Dr. John Whitehead is a caring and knowledgeable physician. He performed a re-circumcision for me after talking with me on the phone and answering questions, we also communicated via email until our consultation in his office at 1111 Kane Concourse Suite 311. His office staff and nurse Anne was very friendly and the appointment time was exactly as promised at 10 am. During the consultation, Dr. Whitehead examined me and suggested that I also get a scrotal web reduction to go along with my re-circumcision. I had asked him to perform a low and fight circumcision and provided him with some photos on email as to the result that I wanted. The surgery was done under twilight sedation, and the anesthesiologist was Dr. Alain Ramirez. Surgery was done in two hours and I awoke feeling minimal amount of pain. When I felt ready, I was sent back to my hotel. Two days later, I had my bandages removed and replaced. I was given antibiotics and Tylenol for the pain, but didn’t need to use all of the Tylenol. I was given his cell number to keep in contact for emergency purposes and when I left Miami to go back home, we kept in contact via email. I highly recommend Dr. Whitehead and Dr. Ramirez, anesthesiologist. Dr. Whitehead’s skills as a surgeon are impeccable and he and his staff took very good care with me as his patient.
