I love this office. We have been coming here for over 20 years and had 5 sets of braces. It has felt like family since day one. It starts with the leadership of Scott Franklin and trickles down to everyone on staff! Perfection is the standard here. My youngest only has one more visit before he ages out. We are going to miss this place!

Just got my braces off and Dr Franklin has worked his magic on another member of my family! Exceptionally talented and attentive to even the smallest details. Courtney and Tiffany are both fantastic…who knew the orthodontist visit could be fun?! I wholly recommend without reservation!

Dr Lindsey and her team took such great care of me during a stressful time, helping me reach my orthodontic goals with comfort and ease. On top of that, Robbi Van Pelt went out of her way to help me out when I realized I had made a mistake in my account. I plan to bring my son here when the time comes for him to have orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Franklin is the best and everyone in this office follows suit. We are always welcomed with a smile and everyone is so kind. They even go as far as remembering small details about previous conversations with my daughter to make her feel 100% comfortable. They do an excellent job with her and because of this, she actually looks forward to going to the dentist.I got braces with Dr. Franklin and he is always gentle and kind. Even when I had challenging moments, he was patient and took the time I required and did his very best to help relieve my issues. I highly recommend him. It would be hard pressed to find a better Orthodontist.

We absolutely LOVE Smiles of Austin (and Smiles of Dripping Springs!) It is truly the best place ever. Having 3 children, I love having our dentist and orthodontist in the same spot for ease and their expertise and attention is the BEST out there. We have a child with a unique and challenging mouth and Dr. Franklin has done so much to help us orchestrate our care with other dental professionals. And each referral he has given us as been fantastic! Dr. Franklin does A LOT of behind the scenes research and discussions with his colleagues to help us in our process - and we are on the road to 3 healthy and gorgeous smiles!We have also had the best support from their insurance/billing department as well. Robbi has answered and called my insurance a gazillion times and answered all my crazy questions! I am so thankful for this practice. If you go to the Dripping Springs location, Kelli, Ashley and Stacey are truly the best ever. We have actually never encountered an employee in either office that we didnt love! Dr. Brunson and his staff are amazing. I was referred to them by my general dentist, and so grateful for this. I went through a 21 month ortho treatment, visiting every few months. All those visits were a pleasure. Everyone makes you feel like your the most important patient. They are excellent with children. I saw them attend to them as if they were their own. As for the treatment, well what can I say. They were attentive to my concerns and questions, and every consultation was very detailed. The ortho assistants, theyre great, Terri, shes the best, Lily and Courtney were also part of my direct treatment. Total Professionalism! The entire staff there is just so pleasant. I would strongly recommend this practice to anyone, either for themselves or their childrens dental treatment. Simply the best!

We have been seeing the dental team at Smiles of Austin for years and cant say enough wonderful things about the entire staff. Jamie, our hygienist, is thorough and friendly. Kaitlyn is gentle and kind. Dr Matson is a saint, working through both my kids anxiety with patience, humor, and a kind and calm disposition. Dr Matson had to give my daughter a numbing shot to pull out a tooth today, and she didnt even realize when the needle went in. The procedure was quick, painless, and perfectly executed. They even handled COVID precautions safely and efficiently. I feel so grateful to have found this practice!!

This group is AMAZING! Dr Franklin and Brunson are top of the line when it comes to getting a PREFECT smile! After both of my children completed orthodontics, I am now getting my teeth taken care of. They are always so helpful and always available.

My boys had their 6 month appointment scheduled and the team at Smiles of Austin has a great plan in place to provide a safe environment. They are efficient, so good with kids, and provide thorough check-ups. I highly recommend them if youre looking for a great pediatric dentist.

I just finished my braces at Smiles of Austin, and as someone with severe anxiety problems, I got through the whole experience with a lot fewer problems than I thought I would have. Dr. Brunson worked my braces around my out of state college schedule, which was fantastic and meant I could continue working with a team that I felt more comfortable around than I do most people who work in doctors offices.I have serious anxiety problems and the staff worked to help alleviate those by doing things like not touching parts of my face and neck, allowing me to take breaks when needed, and just generally treating me with care. When getting my braces off, Terri was the orthodontic assistant doing that stuff, and she was absolutely amazing. I, with no offense to the other assistants, wish shed done all of my adjustments simply because she worked really well to keep me calm, despite me having had a panic attack moments before starting. She had me laughing, basically read my mind on when I needed a moment with her hands away from my face before I ever had to ask, etc.If you have anxiety, be it just about dental work or anxiety in general, Dr. B and Terri are going to be there to help. I recommend them wholeheartedly, which is something I never thought Id say about anyone in any medical field. Theyre supportive and understanding, they treat you like a human and take the time needed to ensure that, they dont rush you when youre uncomfortable just because theyre busy. Im an adult and yes, there are a lot of younger people who go there for braces, but I never felt judged about being a college student (which I know is still pretty young), or about my teeth (which I was very shy about originally because of how they looked). Everyone in the office was super supportive. Every visit I was greeted with Your teeth are looking so good! Theyve changed so much! and general uplifting energy about the whole process.But honestly. Smiles has been amazing. And I dont say that lightly, as someone that will try to crawl out of the chair if you touch my chin wrong. They worked with me, not against me. And a serious shout out to Terri and Dr. B for working so hard with all of my problems to make me feel comfortable.

My sons dentist, Dr. Johnson at Central Park Pediatric Dentistry, referred us to Smiles of Austin due to the complexity of my sont dental situation. First and foremost, Dr. Johnson has been my sons dentist for 7 years I knew if he was referring Smiles of Austin we would be in good hands but I had no idea how truly wonderful the staff would be. On a day that was stressful, overwhelming and emotional the kindness and compassion that we were extended is beyond words. Ms. Tara (whose superpower is kindness on the website) certainly was wearing her cape! She is one of the kindest people Ive ever encountered. Dr. Brunson and his ability to explain, put my mind at ease and be patient with my overwhelmed but sweet boy was something Id only experienced previously with Dr. Johnson. Dental care is stressful - it is expensive and complex and sometimes scary for littles and parents alike. I am truly in awe of how much care and attention they put into the visit and the visits to come. Studying my sons charts and X-rays, collaborating with Dr. Johnson, and setting a follow up meeting to simply explain all the options before we move forward with any part of treatment. As a momma - this is huge! This is unparalleled and we are forever grateful to have found this team!

This is the only place my son has been coming since he was old enough to go to the dentist and he is now 6. He goes every 6 months and loves to go. The staff and physician’s are amazing. I remember be terrified of the dentist as a kid. But they have won him and me over 100% it is a must place to take your little ones.

Just had a great first experience at Smiles of Dripping Springs. Everyone on the staff was very kind and accommodating. My 5 1/2 year old son (who has previously been anxious about going to the dentist) was at ease the entire time and everything about the visit went smoothly. We have driven over an hour and a half to this office for over 14 years; they are worth every minute! The staff is wonderful and the doctors are superb! I would never consider switching! If more pediatric offices were like this, there wouldn’t be so many adults with a phobia about dentists!

I have been taking my children to this practice for several years now (my children are 9 and 13). Consistently from the reception staff on back to Dr. Aaron Collins, my children and I are treated to a professional and friendly experience. Dr. Collins is great at moderating his tone to relate to different personalities and ages of his patients. His assistants are always encouraging with guidance for dental care. We are always informed of our options and never feel pressured in to choosing optional procedures. Definitely feel we have found a place that children feel comfortable visiting and Smiles is a place that grows with our childrens needs.

This has got to be the friendliest pediatric dentist office on earth. Pair that with great service, thorough dental (and orthodontic) care, an awesome waiting room and a sweet doorway just for kids and it becomes clear why “dentist appointment” is on par with “playground” around my house.

Highly recommend these folks for orthodontic treatment. The process was easy from the beginning. Financing was painless, the staff was amazing, and orthodontist kept me informed on my progress. He regularly spoke with my dentist to discuss my progress and the finding the most conservative route to getting everything in the right position as quick as possible. As an adult, they offer ceramic brackets which are white/clear and are more discrete than regular metal brackets. Prices were great for the service they provided.These reviews are honest. Unlike many doctors, SOA doesnt solicit discounts for online reviews (usually what you find with 5 star offices with tons of reviews). What you are hearing in the other reviews reflect their actual experience!

I went here to get my braces done in high school and they did a fantastic job. Every single person who works here knows what they are doing and has the BEST attitude every single day. They truly love what they do and you can tell! Even as an adult, I have had several instances where I needed to call them for help when a permanent retainer snapped (my fault, dang tortilla chips!!!) and they squeezed me in and fixed it the very next day. My brother and sister also had their orthodontic work done here! I cant say enough how fantastic Dr. Scott Franklin and his team are! Most people hate going to the dentist or ortho but I remember always looking forward to my appointments back in high school because everyone was so cool and it was never painful (and this is coming from someone with one of the most sensitive mouths/teeth youll ever meet). LOOK NO FURTHER. Smiles of Austin is THE BEST. Id give them 20 stars if I could.

My two year old is definitely a slow to warm up to new people kid so I was super apprehensive about her first dentist visit. She was immediately at ease after coming into the amazing waiting room they have there. She got to brush her teeth before her appt with a purple toothbrush and loved being in the pet shop exam room. This place is decorated so kid friendly! Dr Collins was awesome in letting her get to know him before brushing her teeth (admittedly that was the only part she didnt love). Its been about a week since our appointment and almost every day since then shes asked to go back to the dentist. Im amazed. Definitely recommending Smiles to anyone else looking for a pediatric dentist!

Love having dental and orthodontics in a single office - the ortho just swings by during dental cleaning to check on whether its time to move to ortho, and they take a very step-by-step approach to about when to start braces. Happy with the dental side as well.

My special needs daughter is a patient of Dr. Collins - both he and his office are incredibly helpful to her and supportive of her. They schedule her appointments late in the day so we are not rushed, always schedule her in the same room (shes used to that space now), give her all the time she needs to get comfortable in the space and with any new staff who might be there, are welcoming and friendly to her, and treat her like the intelligent person she is! Dr. Collins is enormously kind and patient with her, and has lots of techniques for looking into the mouth of a very anxious and touch-resistant young lady!!The office is just as good to the parents as to the child - very understanding and helpful with our unusual billing issues, never too busy to call back. An added bonus is that now they offer full anesthesia right in the office, so we do not have to go to a hospital or surgery center for that.Having a special needs child is a big challenge and a lot of work - Dr. Collinss office turns something that could be traumatic for the child and very difficult for the parents into a very pleasant experience. Now if he could only be MY dentist too :)
