Loved the service. I had my haircut and color done by Grace and she was amazing. She made sure that the shade looked perfect in the end. She was also very prompt in giving recommendations and thorough too. I will be going here again and mainly for Grace. Also one last thing, due to the new CDC mandate, I was wearing a mask in the salon and Grace respected that by wearing one all the time.

I don’t normally post reviews let alone negative reviews, but what happened to me today at Soleil Salon and Day Spa is completely unprofessional, rude, and just horrible customer service. I booked an appointment weeks ago for a massage for 2:30pm today on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. After receiving a voicemail today at 12:19pm from Colleen to confirm (see attached pic as evidence), I left work early and drove the 35 minutes over to Aurora; I arrived at 2:20pm and filled out some paperwork as it was my first-ever appointment at Soleil. Colleen, the receptionist, also marked my Groupon as used on my cell phone.What happened next shocked and horrified me. After a few minutes, around 2:40pm, 10 minutes AFTER my massage was supposed to start, Colleen came over to where I was waiting for my appointment and told me that Beth, the massage therapist, just called in sick and wouldn’t be able to give me a massage today. I asked Colleen when Beth had notified her, and Colleen said Beth texted Colleen at 2:20pm this afternoon saying she couldn’t come in. Ten minutes before you knew you had an appointment? Really? Beth really waited until ten minutes before my 230pm appointment to let the receptionist know she couldn’t make it. At this point, as you could imagine, I’m frustrated and extremely upset.Number one: Beth should have seen she had a 2:30pm massage appointment and notified Colleen WAY earlier than 2:20pm—don’t you think—so that Colleen could call me and tell me not to leave work early AND not to drive the 35 minutes over to Soleil in Aurora for my nonexistent massage this afternoon.Number two: Why did Colleen mark my Groupon voucher as used at 2:30pm—right before my supposed appointment—if she knew Beth STILL had not yet arrived at Soleil Spa? All of this sounds super sketchy and wreaks of shady business practices.Number three: I asked to speak with Amanda, the owner, but I was told Amanda would call me to talk about what happened today. I have yet to hear back from Amanda.I just got home now at 3:30pm. No massage and the worst massage experience from a customer service perspective I’ve ever experienced in my life. I wouldn’t wish what happened to me upon my worst enemy, and I hope things get corrected so something like this never happens again. I am not going back to Soleil, and I strongly suggest that the reader also stay away.

My hair was to be highlghted- when I left it was the same color, it was burned everywhere. There were no foils used. It was a mess.Very Disappointed.

Got scheduled for a 1:30pm appointment for a facial with the front desk rep Von. Got there at about 1:15-1:20pm because I knew there would be paperwork to fill out since it was my first time going. After I completed the paperwork I was then checked and told to have a seat and the esthetician will be with me shortly. After 30 minutes of PATIENTLY waiting and absolutely no update on the status from Von or anyone I then inquired and asked how much longer it would be. Von said she would ask and give me an update. Well, she didnt! At 2:10 after 40 minutes of waiting I then go up to her again and ask what happened and told her it wasnt fair that I was still waiting and that I was even early for my appointment! She then said “Oh wow really” as if she had no clue that I checked in early. She told me she would ask again and let me know I then told her don’t worry about it and walked out. Literally a minute later I received a text message saying that my 2 oclock appt had been cancelled. I was furious! First off my appt was scheduled for 1:30pm and then to just cancel a persons appt without even reaching out or at least pretending like you care is what behooves me! My business was not appreciated at all, nor was my time taken into consideration. Customer service skills here definitely need to be revamped. Please go where you are appreciated. Unfortunately here I was not. I did not feel accepted nor important at this establishment at all!

While I realize people are nervous about the virus, I honestly felt very comfortable going and getting my hair cut and my eyebrows done on Wednesday. The salon was immaculate, Erin had on a plastic face mask. I had my face mask on the entire time. They are not blow drying hair right now which is so smart. I would recommend this hair salon to anyone who needs to get a cut or color, brows or facials done.

I’ve always had a great experience when I’ve gone. Staff is great convenient location to my daughter’s home. I live on the east coast and I’m I’ll be surprised on how accommodating they are in getting me in for color or whatever I need

Beth is one of the best massage therapists that I have ever gone too. She is able to customize the massage based on what you want and your body needs. I walked out of Soleil feeling like a new person!

Erin did am awesome cut and low lights. They were even able to get me in same day!

My experience was fantastic! I was extremely nervous at 1st, but my stylist Alyssa was GREAT. Not only did she make me feel at ease but she also did great job and fixed my hair that was NOT cut correctly from a previous place. I highly recommend.

Had a Spa day that included facial, massage, mani sure, pedicure & hair styling! Everything was amazing!! Staff is wonderful!

Love this salon! It has such a chill atmosphere and does not smell like chemicals. And the ladies are just awesome. They definitely arent speaking any foreign languages around the clients. Strictly professionals!

Teasha has done my daughter’s make up for prom for the last 2 years and she has done a fabulous job and she made a teenager very happy! She takes the time to find out exactly what you are looking for and also uses her expertise to enhance that even more! Teasha also has done my facials and by far they are the best I have ever had! She has an incredible knowledge of the skin and her facials are incredibly relaxing and my skin looks and feels great afterward afterwards.Jen W. Has been doing my pedicures for years and I absolutely love what she does! She is such a warm hearted gal that she makes you feel like family. I always look forward to my time with her and she gives such a great, professional pedicure. She’s the best!Erin has done special event/prom hair for my daughters and she has such a talent, I would recommend her to anyone! She can literally do anything and work miracles!

I made an appointment for basic pedicure, pricing on website wss $40. When my pedicure person started water she asked what salts I wanted, I stated again I wanted basic pedicure. She added some salts, said It was the basic. I have leukemia, so I explained how my feet needed to be treated. Their tubs have plastic disks that plug water, not knowing this, I accidentally moved mine & drained all water. She refilled it, but didnt add anymore salts. We barely talked the entire time. When done I was led to front desk where she told them whatever pedicure. I was charged $65. When I got home I double checked rates, I was not charged for basic at all. I will never recommend this place.

Disappointing. The staff members I have spoken with were all pleasant, but this place does not even pay their staff legally. Illegal 1099 to avoid payroll taxes? Not a place I want to give money to.

I have been getting manicures, pedicures, massages, etc. at Soleil for over two years now. They moved...I followed. When you find great service and a friendly, clean atmosphere where they treat you like a friend you stick with them! I will never go anywhere else!

Always love getting my hair styled by Erin. She has personality plus. Have been going here for years and highly recommend Erin.

Im not giving reviews but this time I had!Worst service ever and too expensive!When I called she said hair cut is between $15 and $65 and off course she charged me full price of $65,Im just thinking what is $15 if she cut my hair for only 1 inch and did work for 20 min.Plus she also did loose curls and charged me extra which didn’t stay even one hour,when I called her she told me that is normal ??? Avoid this place,They will rip you off!
