Recently started working out with a trainer and hurt my lower back from doing squats. It started with an annoying sharp pain every time I would lay down and get back up. Then one morning it took me about an hour to get out of bed and I knew something was wrong. Went to Dr. Mchone and he was able to see the issue was a lumbar strain. He was great at explaining the issue and also helping alleviate the pain. The exercises he gave me to do at home really helped the healing process. After 4 sessions he let me know that I was good to go and to start reintroducing weights back into my workout. The staff was fantastic and I felt very welcomed there. Highly recommend this place for anyone having back pain issues.

This place is very slow and after 20 minutes waiting a woman with no uniform came to me and asked me : are you ready to come to the back? I was following her and then she asked me a bunch of questions that is not relevant to my issue during which she’s not even looking at me , staring at the computer. Finally she told me the doctor is coming soon but took another 20 minutes waiting……

Great place and great people.De McHone was very knowledge and help me understand whit the problem was and the best way to treat it. He was concerned about my issues and addressed the issues with proper treatment .The staff, All the staff, were great at what they do and make you feel at home. And the roller machine for the back is amazing.Thank you and your staff for all you have done for me.

I was really impressed with Dr. McHone! He was easily able to diagnose my problem, and had a clear plan as to how to rectify it. I would highly recommend him. He spent the time necessary to make me feel heard and understood.

It has been a year since I sought treatment, due to the pandemic, for my ailments. It is time now to take care of them and I am so happy that Dr. McHone and his team have started me on the road to healing, just from one session. I look forward to my next visit. Ive had chiropractic many times over the years with several different ODs and was very impressed after meeting Dr. Whitehead and reviewing together my x-rays, treatment plan, and what movements I should avoid until we have stabilized my neck problem. She really knows her stuff and her staff is fabulous to work with, as well. Im totally optimistic about getting the best care here to achieve a pain-free, healthy body.

This was only my second visit. I had severe lower back pain, achy knees, sore shoulders. Found out I had a slipped disc and got treated for that the first time. It helped a lot. Next, the second visit I had cleared up a lot of my knee and shoulder pain. My lower back improved and I was able to walk and stand for a LOT longer. Dr. Whitehead was awesome! Most helpful and listened to what I had to say. The other doctors in her group met with me as well and they had gotten together with her to figure up a good treatment plan.

Dr. Whitehead, in my humble opinion, is the best chiropractor for all your chiropractic needs and more. She is very knowledgeable and caring, not only about the spine and how it affects the body, but about holistic approaches to healing as well. She really knows her stuff. Ive drifted away and tried other chiropractors in the past. However, they fail to provide the skill and knowledge that Dr. Whitehead exudes and I always return. She fixes whatever ails me. She analyzes my issues, provides treatment and gives suggestions on ways to attain and maintain optimal health. Ive been a patient for many years and I dont plan to leave again.

Ive never been to a more thorough physician. Dr. Whitehead was patient and asked a ton of questions about my condition. I had just had 4 weeks in hospital followed by 2 weeks inpatient physical therapy. I was in a wheelchair and used a walker for short distances. My pain was off the charts. Thats the set-up, Ill get to her adjustment shortly.I must mention that I have profound hearing loss. My husband was there to aid in helping me into clinic and to be my communicator. She was incredibly patient with having a lot of communication go through someone else and also she graciously talked loudly and slowly for my benefit. Most doctors simply ignore me after a few times being asked to repeat themselves.They start addressing my husband, sometimes pivoting towards him and asking about me as if I were a child.Dr. Whitehead and her staff addressed me, even when Id have to turn to my husband to find out what was said.My treatment. I was in too much pain and even after rehab was unable to move much. She had me transfer to the stand-up table. She then gently checked me over, she was thorough. She explained bc of pain and immobility, she was going to do a gentle adjustment. It was Gentle and it was Thorough! It also gave me more relief than I had experienced in months. Id only ever been to twist and jerk chiros in the past. Dr. Whitehead is not a Where does it hurt? Now Ill give you same back cracking treatment as everyone else, pat you on the back and have you hop off table and head home.I thought they were all like that. I never expected to experience what this chiropractor did.In the end, she spent 2 hours with me. I can think of any other doctor who does that. I cried in relief on that stand up table and in the car on the way home. I was experiencing a level of relief Id not imagined possible. I felt better for days after my treatment and was more mobile than Id been in months.Dr. Whitehead has a generous spirit and genuinely wants her patients to feel better. Ive been going to Dr. Whitehead for about 2 years now. I can always tell (or my body does) when its nearing time for my next appointment. I see her monthly. Her approach and techniques are very different than other chiropractors Ive been to, that being a positive approach. She takes the time with each patient, never ever feel rushed! Truly amazing. Dr. Whitehead took about 8 large x-rays during my first appointment, and then went over them with me in detail with me during my second appointment. Ive never had a doctor conduct such a thorough and perceptive review of my body. I initially went in for a jaw issue, but her holistic treatments have helped my back as well as my jaw. Dr. Whitehead is very knowledgeable in field and she is constantly going to seminars so that she can share new ideas with her staff and her patients. The actual chiropractors are good, but I had really inappropriate calls from the office manager. Completely unprofessional and offensive when they know we were waiting for funds, but at the same time they didn’t want to be up front about pricing until treatment was over, which the pricing was still unclear.

I have had several issues with my shoulders, hips, even my feet, and she taps a few places on my neck and I can raise my arm above my head again and walk painlessly! She really loves what she does and tells you how it makes you better!

I am prone to migraines which makes life difficult at times. I first went to Dr. Whitehead 6 weeks ago with a migraine that had lasted for 3 days before I went in. I was referred to Dr. Whitehead by my father whom she treated back in 1992 for a similar injury. When I was first injured I was referred to a spine surgeon but I felt that a more direct route would be best, since my options were of temporary relief and not guaranteed; I wanted to be “bullet proof” as Dr. Whitehead would say. Right away I knew that I had made the right decision, just after two adjustments to my lower back I could walk, and finally after a month most of my sciatic pain in my left leg had disappeared. Though I am not totally healed I know that sticking to her regiment…I will be in no time. I especially love that she explains everything in detail, educating you along the way. She even offers a class to explain the benefits of seeing a chiropractor. Every time I visit Dr. Whitehead’s office I am greeted by name, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I had since a chiropractor in 2006 and i told him that i was still hurting a extremely a lot and he said the pain would go away. Never did. With that being said, my insurance has paid her thousands, I have made a ton of referrals to her front door, lots of money. Even when she hands you a referral card and asks you to hand them out. The front desk people revolve like a door, Ive been seeing mrs. Whitehead for over 2 years and they have constantly changed. 4 months ago I was told by the new set of front desk people that I owed 1500 $ for unpaid bills from 2013. Theyre saying its money I owed but was never told that I was racking up bills and wasnt paying on them... but the whole time paying Co payments, after being treated like deadbeat who doesnt pay his bills by the doctors infront of numerous other patients, and asked to leave. Was completely singled out and embarrassed infront of people staff it was a nightmare. They have now went against my credit. I would be careful to watch your insurance coverage, ask questions at the front desk to I sure whats being charged and how much each visit is and what the visit entails so you are not to be charged more than you are getting. With that being said, cant say enough about mrs.whitehead, shes one smart cookie and caring too. I suppose the unprofessional part started when the wife started showing up for work everyday and now we find out the front desk people have no clue what today is.
