Staff should have more empathy for the patients. Lots of patients waiting outside and no-one open the door before 8am. Then they treat you like you dont exist cause you said the wrong number of the insurance. I have been with dr.Silver for years.

Dr Silver is a great doctor. I really like him. He’s patient, knowledgeable and kind. However since he switched to mount sinai, a call center is in charge of his appointments and answering all the calls made to his office. The call center is terrible, giving wrong information and making errors. I’ve been given wrong information on two separate occasions.

Dr.Silver is an amazing doctor. He is nice and friendly and an extremely smart man. I have been to many doctors and this is the best one yet. I dont have one complaint about him and this office. His office is very clean and well taken care of. His office Manager Dinah (this is the correct way to spell her name) has kids and this is why she leaves early, so I dont think anyone has any right to complain about that. I would recommend family, friends, and teaches to him. He is just that good.

Great listener. Nonjudgmental heard me for the first time a doctor has truly listened to me in years. Very often doctors pre-judge patients based upon how they look and Dr. Silver took to time to understand and listen to me from the get go. He looked at me as a whole person. He is kind and in tune. I was at ease and feel confident in his care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Craig Silver for about five years. He’s the first position that I actually listened to what I had to say. He also was that physician overseeing my mother. What also made me very satisfied with Dr. Silver was his desire to stray away from traditional medicating of patients. Rather he suggest natural effective supplements. Another factor that led me to giving 5 stars was due to his warm and caring staff member. They have gone above and beyond to assist me anytime I’ve had a situation that needed to be addressed. You know that if you choose Dr Silver as your primary care physician you’ll be choosing a Doctor who honestly cares about his patients.

Dr. Craig Silver has been my primary care doctor for over 4 years. He is very friendly and responsive and his exams are very detailed. Other physicians have asked me for his number after looking at my exams. I am terrified of blood collection but the assistant that has worked with Dr. Silver for years has a “magic hand”. I have had 3 blood collections and have not felt any pain whatsoever. She is truly amazing!I recommend Dr. Silver’s medical services without any hesitation.

These reviews cannot be real. This is the absolute worst doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. He pushed and pushed to prescribe me a medicine that costs 1k a month that I absolutely do not need even after I kept telling him I have no need for that medication. He was trying to make money off me and my insurance. He overbooks his office and then only sees you for 90 seconds before he runs to the next patient to try to squeeze money out of them. He then ordered none of the tests I specifically came in and asked for and also didn’t order the prescription I actually needed and asked for. He then tried to get me to schedule another appointment and pay for his mistakes but I would never step foot into Craig’s money pit again. You’ll spend 2+ hours there to hear a 60 second prescription sales pitch and then he’ll forget everything you actually came in for. Craig Silver has one motive and it’s money.

Nice Doctor but very poor office administration. Be prepared to wait another 40min at minimum from your appointment time to when you actually will see the Doc.It also looks like Students are constantly running this show, I understand they need to learn somewhere, but I don’t think my annual checkups and common flu needs to be evaluated every time by the collegium of yet to be doctors. All in all it’s a very average experience.

My experience with the Dr. Silver himself was good, hes good at explaining results, however I felt a tad rushed. I must say however, that the reason why I wont return to see him is the very poor customer service and attention to detail of his staff. Ill explain why this is important. The office manager Dina, to whom normally incidents must be escalated, isnt usually available, and leaves at 2PM. The African-American lady on the phone is outright rude, giving attitude to me and my partner.Whats worse, they arent mindful when coding a diagnosis. This is *key* since the insurance companies can easily deny tests. In my case they denied a $750 blood test. It should be crystal clear to them how visits and tests must be coded so that payers cover. Instead they leave the work to you, the patient. Because its so fun to sit on the phone for two hours and argue your case with insurance companies. One last example of their sloppiness: An HIV test, which is supposed to be treated carefully due to its nature, was never actually submitted to the lab, making the patient ask them for the results, only to hear that the office hadnt done it yet (a month later). I wouldnt want to be in anyone’s shoes waiting over a month for results on an HIV test, would you?Thats how little they care about patients in Dr. Silvers office. You choose.

Dr Silver and his staff are always so personnable and helpful. Dr Silver takes his time to be thorough and not skip over any possible medical issue. The attention I get at his office has almost the feel of the way doctors used to treat patients during house calls.

Dr. Silver is awsome. I have not been to a doctor in five years and needed to have a lot done. He sat down patiently and went through them all with me. I never felt rushed. Parking is tricky but the office is worth it!

Where do i begin. First of all if i could give zero stars i would and i believe most of the positive reviews he has are fake. i say this because i know several people personally who also experienced his awful, rude staff and his terrible bedside manners and i cant imagine someone enjoying being treated this way. Second Dr. Silver allowed medical students into the room and closed the door before even asking if that was alright. not everyone likes to be part of a lesson. But my biggest issue is that even after discussing my allergies with him and the THREE medical students in the room he still managed to prescribe me a medication i was allergic to, and if it wasnt for the pharmacists picking up on it and warning me i would have taken it. When i called to speak with him his staff took my message and instead of the Doctor returning my call one of the staff did to tell me that the doctor apologizes and that it is only a small component of the medication he prescribed me that im allergic to.. who cares if its a small component! i have a severe allergy to sulfa drugs and you prescribed me a sulfa based medication! if you thought this was the worst of it you thought wrong!!! I came to Dr. Silver before going on a hiking trip overseas and asked for medical advice, he prescribed me an antibiotic to take just in case completely forgetting to mention that this antibiotic has The black box warning on the U.S. FDA-approved ciprofloxacin label, warning of an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture!!!!! To someone who is about to go on a 20 day TREK!!!!I dont think Dr. Silver is a responsible doctor, and i urge you to go somewhere else!!!
