I cant recommend Dr. Stephenson and her staff enough. They have been fantastic. I was referred to her when I had severe pain in my lower back a few weeks ago, and could barely move. She went out of her way to get me in asap, and immediately made a difference with the pain. She quickly identified I had two herniated discs, and in the few short weeks Ive been seeing her, Im in an incredibly better place that I was, and will soon be 100%. Whats been so nice, is that they actually listen to what youre saying, not just a one size fits all approach to helping her patients. I can confidently recommend her to anyone that is looking for a chiropractor that they can trust and will take the time to understand the true underlying issues that are causing discomfort. I have been going here for the better part of a year now and cant recommend it enough. Dr Stephenson and her staff are amazing! It is really rare to find a highly skilled doctor that genuinely cares and listens to their patients. I have had pretty severe allergy issues in Austin and the acupuncture and chiropractic work here have been a life saver. Its going to be very difficult finding a place that compares once I move back up north.

I saw Joanna the first time very soon after she opened her clinic in Austin. I woke up feeling like my spine had jumped off track. I called my boss to let him know I wouldnt be coming in to work, and called Total Health before they were open, so I had to leave a voicemail. I got a call back soon after 8am and a same-day appointment, and I felt relief after my first visit. I returned regularly at first to get things back in order, and now I visit a few times a year for an adjustment. Joanna knows whats going on under my skin better than I do, and she knows just what to do about any problems I have. Appointments are quick (I usually squeeze them in on my lunch hour or after work) and I always leave feeling rejuvenated. I would recommend her to anyone, and I have!

Sometimes you just get lucky. New to the area, I was looking for a female chiropractor in N. Austin and stumbled upon Total Health in a quick Zocdoc search. I have scoliosis and need consistent chiropractic care & this was my 3rd try at a new chiropractor since moving back to TX in January (leaving behind another incredible chiropractor)..I knew I’d found my people as soon as I walked in the door. The girls at the front are kind and helpful, check in was a breeze & I went straight back to meet the Dr. I am so grateful for somehow finding her without any referral or tips of any kind. She knows her stuff, is super thorough & easy to talk to. My adjustment was the best I’ve ever had-she is well trained and has the natural touch. If you need real chiropractic care, this is the place for you. She also does Accupuncture (I know...right?!) Everything that a chiropractor should be-she is.They also have very high quality herbal supplements, CBD products & lots of other self/home care options available as well as all the therapies that adjunct with the adjustments. The best of the best in so many ways. Just go here, you won’t regret it!

Dr. Stephenson is the best chiropractor Ive found to relieve pain and to alleviate problems on a deep level. Particularly, she is effective in working on the neck, shoulder and spine. She also does acupuncture which is a huge plus. I give her my highest recommendation!
