hour to come to this appointment and to wait more than 1 hour. just to be told the ophthalmologist was not there and they didn’t schedule my appointment with her in the first place. So they told me they would still do the regular exam and then schedule another appointment with the doctor. Well the guy that was going to do the eye exam was also very rude. He did not want to do the test he was complaining and was just looking for excuses and giving an attitude so they ended up not doing the exam.Very bad service what a waist of my time. I will not come back to this place.

My experience was good. Fast, not time consuming, next day appointment. Other offices a 3 month wait?? When you want to get it done a good place to go to. Online scheduling, easy.

Carol, Josie and the optometrist were very patient, friendly and understanding. They made the process very easy, answered any questions I had and were very informative. There was a bit of a wait time on both visits but that’s understandable due to the amount of customers they have and the process of getting new glasses and eye exam, you definitely do not want to rush that. Came to Stanton for some glasses and never thought I’d meet someone like Fernando G and his sales manager Josie. These two are beyond words when it comes to be informative, helpful and more than beyond met my expectations when it came to my budget!

I just wanted to share with you all of my experience with stanton optical today. I was having trouble seeing through my existing glasses. I called the to make a appointment and they were able to make a appointment for me. Upon arriving I meet with Sophia she was very helpful taking the time to help me find the perfect pair of glasses and explain all of my options. When it came time to check out Josie came over and gave me a great deal on buying 2 pairs of glasses. I had a great experience and would recomend Stanton Optical to all of my friends and family.

First time I came here was excellent. Second time I had issues with my prescription it wasn’t quite right. Everyone was so nice at the beginning until I asked for a refund on the glasses I purchased with cash after multiple attempts to try to fix them. Left messages for Fernando (manager) with Josie to call me back since she told me he had to authorize the refund but never called me back. Josie was so rude and disrespectful doing hand gestures when I was talking to her about my refund again she was nice until then. I have to say thank you to Cynthia and Mario for trying to help but won’t be going back because of people like Fernando and Josie. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

Went in to get some glasses the other day. I’ve never been here before and wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s been years since I’ve had my eyes checked. an employee by the name of Jefferson greeted me and helped me with everything I needed. He explained everything in details to what was wrong with my vision to what frames he liked and what add ons he recommended I should get. I walked out spending a little more than I expected but honestly it was completely worth every penny. I’m very satisfied with my help and would definitely tell people to request him if they do come here for glasses.
