I am so thankful for the staff at this Hand & Stone facility. The front desk staff is kind and caring. The facility is spotless and everyone wears masks. The staff that was there wanted to be there and you could feel their joy in being able to take care of their clients again. I felt completely safe getting a massage there. The relaxation helped boost my mood and immunity. Take care of yourselves as best you can during these stressful times.

SO DISAPPOINTED! Ive been a member of this facility for almost a year, and my massage therapist is absolutely incredible. Unfortunately, I froze my membership and the membership unfroze during COVID. I tried to call the spa, and no one ever answered the phone (I knew they were closed) so I figured I would call to get a refund when they re-opened. To my surprise, the manager DENIED my refund, even though they couldnt provide services and no one would answer my calls! I even pleaded that I was laid off and couldnt afford the membership (Which is why i tried to reach them). They said they called the members to get updates. When I told them I never got a call, they said oh, we actually emailed because we have a lot of members. FALSE, the only email Ive gotten since March was a birthday coupon. SO disappointed that they are not willing to work with their customers in these circumstances. Im in the hotel industry and refund any and all customers with pure flexibility, and Im in the hardest hit industry. Theyve lost a permanent member, which is unfortunate for their staff who could use the money. Do better for your community Hand & Stone.

With the monthly membership, it is so convenient to transfer massages or use as needed. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff to ensure the best experience possible.

The massage was good. Melissa had a calming voice. my reason for 2 stars. She came and got me promptly at 5. Took me to my room so I could change and came back at 5:10. When the massage was over I looked at the clock on the wall and it was 5:50. My hour massage I paid for was actually not 1 hour or even close to 1 hour. Not sure if this is hand and stone policy or just the person I got on my first visit.

I do feel that their facials are a little pricy but they are good and the massages really help with my back pain!

Not a great experience. Booked online for an 80 minute hot stone massage. Received a phone call the day before the appointment (already inside the cancellation window) saying the therapist didn’t do 80min treatments. While this was disappointing, instead of losing the appointment and possibly being charged, I kept it and went today.Arrived early to fill out paperwork. Selected an add-on treatment. Began the session and from the first touch I could tell I wasn’t going to enjoy my time. Pressure was fine, therapist was nice, but her strokes were too fast and she didn’t stop to actually work on anything. Felt like I was on an assembly line and she just wanted to get through the appointment. No hot stones were used even though that was what I selected online. I honestly couldn’t wait to be done.Next time I will be booking an appointment in person so I can make sure to receive exactly what I want, but it’s unlikely it will be a this location or with this company.

My wife loved her massage! I gifted it to her on Christmas and she was very happy. She did 1 hour of Swedish massage, the therapist was professional and left her feeling great. I Highly recommend this place.

We were very pleased with our visit experience with Hand & Stone. Loved the rooms and that we could control bed temperature as well as music volume. I had Candy loved everything about her. Would highly recommend. Not sure who my husband had but too chatty for our liking. Love the quitnesss, music, zen atmosphere as well as great massage. Cannot even get an appointment, they have one option a day for the next 3 days and beyond 3 days no options at all. Do they only have one person working? I found an appointment at a different location.

I have the membership and go monthly for a facial with Molly. It took a couple of tries at the beginning to get the right person, but Molly is tops for facials. As others have mentioned, its pretty pricey, so if Molly ever leaves, Ill likely cancel my membership.I had a massage with Aaron last month, and got a very good massage, just the right amount of pressure and amount of time on any one place.He was a bit talkative, but that didnt bother me on this visit.

I have tried several times to book an appointment at this location and nobody answers the phone and the message I left wasnt returned. My husband has a membership and has had the same experience. He has switched his membership to another location and I just called and was able to book a massage at the new location.

Ive never had any problems here. If you know what you like in a massage, be sure to ask for a therapist that matches your needs. Not all of them are good. If you like firm massage that works out some knots, Id chose Darlynn. Shes amazing and knows her anatomy and has a good intuition for the sore, snappy, crackling, crunchy parts of your back. I mnkw sounds horrible but if youve got them you know what I mean. Membership is the best deal if you can afford one massage monthly.

I have been a member for over a year, and love the level of service I receive every time I go in. I havent been able to go for a while b/c I have been so busy and went in today. I have been having back issues and pain, and Heather whipped it into shape. This place is amazing for your wellness and the staff is so knowledgeable! I would highly recommend Hot Stone !

My facial with Michelle was fantastic. Her knowledge of my type of skin and her professionalism make me want to come back. Also on my experience at a Hand & Stone, I prefer this one than the one at Parker.

Ive only been to this location. Its in a great spot near where I live. Ive had no issues with any services and enjoy the results of the microdermabrasion I get. All staff members are very polite and helpful.

This is a great place to get a massage. The environment is relaxing, they are very friendly when being greeted - often known by name. The therapists are great do have to find the right day they work but they do give us a card. Go there monthly often.

I called Hand & Stone today because I had canceled my membership over 4 months ago. I had totally forgot I had 3 packages left that had to be used within 90 days of canceling. Rachel was so kind to extend my packages until the end of August no questions asked. I am extremely impressed with her customer service at this location & highly recommend anyone to the Southlands branch. On top of this I now live in Dallas so this benefits Rachel in no way. Its nice to see we still have good solid people around & you just have to find them. Thank you Rachel!

If you get your eyebrows waxed here I would be very careful about who you ask to do them. The first time a girl named Michelle did mine and she did a great job. However today I had a girl do them I think her name was Julie and she completely messed up my right eyebrow and took a chunk out of the center of my eyebrow. She apologized and said she was talking and wasnt paying attention. Seriously if you are waxing eyebrows you better be paying attention to what you are doing. Ive been getting my eyebrows waxed for over 10 years and Ive never had anyone screw up my eyebrows and now I have to fill it in until the hair grows back. Not what I was expecting to happen. She told the receptionist they said they would give me my money back. We will see, if not I will be speaking with the manager

Hand and Stone is amazing! I used to go to Massage Envy and they dont compare, Hand and Stone will soon be having a cbd oil to massage with which is so awesome! They have great therapist and they dont pressure you into joining the membership, love you hand and stone!

I had such a great experience at this location! Vanessa did a wonderful job pinpointing exactly which areas needed the most work while also making it a highly successful relaxing massage. Definitely recommend!

Great place. The service is awesome here. Just make sure to be clear on what you want. I like deep tissue massage and they have good people who know how to make you feel great.

Too pricey

The website for booking was down, so I called and scheduled an appointment. They said they could get me in a day earlier with a male massage therapist, but I said I would prefer a woman. They said that would be no problem, and ensured I would have a female massage therapist. I arrived today to an extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff, but they booked me with a male! Not acceptable, but I was a little shocked when he came out to get me so I brushed it off. I let him know the level of pressure I was looking for, but he went way past that and gave me a deep tissue massage. Not relaxing whatsoever and extemely uncomfortable. Also, the way he twisted my neck from side to side just contributed to this odd experience. I can’t believe I paid for that.

Vanessa did a great job and I will be back. Excellent massage.

Booked two massages. 1 Prenatal and 1 Regular for my wife, and her sister. (Cassidys b-day present) It was booked at 5pm on a Monday. When they arrived, she said the girl that took the reservation put it in wrong and only booked 1 massage. No apologies, nor did they care. They simply rudely told her to reschedule! Wont be booking with them again!

Received a massage several months ago. Forgot to write a review. Anyways, total waste of money. I literally told my massage therapist, about 5 times, that I needed special attention to my calfs and achilles tendons. I told him I didnt care about anything else other then those two areas. It was an hour massage. He spent maybe 4 minutes combined for both those areas of my legs. Man, I was irritated. Definitely not going back. In fact, Ill massage my own dang legs!

Second time here and I am disappointed. I usually go to the Westminster location. They are great there. I usually schedule hot stone massages and second time here and I still didn’t get one. Just a regular massage which by the way has been painful both times I’ve been here 😔 definitely disappointed with this location. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Karen is the best! As an athlete, she understands exactly what I needTo recover and keep going. She goes above and beyond. If you inquire, she will openly talk about linking the mind and body. I go every 3 weeks and she is a breath of fresh air!

So here is my review. Went in for the 1st time. Signed up for facial. $59.00 intro. Plus 40.00 upgrade for microdermabrasion with the diamond head thing. When asked which mask I would like mango or cucumber according to the girl they do different things. Idk. IMO they all do the same. When I went to pay I was told that there was yet again another 20.00 upgrade for that mango mask I was not aware of this or I would have declined it. But, what could I do but pay it since I had it done?Then I got a massage it was good nothing to write home about. I was told quote Shame on you when I stated that it had been several years since I had a massage. If I wanted to be scolded like a child I would have gone back to kindergarten. Overall a clean place.

I had a wonderful experience at Hand and Stone. The front area was relaxed and comfortable. I was well taken care of and felt very relaxed even before the massage. My theripist was great. She listened to what I asked and was very skilled. I feel much better and was very impressed with this place!

Do not patron here!! After finding out I had lost my unborn child I reached out to management to cancel my membership after bing with the company for years!! I was charged for two extra months and received snide little curt replies from the MANAGER EMILY! So disappointed in the level of customer service. Literally spent over 4,000 dollars with this company (I had another membership for my husband as well as a gift). In the end they challenged over 59.00?? and made it so that I will never return as a customer.

Totally forgot to write a review, my husband set me up for one on Mothers Day. The ladies were very nice and inviting, but the massage, was not all that. I expected more for $60 for an hour, but nope, a very dull massage. Will look elsewhere

I was a member for over 2 years and had one fabulous therapist, and a couple of others that werent so great. Any time they had to reschedule me they comped it but I just got tired of your therapist is only working certain days and hours now that I couldnt do as a single working woman. Canceled my membership and went back again with a coupon for a one hour hot stone, Im sorry 50 minute and was charged a hundred bucks! There is no way I will return even though I absolutely adore Heather and her wonderful massages!Unlike others the staff was always welcoming but still a hundred bucks....with a coupon??? Come on HAS!!! You have lost my business for sure.

Scheduled a facial with Heather about a month ago. It did not meet my expectations so I emailed Rachel, (the manager). She set up a complimentary facial with Michelle and it was outstanding. I also booked a massage with Darlin who asked great questions to learn about what kind of massage I was expecting. She asked about pressure frequently and both Darlin and Michelle were friendly and I would see them again.

Bathrooms need better attention. Halls/atmosphere could be more quiet/soothing. Room & tables need to be warmer.

I absolutely love this place! I was able to make a same day appointment for both a facial and a massage (plus add a bunch of spa upgrades!). The ladies at the front desk are super nice and informative. The waiting room/front desk is always very presentable. They even have a nice selection of teas while you wait :)Heather took care of my facial. She was super informative and knowledgeable about all of the products that were available. She even made suggestions about other products I should try (I have sensitive skin). My face is totally glowing :)Kayla took care of my massage. I had her as a massage therapist the first time I went; I was very happy I got to see her again. She remembered my issues that I brought up before (arthritis) and catered to it very well! She was able to hammer out all if my knots!In between my services I was offered a robe, slippers, and a bag for my items so I didnt have to re-dress and undress. I had a chance for more tea and a bathroom break (very important).I will always highly suggest Hand and Stone at Southlands. I was so well taken care of both times, even by other staff members not taking care of my appointment. Im glad I bought a membership; so worth it! Excellent service ALL AROUND! Thank you!

They were very nice at first, now one on their massage therapist had cracked my rib , he seem very concerned about it and said if i have any issues with it please let him know, so i went to the ER same day because i couldnt hardly walk so i called them to let them know what had happened . Ive called the manager several times and she will not call me back .... she dosent know what im talking about... she sure was nice when they wanted you to sign up IM CANCELLING membership. . VERY BAD COMPANY

I absolutely love Southlands Hand and Stone. Staff is very friendly and always very helpful. I have been getting massages from Stephen Marquardt regularly. He definitely knows his stuff and how to take care of my injured hands, back and stiff neck with the greatest of care. He checks in with me regarding pressure and regularly communicates with me when there are changes. He introduced me to the Thera Cane which is a wonderful pressure point tool. Its pretty evident he loves to teach and heal. Stephen is very respectful of his clients and their needs so you wont be disappointed.

First experience getting a massage. I went on the recommendation of my chiropractor and had a very positive experience. I had an issue with a pinched nerve in my neck and strained tendon in my arm. Stephen was great! He listened to my issues and was able to address the problem. Everyone was very professional and kind.

A friend treated me to a facial after I had surgery. The facial was very relaxing and the woman that helped me was very nice. The only issue I had was the last product that was used left a fuzzy residue all over my face.

Wonderful atmosphere. My massagist went above and beyond to work on muscle knots on my upper back.

Low rating because it’s been over a week since I made a complaint and their manager hasn’t even called me back to address it I had a facial done with micro dermabrasion the treatment didn’t work my face didn’t feel exfoliated after it was a complete wast of money and time I get more action from a 10$ scrub I have at home my face feels so much cleaner and it’s 10$ for a whole box of it I paid 100$ before tip for nothing the tech said my skin will feel sensitive after the treatment and It did not I didn’t feel sensitive to anything not to the sun not to the wind

First time in here and i was delighted , i had a massage at 5pm and facial at 6pm yesterday but dont remember the names of my therapists , they both did great .. Definitely coming back soon

Been a member for over a year and have visited multiple locations. This location was the first I have been to where I did not feel welcomed. I was not offered water or tea when I checked in not even a greeting. Kids were all over the place and my service felt a bit rushed. The longer I am with this company the more I am thinking of going back to previous spa chains other then hand and stone. Some locations are great but none of them offer the same experience which is disappointing.

Was treated to an awesome Facial and massage for mothers day. Loved it so much i bought into a monthly package.

I loved my massage and facial. However, after I purchased a much needed sunscreen for my face due to sun damage, I found that same product on Amazon for $18 cheaper! Thats ridiculous.

Never going back, I recommend if you want your moneys worth, to go elsewhere. my massages and facials Ive had here are only 50 mins total, and I pay for 60 mins! Ive complained before but they dont care enough to follow up! they sure have no problem taking your money right out of your account though! they are definitely more about quantity than they are about quality, so keep that in mind if you are thinking about joining... Plus, even though I have had the same girl a couple of times for massage, she is inconsistent with her technique, and Ive noticed this with all of the therapists, as Ive been a member now for over 2 years 2 many!

The front desk was disorganized and got my appointment wrong. I called to book an appointment and the woman seemed distracted so I confirmed time 3 times on the call before hanging up. I arrived only to find out that they had me for the wrong time. The time they had me booked I did not have a sitter so could not go to it and they used one of my credits because I cancelled too soon to appointment when it was her problem! So unprofessional they need to revamp the front desk.

I have been there twice, because I am all about second chances. The first time that I went there, I received a massage. The masseuse did not seem to know what she was doing. The massage was no better than one I could receive at home from a friend or from my spouse. I was not impressed the first time, but decided to give them another chance with a waxing service for my second appointment. Upon my arrival, the esthetician came out from the back to the front desk and rudely stated she wouldnt have time for me, even though I had an appointment. She did not apologize nor did she even acknowledge that I was sitting right in front of her. They then proceeded to tell me that Ill need to reschedule because their esthetician couldnt see me today. Very unfortunate experience. I will not be going back.
