I had an injection procedure for my back first thing this morning with Doctor Sloan and his staff. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There was very little waiting between each step in the process. I was in and out very quickly, but not rushed.I would describe Doctor Sloan’s manner as direct and “down to business.” Some might mistake this as unfriendly, but I am one that appreciates this approach. Also, during the procedure, Doctor Sloan gave me a ‘heads-up’ as to what he was about to do BEFORE he did it. This happened for each step in the process. I am one that REALLY appreciates this type of information.I have absolutely no complaints as to my experience from today. You might ask, “why only four stars?” If you’re like me and you’re looking for usable data, you’ll throw out all of the 1-star and 5-star reviews and concentrate on the testimonials in-between. So, I’m giving a 4-star review so that people will actually read about my positive experience.

I have seen Dr. Sloan for two different problems that I have had over the last 10 years. Dr. Sloan is a great physician and I trust him completely with my treatments. I find him to be very detailed in his assessments and treatments. I recommend Dr. Sloan to my friends and family.

This doctor is very rude, condescending and arrogant! Don’t go see him if you’ve been in a car accident as his immediate default thinking is that you’re not injured, you’re just trying to get paid and he will mess up your medical records to make it seem as if you were faking or exaggerating your pain. He’s not in your body so he nor any doctor or person can connect with the pain you feel in your body. He should be reported to the medical board for his ineptness

I was referred to Dr. Sloan after experiencing pain in my lower back which affect my hip and there are times walking and standing can be difficult. This was my first meeting with him. He is truly an awesome doctor. He takes time to listen, answers your questions and explains so you can understand. I have to also give a shoutout to his staff. They greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable.

I’ve been going to Dr. Sloan for consultation, treatment, and procedures (epidural injections) for several years, and highly recommend him. He is very thorough and explains everything in as much detail (including going over x-ray and MRI pics and reports) as I am willing to hear. He’s very good at explaining complex things in a way that I can appreciate, understand and act upon. His staff responds promptly to inquiries. The entire Resurgens group is quite good, and Sloan is one of their best.

How would you take it if you spent 2 hours stuck in traffic to get to your appointment, calling THREE times along the way to let the office know, only to be told once you’re there that he, Reuben Sloan, only accepts patients who are on time?! Now add to that reviews by patients who were kept waiting or treated rudely. Reschedule? When you-know-where freezes over. The very fine doctor who recommended this A-h0le will hear about this. Too bad they don’t offer minus star ratings. He’s-5

Dr. Sloan is an excellent 0rthopedic Surgeon who was able to diagnose the reason for my pain and begin an effective means of treatment. He is highly skilled and a reassuring communicator. .

Dr. Sloan is outstanding. Hes honest, direct and understanding. He LISTENED to me describe my symptoms and calmed me down after hearing a diagnosis I didnt expect. Ive never felt rushed or ignored and he and his PA have given me hope that I can be active again. They were also honest about limitations from here on... His staff supports the practice with the same positive level of effort. Theyre responsive, friendly and considerate. I recommend Dr. Sloan to anyone I meet suffering from an injury like mine. He is helping me find relief from pain I didnt know existed. I know a lot of docs and Dr. Sloan is good person that genuinely cares about his patients.

I was seen by Dr. E. Rooney, Dr. Sloans P.A. After the wait my experience was awesome. Dr.Rooney was very attentive to details, she listened, she showed concern for me and was very meticulous, and in the end we came up with a plan of actions. Her personality was so warming. She did not rush through my appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Rooney.

Dr. Sloan and his staff are wonderful. I have been a patient of Dr. Sloan’s for a number of years. Occasionally, I will have to wait longer than I would like but then I remember when I need more of his time than my appointment allows Dr. Sloan does not rush me out. Dr. Sloan is an oustanding physician and I highly recommend him and his staff.

Very clean office rooms were nice patients were very social in the waiting room front desk staff were very nice doctors and physicians assistants were attentive

This guy is a very rude, inattentive, unprofessional so called Doctor. He doesnt listen to what you have to say. He talks all over you. I mean his bedside manners are terrible. He keeps you waiting forever and he gives prescriptions that the doctor I saw after him says is antiquated in the profession. He was also rude to his own staff, which was awful to see. What a waste of time and my hard earn out of pocket funds. See him at your own risk.
