The ladies in the front desk were very nice and attentive. Maria, the technician that helped me was AMAZING. She really was very loving and supportive. I have claustrophobia and she was very patient and made sure I was ok throughout the process.There was a delay earlier in the morning and they also called me way in advance to make sure I know about it so I wouldn’t waste my time just waiting in their office.Overall really great experience. Akumin should update the office furniture a bit.

Some people with their reviews are just born miserable and negative...the staff at this location were extremely kind and friendly and positive...I had a 8am appt and was in and out within 20 minutes...The girls at reception were so nice as well as the lab tech....all the best Dan Manko

I am shocked by how unprofessional this place is. I drove to my appointment and to my surprise I found out my appointment was cancelled without any notice. No one told me my appointment was cancelled! I was nice about it and just told the lady to reschedule me. When I go in for my second appointment, I was told that the place I was scheduled at is new and isn’t even open yet. So I told them is was not my fault. How am I suppose to know? No one called me to reschedule or tell me this. When I explained this the lady who talked to me acted like she didn’t even care. Like it wasn’t her problem. Finally, someone told me that they can help me but it would have to be in between patients. So I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Keep in mind that I had an appointment. I don’t even live close to this place and they wasted my gas and time the first appointment.

Scheduled an open MRI, well turns out they dont have an open MRI. Complete waste of 2 weeks that I now have to wait for another appointment. The sides of the machine were very wide, which they called open. The problem is not the sides, its the 3,000lb machine 4 from my nose.No care or consideration for my time, but worse my medical needs, as now I have to wait for the imaging to be treated.

This place is disgusting run down and need a make over.. it was the cheapest i could find on short notice i went for an ultrasound at the 2925 office on a Monday the only upside to the whole visit was the front Desk girl Britney she was very sweet and understand very accommodating i was nervous for my exam and was affraid of the outcome i told her this she brought me on the inside of the office (there were other people there she disnt want them to hear) and gave me encouraging words. I have never experienced a person with so much love for the work they do The tech Felicia was also sweet please update the facility and treat employees good

I arrived on time for a sonogram of my stomach, only to be told that my appointment had been canceled. This after confirmation my appointment the previous day. I even gave the receptionist the name of the man I spoke to. Still she insisted that I had no appointment. I told her there must be an error. She made no attempt to correct it. I would never go back to Akumin again. I called Blue Cross/Blue Shield who informed me that I could have my test done at Aventura hospital. No problem there.

I already know of three different instances where they are charging customers $100 even though it should be zero out of pocket. Then when you try to get the money back they tell you it could take up to a month. Think about all the customers who pay and don’t remember to check to see if they were supposed to pay in the first place. A very deceptive trade practice. This is also going on at other locations.

Had an AMAZING experience doing my MRI at this facility Aventura). Yes, my appointment was at 3:45 and I was called in at 4:10, but I am from Miami, so II am accustomed to waiting at doctors’ appointments, and that is how I dealt with the slight delay. I was extremely anxious, as I have never had an MRI before. The front desk clerk was amazing at calming my fears. She went as far as to say that if she had to, she would ask for front desk coverage to to sit by my side or ask another staff member to do it. The machine was open on the sides, which was a HUGE plus! The technician was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!! The minute she picked me up from the locker room, she gave me an instant sense of peace. She explained everything she would do step by step, and she assured me she would stop if I needed her to (which never happened because I was in complete peace the entire time). Upon my checking out, the front desk clerk handed me my CD immediately. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for an excellent technician and caring staff! I believe my technician’s name was Suli or Zuli, but what an amazing human being to deal with during such a stressful test. THANK YOU!

Had an MRI done there. Great experience. The front desk staff was very friendly. The technician was very patient with me and calmed me down because I was very nervous going into that machine. Once I got finished with the MRI, I got my CD right away.

Never again!!! My appt was at noon. Got there before noon. Checked in. I wasn’t called in until 1pm. I had an MRI for each section of my back. It was done at around 3 something. Waited for an hour for the CD to be burned, to be told they couldn’t burn it and to come back, after waiting for an hour. I asked if they could mail it since I don’t live close and I was rudely shut down by replying “ we don’t mail”. I went to this God forsaken place because of the availability of an open MRI. They had already cancel a previous appointment, the same day because the machine wasn’t working. Before I went to the place, I read the reviews and I didn’t believe them. Well folks, sadly, everything I read in all of the negative reviews were spot on. The place is ran down and needs some serious Spring cleaning and updating. The only bright side to my experience were the wonderful and caring tech ladies that were operating the MRI machine. Those two Cuban ladies deserve 5 stars. The rest of the place, tear it down and start brand new. Doesn’t this company have an oversight of their operations??? They should read the reviews as well.Never again!!!Fyi, the MRI was performed on Friday. It is Monday and no calls from Aventura on the status of the disc.

Scheduled my appointments a month in advance for early morning, 7:45/8:30AM; chest and knee CT scan, arrive at 7:30am....only to find out they apparently need a physician present for my appointment and the physician doesn’t come in till after 9:30, so they unilaterally changed my appointment to 10am but don’t even till me. The worst part is the reception sits there and argues with you about the appointment time, not caring or understanding that your time is valuable. Will definitely never come to this location again. Actual exams were fine

Zero stars, this place is disgusting and most of all they do not know their job; they do not how to read the doctor prescription and what they tell you about how to prepare for any exams is not true !! Unbelievable !!

The worst place to do a simple test, the customer service representative has a bad actitud with every one that came to have a test, so we had bad time over here and we need to call the supervisor that she was so sorry by her employee, people like her should not work with patients and how this diagnostic center have people so rude , unpolite, , so think before to come to this center, so sad to found people so rude to talk with patients! I will put no stars at this place but is not that option! COVID 19 time no easy to everyone and less to catch bad people with bad hearts! I was reading the feedback that the other people did and is sadly true very bad place to do a tests! So zero stars !

Horrible stuff!! I went there for my ultrasound and apparently my prescription did not specify the spot where they need to do it (i mean how am i suppose to know it didn’t specify im not a doctor) now they want me to go back to the doctor office and fix it which they can easily do by just faxing/calling the doctors office and ask for the right prescription because they are affiliated (i was referred from my doctors office to them) but no the lazy front office staff do not want to do that they want me to go and have it fixed!! Incredible customer service!!

Horrible Customer Service, they do not try to help you, I have been in Medical Field for over 40 years, never seen anything like that, that is the reason the office was empty, need to get better receptionists or train workers to be more helpful, will never go back again, they lost a regular customer.

I give this people one star wish is too much for them. Is the worst place. Is like nobody knows how to deal with software in there. Ive tried three times to get an MRI. They put me in the schedule but o surprise when I get there there is no apptment for me and there is no solution diferent that try to get me another apptment. So I call back to make sure that tomorrow is my next appoinment and there is a new surprise Im no in the schedulle for tomorrow again GREAT!!!😡😡😡😡😡And is for a urgent MRI of my ankle and knee theres always an excuse an mistake over an over again.... #1 worst pkace in Miami. Now I understand why you have 1.8% average in the reviews.
