Had 3 colos with Weinstein in the pass and my insurance always covered 100%. This last time they said I had to pay over $900 myself. After calling my insurance they confirmed that it is covered 100%. His office said it was because I has polyps in the past.In short they coded wrong and refused to change it. So I went to another doctor at 5671 Peachtree Dunwoody, almost next door and had to pay nothing.Saved myself $900.

I had a colonoscopy yesterday and was very impressed at how well the staff was qualified and at the same time compassionate with the patients needs. This place runs like a clock! The staff always keeps you informed every step of the way and answers questions with ease. DR Weinstein is not only an excellent skilled doctor but able to organize a sophisticated staff. Well Done!

I was referred to Dr Weinstein by my Primary Care Physician. When I initially called this office there was no answer and it took them 3 hrs to call me back. When they did call back the staff person was rather rude. Based on this I decided not to go to this doctor. I told my PC about my experience and within 15 minutes of hanging up with him, I received a call from Dr Weinstein’s office. I made an appointment. Dr Weinstein was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but I can not say anything positive about his office staff. They are mediocre. I also did not like the fact that they insist I get a COVID 19 test before a procedure when I do not have any symptoms. They also perform endoscopies in their office, a little uncomfortable with that. I guess I’ll see how it goes. If Dr Weinstein can find the cause of my severe stomach pain, I will be so happy. The lost star is due to the office staff not Dr Weinstein.

Dr Weinstein ordered some tests for me, which were completed on Friday of a holiday weekend. He called me on the holiday Monday and spent 25 minutes explaining the results. He is kind and compassionate, with a good bedside manner.. His “Best Docs” recommendations are truly deserved..

Dr Weinstein....Worst Dr ever. I found him online for my daughter a few years ago. Wasnt that impressed with him or staff to begin with on our first visit.He recommended her to get a colonoscopy but we couldnt afford the $900 Part the insurance didnt pay so we just couldntdo it and he refused to take payments.Wouldnt give her Amy medication to relieve her pain either.Several years later she is suffering more with her Crohns and decided to make appointment so we could get the colonoscopy set up.It was a virtual appointment due to covid19. They didnt tell her she had to sign in ahead of time just told her what time her appoinyment was. So she trys to sign in and couldnt because it said technical problems.She calls in and tells them shecant sign in and thelady that answered was super rude to her.Told her they didnt see her in the waiting room so they cancelled her appointment. She told her she couldnt sign in it wouldnt let her and theattitude said why didnt you call us and tell us.My daughter was like thats what Im doing now.MS rudeness said well weve cancelled your appointment.Its obvious they could care less about their patients care and well being. Seems theyre just concerned with money. I guess if you have money thats how you get great care from him otherwise youre a waste of his timeTake my advice go somewhere else.

Dr. Weinstein is excellent and cares very much about his patients. He is knowledgeable and follows up to ensure all is well. My husband and I consider David Weinstein a great blessing as he helped to restore his health at a critical time. We highly recommend Dr Weinstein.
