I seriously cannot recommend this place enough!! I have been a patient here for about a year now as I needed a new dentist when I moved to Arizona. I have had root canals, fillings, and teeth cleaning every 6 months here. I do not dread coming to the dentist because all of the staff here are SO NICE! I really enjoy getting to chat with the staff while I get my teeth worked on, it’s a very calm and welcoming environment. They have also have movies and blankets for longer procedures. I’ve recommended this practice to my friends and family because I feel so cared for here!

Overall phenomenal - from checking in to checking out. The entire team at this dental office ensures that you are comfortable and well taken care off. Dr. Morejon is amazing and is very detailed. Dental Assistant, Blair is as awesome. Providing the excellent services makes them an amazing team. I completely recommend this dental office!

I recently moved to Avondale Arizona and needed to find a family dentistry and I was recommended to Gentle Family Dentistry. I was amazed of the professionalism of the staff and the efficiency of how they conducted themselves. My appointment was at 4 pm and I was being seen by the dental assistant by 406 pm and the Dentist by 410 pm. I couldnt believe the efficiency. This happened on all of my appointments so far and I am thoroughly impressed compared to waiting up to 30 minutes prior to being seen at other dentists. The work they performed was painless and actually enjoyable experience. I have never liked going to the Dentist but I actually looked forward to going back and getting more work done. Dr. Clausen has been great. Ive been his patient sense the early 1990s. Unfortunately Ive had to have numerous caps put on. I thought after five the next one was free. I was wrong, its not like buying Pizza. Funny he was a Hockey and didnt loose any teeth. Great crew of people.

Both Dr. Clausen and Dr. Morejon are the bar by which others are held to. Their staff treats me and my sons as family and take care of our oral health as a priority. My son Dan had to have a multitude of unnecessary damaged fillings repaired that were put in by another, now recently retired, dentist that helped Dan be right again. The team worked with me in arranging payment since Dans insurance would not pay for the correctional dentistry a second time.

I was referred by a co-worker. So I called to schedule an appointment they were able to get me in that same day within minutes. It was great I got my cleaning and scheduled some work to get done the next day. I recommend Gentle Family Dentistry to everyone office is very nice,staff is wonderful.

Weve been seeing Dr. Clausen for all our dental needs for at least 25 years!! From routine checkups, cavities & crowns. Last month I needed a crown & Dr. Clausen as always, explained the procedure thoroughly & answered my questions. He indeed is gentle family dentistry! Thats why we go there :) When a procedure is to start we get to choose a good movie & use headphones & yes, even a nice warm blanket while they work on our teeth! Dr. Clausen is the very best dentist & very nice & thoughtful & cares for his patients. Very disappointed in the service. I am not a Dentist so I do not know what is considered needed or not. This office will tell you, you need services that are not covered by your insurance and then send you a bill later. I told the Dentist I am a single mother of 4 and need to get my kids teeth and mine checked out. If I would’ve know he was setting up a treatment plan based off items that weren’t required or covered by my plan which is a plus plan, I wouldn’t of gotten them done. I paid a lot of co-pay just to find out I am paying for services that weren’t even needed smh. They should be ashamed and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

The both of them made sure I was very comfortable through the whole process even giving me a blanket and putting on a movie while they worked on the root canal. I made the bad choice of not visiting the dentist after a tooth chipped a little over 3 years ago. I was experiencing about 4 days of pain every couple months. Well this month it SKYROCKETED! The headache was absolutely agonizing! I was told I need a root canal 2 months prior to this & I would simply CRINGE at the thought of this procedure that truly has gained a bad reputation. Everyone feels the need to tell you their horror stories in the case you bring up that you need one. Being a mom, I knew I HAD to take care of this....& soon. I could not go on like this. Two family members had been to this dentist just months prior, one of them had a root canal done here & HIGHLY recommended that I check them out. From the moment I walked into this dental office I felt my nerves immediately begin to calm. A beautiful, soothing atmosphere, with superb customer service. The hygienist, Blair was above and beyond! (she knew I was nervous) Offered a blanket in the case I got cold, was super attentive, & always made sure I was comfortable with every step. Best bed side manner yet! They were a bit busy that day, but being that I had amped myself to just get this over with I said I would wait. They numbed the side of my mouth to be worked on & had me relax and watch a movie in a room to myself. The procedure was pretty much seamless. What I had gotten myself SO worked up and anxious for was seriously for nothing. I am very please with the outcome of Dr. Morejons work & Blair there to assist him. I have already spread the word to my friends and family about this office. THANK YOU for finally bringing me the relief I NEEDED!!!

I hate the dentist... I’ve had so many horrible experiences growing up, and now I needed crowns and filling. I absolutely LOVE my experiences with Dr. Clausen and his staff. My billing and procedures are explained before any work takes place, they are attentive to the slightest indications of pain, and they always follow up with me to see how I am recovering. The work is always precise and never leaves me wondering if they did a good job. The office also process headsets and a diverse movie list to take your mind away from the sound of drilling. I refuse to go anywhere else for my dental work. Just an amazing dental experience .

I have been a patient at Dr. Clausens office for about 2 years. Along with having my teeth cleaned and checked twice per year, I have had two crowns replaced and one new one. Everything went well, and I havent had any problems. The staff is always friendly and the doctors are very informative.

I have always been EXTREMELY scared of going to the Dentist. But this place is top notch. The front desk staff, hygienist and Both Doctors are all amazing. I have not found a nicer place to go to get dental work done. They know me by my first name and always make me feel like family. I will forever go to Dr Clausen and thank him for the superior dental care.

Been coming here for about a year after seeing my previous dentist for about 25 years! Very friendly staff and comforting surroundings. I have enjoyed excellent treatment here while receiving two caps and other work. Never any pain, even during the usual numbing procedure, which makes the experience less stressful. Dental Assistant Blair in particular has been very pleasant and made my temporary caps feel as good as the real cap while I waited for the new caps. Highly recommend this dentist and staff who work together to make every appointment more relaxing.

As a recovering head gear wearing, impression gagging, give me nitrous dental cry baby, I have to give props to Dr. Clausen. He has been treating a root canal gone wrong for me and he has been incredible. Im benefiting from his expertise and years of experience as a new patient and could not be more impressed. I usually panic and feel my anxiety skyrocket at the mention of novacane because I dont want the needle experience but Dr. Clausen was steady handed and I felt nothing!!

Fantastic experience! I was a new patient today and a little nervous about going to the dentist. Everyone was friendly and professional. The hygienist and Dr. Clausen both took their time to explain things to me thoroughly.

After reading the comments for this dentist, I decided I would give it a try. I have always been nervous at the dentist and it was always a struggle to find a good one. I went in and was told I needed a root canal on my tooth. I paid half the amount due upon arrival.However, as they set me up for the root canal Dr Morejon decided I only needed a simple crown because it was savable. They placed a temporary crown on my tooth and I was expected back in two weeks, no longer than that or an infection could occur under my tooth. I went in on my appointment day and they asked for $250. I had my mom call to clarify and they changed the price over the phone to her, to a lesser amount while I was still there. I was absolutely confused and understood I was being taken advantage of over my age. I explained with COVID and being only 18, I couldn’t pay that full amount but I could definitely do half and my insurance had already been billed. NaQuia, the receptionist,explained that this was not acceptable and it was either I pay or wait until I could. She pushed their credit card line on me and I refused over and over. She came behind the counter and was very unprofessional . I explained how the temporary crown was causing me severe pain, but she said “I could only be looked at” and not have it replaced to help the pain. I had to come back after having it on for a month and by that time I had become used to the pain surrounding that tooth. The office staff seemed to make me very uncomfortable after this situation and I felt judgment from each of them. On my next appointment I then was able to have the permanent crown placed and automatically it was sensitive. I couldn’t eat or drink a thing without it becoming painful. Unfortunately, this caused me to make another appointment to see if there was any problem and if it could be fixed. Dr. Morejon said they “sped up the process of the tooth infection “ by placing the crown and there wasn’t much he could do and it could only get worse. He also said my “tooth was bad to begin with”. I was baffled by this statement because I should have just had a root canal like I was meant to and would not have to have suffered this long. He then began to explain how he wanted to refer me to a root canal specialist. This was extremely upsetting as my insurance was charged $1400 for this crown, just to be told I will need a root canal, Only 2 weeks after having it. He didn’t seem apologetic and was very in and out of the room. They never explained if the X-rays seemed right and all he did was shave my crown down for some “relief”. I now have an aching crowned tooth and need a root canal. I would think in a pandemic this establishment would be way more understanding and considerate to my situation, but that was not the case. Dr. Morejon and his staff seem to be very unprofessional and I would hate for anyone to experience what I have. Would not recommend.

I had a root canal and crown done in December 2020 and was very impressed with scheduling and the proficiency of the procedures. Dr. Clausen and his staff (Blair) were “Gentle” and concerned about my comfort level the entire procedure. Overall I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Clausen.

Today was my first time coming here. The office was comforting. The staff are very friendly. I’m getting a root canal done and did t feel any pain through out the process. They even put a movie on for me. I’ll be coming here from here on out.

I don’t recommend going here if you have insurance. I was billed for the procedure in full and my insurance contacted requesting xrays to approve the procedure. The office claimed so many times they would send the xrays but every month I received a bill, and a letter from my insurance still requesting xrays. I wasted too much of my time calling them and chasing them down to send my insurance the xrays. They never sent the xrays and I gave up. I was stuck with the bill even though I have insurance. I finished the last half of my procedure at a different dentist who...guess what...billed my insurance appropriately and everything was covered.Unprofessional office. Never going back.

Great experience for a dental visit

My wife and I have been regular patients of Doctor Clausen for the past three years. In that time we have had regular cleanings and check ups as well as crown and implant procedures. All of our experiences have been very positive and we have in all cases been happy with the results.

I wanted to share my review with this beyond amazing and most incredible Dental experience I’ve had with this office. Since the beginning of reaching out to them with my dental issues the ladies and Dentist have been so courtesy and specially kind to me. The have worked with me and made this a very easy process. Made me feel appreciated and were concerned about me that in the dental field is extremely hard to find!!!! I would recommend them to anyone I will come in contact with!!!!

The level of understanding and compassion that Dr. Clausen and his staff showed towards me and my treatment has been phenomenal!!! I put off going to get a cleaning done for a few years due to my last dentist no understanding the fear that I have of dentist and Dr. Clausen not only treated me with the outmost care but he brought back my smile!!! I recommend this office to everyone!

The issue I have is with billing and the way they went about charging us. Asked if they took our insurance and they said they take all insurances. Correct question should have been if we were in network, my mistake I guess, but I really wished they would have said something since we went numerous times, paid close to 1k in “estimated” payments. Then come to find out they were out of network and now they’re billing us for an additional 1000 still!Pretty sneaky tactic if you ask me.

I have been a patient at Gentle Family Dentistry for the last eight years. My husband and I are both very happy with our dental experience here. We receive our twice annual cleanings, have had fillings and two crowns for myself. I came here for the first time after having a few less than pleasant experiences elsewhere. I have always trusted the dentist here. They are informative, honest and caring. They do everything they can to make you comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend them for any of your dental needs.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Gentle Family Dentistry. The staff and Holly were very nice and attentive. I loved how gentle and considerate Holly was with me during my dental cleaning. She put numbing gel on gums just in case the cleaning hurt me. I thought that was very considerate since no other office had ever done that small gesture for me. The Dr. was also very understanding when I told him I didnt want to take out my wisdom teeth yet because I have really bad anxiety. He gave me alternative options and did not pressure me to make an appointment on the spot. Over all, I loved the service provided to me and I definitely recommend everyone to get their teeth taken care of here.

My family and I have been with this dental office for over 5 years. I find them to be warm, welcoming and professional. They always try to find us appointments that fit with our schedules and they are very good about returning calls and following up after visits. I intend to continue with this dentist and highly recommend them.

My fiance and I had our very first appointment this morning and I am SOOOO happy!We did X-rays, exams and cleanings. Then made plans for future procedures.ANDREA has some of the most gentle hands I have ever had, and she was such a sweetheart. I guess she is a new member to the team, so they definitely chose right with her! She walked me through every step she was taking and had a lot of consideration for pain and discomfort.Blair and Dr. Clausen were such a great team together. He was intelligent and explained everything to me.

I must say I enjoy every time I go to this office. From the young ladies at the front to the help in the back I am never dissatisfied. They welcome you in to join their family. And clean!!!!! The office is always pleasing and clean. Besides all of that, the services and the work is Amazing. I have personally referred 3 people to this dentist office simply because you deserve a great and healthy smile and Dr. Charles Clausen Office can and will provides just that.

GREAT dentist!!!!! Ive been a patient of Dr Clausen and most recently Dr Morejon for nearly 10 yrs -- have had teeth pulled, crowns, bridges, multiple root canals, dentures and cleanings. Just a GREAT dental practice -- my wife is also a patient and feels the same as I. Everyone at Gentle Family Dentistry is exceptional -- always courteous, friendly and welcoming!!!! I am seen as scheduled and have NEVER had an insurance problem -- I pay my co-pay and its over. Again -- just a TERRIFIC dental practice. I dont think anyone really likes to go to the dentist but Gentle Family Dentistry makes each and every visit as pleasant as possible -- no pain!!!!! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing dental care!!!!!

Excellent Services! This is the best experience I have ever had at the Dentist. I always dread going to the Dentist, but not with Dr. Clausens office. The staff is absolutely amazing. Dr. Morejon is the best. I never had a better dentist. He is gentle and kind I also love his technique for injecting the numbing agent. I never feel the needles. I highly recommend going. Great Experience every time!!!!
