Thrilled to be referred to Dr. Mark Mayburry and MyEyeDr. After years with another optometrist (who retired) closer to my old home I decided to find a new eye doctor close to my home in Aurora. It was easy to make an appointment and office manager Patty called the day before to get my vision insurance information. The office is still requiring masks and was clean and organized. Dr. Mayburry is friendly and answered all of my questions. He also went over the eye scans that were done (optional charge of $39 but so so much better than dilating eyes) and gave me an updated prescription.I like that the office offers Saturday appointments and the parking is easy in the Cornestar shops next to PokeCity.Two eyes open for Dr. Mayburry and MyEyeDr. Aurora Cornerstar!

Doctor Maybury is the best, He knows what he is doing. The one star is not for the Doctor but its for the staff. We showed up for an eye exam me and my wife, after signing up the paperwork, she took us straight to get images of the eye, after that we saw Doc Maybury. After the visit she handed me the bill of $78. When I asked she said for the images. My insurance covered the visit but not the images. They work there and they know better but they took advantage of us. Not telling the customer what they expect to pay out of pocket is a RIP-OFF ladies and gentlemen!! Supposed to tell us would you like to take an eye image? Its gonna be extra charge of $39 each, but noooo, they took us straight there, like if it was included to guarantee the money. Worthless and disappointing behavior. Beware people, always ask if thats extra charge! I dont have $78 extra to spare during this pandemic, we struggle to even pay the rent.

The staff were nice and helpful. I appreciate the steps theyre taking to restrict the amount of people inside. The doctor was helpful and explained the vision situation to us in detail. My daughter found some glasses she wanted and hopefully theyll work well. She was confused on the options and the input on getting the right pair of frames was really nice.However, this was really odd, but the doctor had a moment of spreading some pretty debunked COVID-19 misinformation. He asked my daughter about school and said she should be able to go full time. He said that for a nation with the best healthcare in the world (dubious claim itself) how could we actually have such a higher amount of deaths? He came to the conclusion that we dont, and that the hospitals must be lying on death certificates for more money.It was frankly bizarre, coming from a doctor. Youd think hed look into it a little more and see that the excess deaths disprove that notion and show that, if anything, were under-counting COVID-19 deaths. I do worry that someone in the medical field would be that partisan and unaware of the facts. I considered leaving for a little bit, to be honest.Having said that, I dont know that that has anything to do with getting the right prescription for my daughter. And the procedures in the office for COVID-19 seemed reasonable so I didnt see an immediate risk.Its okay, we all make mistakes, I just hope hed use his training more than politics and look into the facts of the matter and come to a more reasonable conclusion as opposed to spreading dangerous misinformation in a time when we need unity.

We moved from TX and the first place we went to was awful. I was definitely on a mission to find a practice who cared and didnt treat us like we were on an assembly line. We were so blessed to find Eclipse Vision! Myself and my family will be customers for the rest of our Colorado lives! ❤ Amazing human interaction and amazing customer service, especially during the rona epidemic.

Dr Mark is very knowledgeable, professional and caring which made my family and I feel immediately comfortable. He also has a great sense of humor! I was dazzled by all the neat eye gadgets and tools, very interesting. So impressed with his staff too. They friendly and professional, nice, clean and comfortable office.

I took my 91 year old father in for a routine checkup. It was just after opening up after ordered closed for COVID-19. My father was treated extremely well and he stated the exam was very thorough.

This was probably the best experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. I called on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me in same day. The staff were all very nice and friendly. The doctor was extremely knowledge and did a great job of explaining everything thoroughly

Dr Maybury is awesome! He made my husband very at ease seeing a new eye Dr. My Husband had been going to Americas Best for years and they had him wearing the wrong Rx of contacts. Now he has the correct Rx and can see so much better.When we left my husband said he knows his stuff!! Ive been going to him for 3 years and love him.

Wonderful service and value. Dr. Maybury was more than willing to triple and quadruple check my prescription during my appointment and never made me feel rushed. The entire staff is equally accommodating and polite. They didnt rush me through the selection process and have been happy to adjust my glasses on subsequent visits.

Dr. Maybury has over 40 years of experience in his field of work, and really knows what hes doing. If you have any eye concerns at all, come to him, and Im sure hell know what you need. Ive been going to this location for four years now, and I am very satisfied with my results, and the friendliness of the staff. My only qualm with this place though, is that they dont accept a few more insurance providers anymore- namely Medicaid- and I had to pay $106 for my last appointment.

Eclipse vision source is an exceptional place for eye care. I was there for an emergency and Dr. Mayburry and his entire staff gave me all the time needed for the problem. I have been going there for over 20 years and always have the best eye care possible.

Great people great eye doc

I normally have great service here. But this last time I showed up, after having gotten about my 4th appt reminder....the last just 2 hours before my appointment....to have them tell me they canceled my appointment because I didn’t call them to confirm. Seriously? I have always shown up for my appointments....so no history as a no show. I didn’t really feel I needed an exam.... but made it a point to show up on time for my annual appointment anyway. I am upset because this was a huge inconvenience for me and to show up promptly for my appt and be told they cancelled it made me pretty angry. My appt was at 2:30. I had a reminder text from them at 12:32 that same day. Didn’t think I needed to call and confirm when less than two hours before my appt they were sending me a confirmation.

Our family has seen Dr. Maybury for more than 20 years and trust him fully with our eye care!

Had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Maybury! I have always disliked eye docs for the simple fact that I dont understand how they can gauge your vision by asking if picture 1 or 2 is better and I have had many incorrect eyeglass prescriptions in the past. The office is clean and inviting. Staff is amazing. Dr. Maybury is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything. They have eye-mapping where you can see a picture of the back of your eye and I love being able to see what a doctor sees. The staff member that helped me pick out my eyeglasses was patient and she did a great job despite by nervousness to do so without bringing someone I knew to help me find what looks good. I would highly recommend them!

Went their because my eye was in pain and red, the dr misdiagnosed me and i ended up blind in my right eye with something much more serious that could take a month to heal.
