If I’m being honest I was a little a skeptical about going because I saw a few bad review and wanted to make sure I picked the right place. I decided to go and schedule an appointment with Dina because she had the best reviews. Dina did not disappoint! She was very nice and made me feel very comfortable (given that I was nervous). You could tell she had been waxing for a very long time and did her job very well. She was sanitary and never doubled dipped in the wax pot and also placed the wax in a way to reduce pain (make sure it is wasn’t as painful) The shop itself was very clean and also followed covid guidelines. Definitely recommend and will be going back again!

I’ve never been waxed before, was so nervous and felt really self conscious going in. I had Sam and she was absolutely professional. Any feelings of self consciousness or strangeness completed disappeared. I felt no different than going to a barber. I was very happy with the result. Being a guy shaving and trimming can be a little tricky and now I know how to take care of my grooming every time. Will definitely be back to see Sam.

I visited Relax&Wax for the first time ever today. I called the same day and was able to get an appointment for a Brazilian sugar wax. The front desk rep was so attentive and polite. She immediately greeted me when I entered. I did not have to wait and Barbara took me as soon as I entered. When I say this was the best wax I’ve ever had, I’m not even exaggerating. Barbara was soooo nice. She engaged in conversation the whole way through to distract me from the pain. She was efficient and really took her time. I swear when she was done I didn’t see a single hair left. She got everything. This was the first time I’ve ever had a wax without hair left over or wax stuck somewhere. The place is also very clean and reasonably priced. I will be coming back and booking with Barbara!

I’ve been going to this location to get waxed the past few months, and I was serviced by Dina each time! She always made sure that I was comfortable and did an amazing job! I went to relax and wax for my first time getting a Brazilian wax. My Esthetician was Barbara and she was absolutely the best. I was so nervous but Barbara made sure I was comfortable and relaxed for my first time. The price was definitely reasonable and I was able to leave Barbara with a tip because of her wonderful service. They even had homemade scrubs that I was able to purchase for home after care. I will definitely be visiting again very soon

Listen!! These ladies helped me clean up my wild side lol from initial greeting over the phone to the in- person check-in, I felt relaxed. Annnd the actual wax wasn’t bad with esthetician ( Barbara, i think was her name) handling my lady parts with care and making sure I was comfortable. The experience was pleasant and I will be back.

I will not be coming back here. From being greeted in the lobby by a lizard—to being sent to the wrong room and being told only after I got undressed and on the table—to being charged extra for every little thing, my first experience here was a mediocre disappointment. Came for a Brazilian and under arm wax and was told the bikini line was considered “inner thigh” which would cost more if I wanted that hair removed. When I told my waxer multiple times the wax was too hot, she dismissed my claim and was way more concerned with getting me out as quickly as possible despite any unnecessary pain or discomfort (I have a high pain tolerance).

Samantha was very gentle and considerate that it had been a long time since I had a wax.

I have had nothing short of exceptional experiences at Relax and Wax. I highly recommend Barbara for waxing services. Barbara is professional, kind, patient and punctual. When I began going to R&W, it had been about ten years since my last waxing service. Needless to say, I was very sensitive and nervous, especially going in for a full body wax. Barbara set me at ease, is fun and interesting to speak with and she’s good at distracting me from the most painful part of waxing: my lower legs! 😝 yes, I recommend this location, services are very reasonably priced, clean location (parking is a bit of a issue if you go on the weekends or evenings). Claudia was absolutely amazing! I get a brazillian hard wax every now and then and wanted to try this location to get a sugar wax Brazilian. It was less painful than the normax Brazilian waxes i normally get from a different location and Claudia was amazing and made me feel very comfortable! She even let me squeeze her arm (it had been awhile since the last wax ok lol!) And she talked me through the process and engaged to distract me which I love! I look forward to going to her regularly!

I recently went to visit for a Brazilian wax. I was a last minute walk in and this would have been my second waxing in life. Sam had the pleasure of cleaning up my jewels and I advised her that I was a flincher/screamer. She laughed and stated I would be just fine and she will make me as comfortable as possible. Man i tell you the way i laughing and just enjoying great conversation with her she took my mind off my butterfly position as well as the pain. I didn’t scream not once! I laughed the entire time. The receptionist is super sweet and with the best eye brows (mental note to get her contact on next visit). I really appreciated Claudia. She was attentive and only communicated as much as I was comfortable with. She also took her time and made my waxing experience pleasant. She also doesn’t play that classical spa music. She’s got a really cool playlist.Also, I like her waxing technique. It’s like she knows how to put her fingers down as she waxes to minimize the pain. She knows what she’s doing and no bumps or anything afterwards. Tendskin is the best thing, which is something they advocate to use.

I decided to try a new place in my area and with the reviews, I was excited to walk-in and be serviced. I have to say this was the worst waxing experience ever. The lady who waxed me did not hold down the area at all after she yanked the hair, she just added more wax and yanked again! The wax was hot and dripping everywhere, also. I told her and she did what I asked for not even 3 minutes, she was back to yanking and pulling, not blowing the wax. I’m very understanding like ok, maybe she’s having a bad day but here I am 2 weeks later with 3 hair bumps. Not to mention my wax wasn’t done properly, I still had hairs on the behind area. I don’t even leave reviews, but I am highly upset. I have to say this was the worst experience and worst wax EVER!

I had my FIRST EVER brazilian wax and was super nervous. I’m getting married on Sunday and wanted to be hair free. From the time I walked into room 2, Barbara made me feel super comfortable. It’s very unfortunate but they just lost loyal a customer. I was so loyal I’d drive all the way from camp creek & honestly I’m never coming back here or recommending anyone to this place ever again. To say that they alway contact me on my current number and then this new girl at the front desk (destiny) claims to have sent me a text telling me my appointment was canceled but somehow conveniently sent it to my old number allowing me to waste gas miles and a good chunk of my day is beyond despicable. I hope the foreign lady comes back early from maternity leave cuz destiny will drive all your clients away.

She made me feel very comfortable .. this was my first time gettin a sugar wax and when I say she took her time but was also very fast with it I was surprised. Relax & Wax Cumberland is amazing. Masks are required and they check your temperature. I have been here numerous times and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so friendly. I recommend Sam. I’m disappointed to say the least I really contemplated on leaving this review but after speaking to the owner I must. I went to get a Brazilian and I was left in shock when I seen the lady not only double but quadruple dipping I was not only disgusted but I was at a loss for words. The risk of a bacterial infection so unhygienic and it’s NOT permitted within state-board guidelines. I too work in this industry I’m an esthetician so seeing this left me in utter disgust.Anyways I called the following day to speak to owner and I expressed my concerns and her response was that they use cups but I explained that it was the soft waxed that she was double dipping onto and all she said was okay I’ll take care of it. I was honestly even more disappointed when the owner couldn’t even apologize on her behalf not even an explanation ( to address that’s not their protocol) , nothing to offer in return.

I’ve been a few times and have unfortunately been to much better waxing spas for a few reasons:1. They don’t tweeze after a Brazilian so I have had hairs left every time. It seems like they rush to get customers in and out vs. taking the time to do a quality job.2. They don’t lather up the waxed areas with aloe or oil unless you ask. One time I asked, they put an oil on that ruined the shirt I was wearing, and the other time I asked they lightly sprayed the waxed area a couple times. This lack of moisture led to dryness and irritation of the waxed areas.3. I had my arms waxed most recently and it pulled the skin off with the hair. I moisturize daily and am not using any medication on my skin, so there’s no excuse for that to happen. I’ve had my arms waxed countless times before at other wax spas and the skin has never been pulled off.Disappointed that this location didn’t work for me due to the great reviews.Edit: adjusting to 1 star vs. the original 2 after I saw the business insinuated I was writing fake reviews. It’s a completely baseless claim and in poor taste given I tried this location 3 times from June-September before writing a bad review to ensure it wasn’t a “one-off” bad experience. Bad reviews should be met courtesy and a commitment to do better, not an attempt to discredit the reviewer.

After the Nightmare of my 1st wax at Brazilian Wax by Andreia (Cobb drive) I decided to give it one more chance. I choose this place instead and did Sugaring. I read really good reviews about Sam & she is AMAZING!! The receptionist was super kind. Sam made me feel comfortable, considering my first waxing experience was HORRIBLE. The KEY with Sam is her technique!!! She used Small pieces, did little sections, & held my skin after. & It only took 20min.!!! I am so happy & satisfied! The Sugaring application does hurt compared to the hard wax because it’s going in the opposite direction, but Sam made it Less Painful! I did Not hurt walking out of there!! Sam, thankyou! You are very sweet & professional! I will be returning:)

I drive from Alpharetta to Atlanta to go to Relax & Wax because Claudia and the team are simply THE best!!! Eyebrows, brazilians, and everything in between--from the moment I walk in the door I have an amazing experience. The rooms are crystal clean and Claudia always goes above and beyond to ensure that I am comfortable while she gets me all the way together! She is precise, thorough, and yes--a perfectionist. She is like family at this point! I will never go anywhere else for grooming.

So many times I can tell some wax techs feel uncomfortable with waxing Women of Size but not Sam she got my whole situation situated in a matter of minutes. I choose to write this review almost a week later bc I wanted to make sure that I did have any breakouts bruising or ingrowns and I dont! And she does Vagacials! I highly recommend going to see her!

I have gone here for years but after yesterdays appointment I will no longer visit this place of business. I had my usual waxing done and the woman doing the waxing kept re-waxing the same area. As a result, my skin was removed and now I may have scarring depending on the severity of the burn. She also made my eyebrows extremely thin and continued to pluck and wax the same areas over. I didnt have a unibrow but she waxed the area anyways. Now I am missing skin from my forehead, and the side of my mouth, and upper lip.

I go to Sam for my waxing, she’s so good I will not go to anyone else. Sam will get absolutely everything, leaving no stubborn hairs behind and even triple checks to make sure.

Great conversation, motivating words, all while being gentle with the essentials. It was only for a short time, but I felt rejuvenated afterwards and even more relaxed! I see Dina every four weeks for a sugaring. She is kind and professional, and I also enjoy her company. She convinced me to switch over to sugarings because of my sensitive skin. She remembers me and always asks me about my son and family. I moved recently and still make the drive to see her! Totally recommend!

The staff was very friendly and it was clean. You need to wear a mask and they take your temperature. The online prices did not match what I paid. It says $10 for eyebrow wax online but I was charged $15. I wish that I had been told beforehand because I probably would have gone elsewhere. $15 is too pricey for an eyebrow wax.ETA after response from owner. I clicked Georgia locations and just noticed the extremely small print for the Cumberland location which I did not see prior. You need to make the text bigger on the website or when a prospective client clicks on Georgia locations, have separate pricing for each location so as not to confuse customers.

This has been my go to place for years! Ive been to everyone here and they are all professional and friendly. I recommend them to all of my friends and are in a good location.

I like it here. My esthetician was very friendly and accommodating, she made my experience painless and easy which I really appreciate. The service is great and they are flexible with scheduling. My only constructive feedback would be better wax aftercare/ cleanup. My underwear was stuck to my skin when I got home which made for painful removal and a ruined pair of panties. Otherwise, I loved everything else!

First, they had a mask policy in place, and the receptionist was wearing one. The esthetician also wore one. I appreciate that level of care for staff and clients. The waxing service was excellent. I already scheduled my next appointment. Exceptional service.
