I scheduled my mother appointment with Dr. Ryan Friedrich for the first time. I’m glad I made the decision to go to him. His staff is excellent: they are professional, friendly and courteous during my scheduling appointment for my mother and our visit to the doctor office. Dr. Friedrich is professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable when explaining my mother issues with her gum. I was very impressed with the excellent patient care that I scheduled an appointment for myself. I give Dr. Ryan Friedrich and his staff a BRAVO!!

My mother started seeing Dr Friedrich and was with him for as long as can remember. I started going in my in my 20s after taking a break from him. Now my children have grown up with Dr Friedrich. We could not ask for a better dentist who takes the time always asks how you have been and knows my family. I have never had an issues in the 20 years I have being going to see him twice a year every year for cleaning and minor work.

I came to Dr. Friedrich when some old bonding from a decade ago began to breakdown. The staff was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Friedrich, too, has a demeanor that makes you feel very comfortable (even though Ive never been comfortable at the dentist). He was also very helpful in helping me understand what the insurance was and was not likely to cover and what my out of pocket cost would be. When the veneers first came in, they were slightly off color, and instead of trying to rush me in and out the door, they sent them back to make them perfect. I really appreciated their commitment to the final product. My teeth look AMAZING now. I feel like a whole new person.* I should also add that a few years ago I went to a different dentist to try to fix my bonding. He tried, but had to stop because the job was too difficult (the space where I needed it was a tight fit). This, to me, proves the high quality of care Dr. Friedrich and his team offer.

Dr. Friedrich and his Staff are all very well trained in their areas of practice and responsibility. They are always courteous and professional with their interactions with me. They always inquire as to what I been doing in my life.My wife and father-in-law are also patients of Dr. Friedrich.

I really hate to have to write this review because I have been going here for probably around 10 years now, but Ive hit my breaking point.First, Ill start by saying that I did really enjoy coming here for a long time. Dr. Friedrich had been great, staff was great, & I never had any issues.This review comes from my recent choice to pursue orthodontia from Dr. Friedrich. I wanted to do a mail order aligner program which he strongly advised against as there is no dentist monitoring your progress. OK, makes sense. So I ask him to recommend an orthodontist near my new home at which point he advises that they can do aligners here in his office. Great! So I start asking about pricing.Keep in mind I had braces for years as a kid. I just had some very minor shifting from not wearing my retainers. He advised that the cost for UNLIMITED aligners is around $4500, but that he strongly felt I would only need, maybe 7 trays and it would likely be around $2300-$2500. After 50% insurance I didn’t want to pay more than $1k, but ok, I can stretch my budget a little. He stated that the cost was an estimate, and he would not be able to give me the exact cost until they take my digital impression and send them to the lab to get my final treatment plan. There was a $1000 deposit to get started which I confirmed with the front desk was refundable if I didn’t continue.The next week, I go in & pay my $1k deposit. As I am doing the digital mapping, I mention my conversation with the dentist on price. At this point he looks at my teeth and says that he thinks I would fit into a 9 tray program at a cost of around $3000 (?!?!) . At this point, Im already in this, so I guess Im going to be paying $1500 out of pocket. To be on the safe side, I ask again about getting my $1k refunded if the price comes back even higher and I decide not to pursue it. He advised that it would be.A few days later, I receive my emailed treatment plan. $4500 (!) for the unlimited plan - apparently, I needed 12 trays and there is no abbreviated plan for that - only the unlimited plan. WAY over my budget. I responded to the email that it was way more than I wanted to spend and asked if they could please refund the $1k deposit. No reply.It took SEVEN weeks of me calling the office incessantly asking about my refund. Each time they told me the dentist needed to call the lab to determine the cost of developing the treatment plan which would be deducted from my $1k. On week 7 they finally advise that the cost was $150 and they could refund $850. First, it annoys me that I had to follow up and call them AGAIN to get this info. They never initiated any calls with me to advise they were ready to send a check– they waited for me to have to call – again – after 7 weeks. Second, I understand it was an estimate, but given the fact it was so grossly underestimated, it sucks to have to eat that $150 cost – you would think they would understand this and take on the cost to keep a long time patient, but no. Given I have been fighting this for 7 weeks and my HSA is still empty, I take what I can get and confirm my mailing address (they can’t refund it to my card since it has been more than 30 days). NOW, here we are 2 weeks later and still no check. I called today and the girl advises she personally put the check in the mail on the 9th. Last time I checked, even with slow mail, it doesn’t take 2 weeks for mail to go from Buckhead to Norcross. Received the check 3 Days later postmarked on the day of my last call. 😒In all, this whole situation was handled very badly and left a bad taste in my mouth. I lost $150, have no aligners, & the staff made me feel like I was inconvenieng them every time I called. I basically paid $150 for a headache. If you are only needing a cleaning, by all means, go here. But DO NOT purse aligners unless you plan to spend $4500 ---OR have 9+ weeks to wait around while your money is held hostage.

Weve been seeing Dr. Friedrich for our family for over 10 years and could not recommend him any more highly. I have terrible dental issues that over the years with other dentists have caused me great anxiety. Dr. Friedrich and his staff have since helped me endure two root canals and other nerve wracking procedures. Bonus points is the Rock n Roll (Eagles, The Who, Springsteen, etc) music playing throughout the office.

Dr. Friedrich and his entire staff are all great. Very friendly. They take the time to understand what’s going on and make a treatment plan. I have had a lot of terrible dentists in the past but Dr. Friedrich came highly recommended by a good friend who has been a patient for several years. I drive 49 miles to get to his office because it’s well worth it for a good dentist I can really trust.

I have been seeing Dr. Friedrich since 2015. He’s a wonderful dentist and very compassionate. The office is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Weve both been Dr. Friedrichs patients for many, many years--- one of us for over 30 years! Without exception, hes always upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable! His complete interaction with everybody (including his remarkable staff) consistently demonstrates Dr. Friedrichs above-and-beyond kindness and patience! We truly feel like family, not merely patients.

The office is the most friendly office I have ever been in. Just all wonderful people.But the best thing, I get the greatest dental work on my teeth. I never have to decide myself just what I need to have done. Dr. Ryan Friedrich is a great doctor who tells me everything I need to know so I can keep my teeth looking their very best. My family and I have been patients with Dr. Ryan Friedrich, D.D.S since 1993 as the City of Atlanta was gearing up to host the 1994 Olympic Games. I got to know of him thru his volunteering to treat many Olympic athletes, many of whom were from less developed countries and had little access to dental services. At the time, I was impressed with his awareness of the latest advances in dental treatments and his multilingual skills among his patients. On a personal level I have had complete confidence in his treatment recommendations over the last 24 years and as a result I still maintain good functioning teeth and a proud smile, even as I approach 75 years of age. I highly recommend you take the time get to meet Dr. Friedrich and his capable and friendly staff of professionals.

Before I found Dr Friedrich, I had given up that I can find a dentist within my network that was highly competent and dedicated. I am so pleased by the high quality of care that I have received from Dr Freidrich and his staff. Its very rare these days to find a practice such as his. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Friedrich for 3 years now and dont have any plans to leave. In fact, my employer recently changed my dental insurance and the scariest part was thinking I may have to leave! Visited this office for the first time and it was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end.I loathe going to the dentist and I turn into a complete baby. I get extremely anxious so I usually push dentist visits off as long as I can.However, a lot of pain brought me to look for a location near me and I found Dr. Friedrichs office.Check-in was easy and fast. Filled one form out and was quickly called back.Jessica got all my X-Rays and listened to all of my complaints. She was awesome and made me feel so comfortable (something that never happens for me in a dentist office).I told her of my anxiety and she mentioned they can provide laughing gas during my cleaning later.When Dr. Friedrich came in to check out my X-Rays he was super personable and thorough in explaining everything he wanted to do. He, too, made me feel so comfortable. He was very polite and reassuring. I don’t think I’ve had any dentist spend as much time as he did explaining options & treatment plan.To prep me for my cleaning, Jessica hooked me up with the laughing gas and gave me a stress ball in each hand. This gesture meant so much to me. I usually clasp my hands so tight they’re on the brink of amputation. (No exaggeration)Another sweet lady named Jessica did my cleaning. She checked in multiple times throughout the entire time she was cleaning and I felt sparkling clean afterwards!I felt like everyone I encountered here truly enjoyed what they do and it was tangible by their words & actions.This was probably the best dentist experience I’ve had. I’m so glad I found this place!

Dr. Friedrich and his team are super nice, painfree, and play great music! The doc is one cool dude in addition to being an expert dentist. And its always easy to get a parking spot right out in front! Very convenient to get to and never a long wait.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming, no judgement for people like me who havent been to the dentist in years, and most importantly, I could not be more satisfied with the work they did (which was to repair decade old and ugly bonding). I would give more stars if I could. I had this incredible pain in my molars that I knew needed attention right away. The dental assistants were nice enough to take x-rays in the morning and schedule an appointment with Dr. Friedrich later that day.Later in the day, Dr. Friedrich listened to my concerns and was able to diagnose the problem. He attended to my tooth right away and him and Jess, one of the dental assistants, even stayed late to make sure I left pain free. Cant thank them enough for their help! I would recommend them to anyone who is seeking a professional and friendly dentist and staff.
