Mark is phenomenal and fantabulous! I moved to Georgia a little over 2 years ago and have struggled to find a hair stylist. He did a great job getting me back to the icy blonde I like. And when I forgot that I normally do a shadow root with it, he was very accommodating and was able to fit me in to make the adjustments! Mark is the BEST hair stylist!!! I have thick hair cut in an inverted bob that Im transitioning to grow out. He spent a lot of time looking at pictures and talking to me to figure out exactly what I wanted my hair to look like (cut and color). He was super detailed when cutting my hair (really knows what hes doing). He cut it perfectly even (rarely happens) and it turned out absolutely beautiful!! Oh, and the color!! I moved to Atlanta 2 years ago and as any woman knows, leaving your hairdresser can be traumatic! I had been going to the same place for 20 + years and was very happy so the thought Of trying to find a new colorist sent me into a tailspin.Once I got here I went through 4 different colorist and was NOT happy with any of them. Coloring your hair blonde can be very tricky. You can end up brassy, frosted, with burnt hair or in my case a plastic doll yellow!When I went searching again I found Mark’s website and saw his many before and after photos. He also talked about matching the hair color to your complexion, which was really the problem with the yellow blonde I had been getting since moving to Atlanta. I went in for a consultation and while I was there he did a quick glaze on me just to get me through to my scheduled appointment in a few weeks. Instantly my hair looked 100% better! It looked natural abd was no longer that fake, yellow color.When I went back for my scheduled appointment a few weeks later, he was so patient and listened to all my concerns and really took his time to correct all the problems I had with my color. In the 7 months since then, he has done my hair every 4 weeks and it just keeps getting better!!! I finally love my hair again. If you are looking for a true artist with color, mark is your man!

I went to Mark Lares on a referral from a friend, I started with a bang cut I was so impressed cause my bangs are not easy, I have a cow lick etc from the first cut I could easily dry my bangs without flat ironing them! I have been going to Mark for 15 years! He is fantastic and I get compliments on my hair every single day. Regardless of what part of town I live in, I make the trip to Mark for my hair. I have long, straight hair that he does a beautiful and natural looking red. No one can tell I have it dyed and its because of his expertise. I would consider red the most difficult color Ive ever had to keep looking beautiful and unfaded but Mark makes it look great and so easy to keep.

As a femake, I have wants and needs (don’t all female?) and at his salon I can always look forward to happiness and RELAXATION (which is so important to me) in the vibrating salon shampoo chair. Was referred to Mark thru a friend. My hair had become yellow, lifeless and needed some serious TLC. My son is getting married in March and in FL. So a big concern was getting the color right, having time to cut and grow as well as be evaluated for a light Brazilian blowout due to humidity. So first visit, he got the color spot on- dark blond w just the right amount of fine low lights as well as a solid healthy cut/update! We decided to see how it does on my upcoming visit to Fl then decide on Brazilian. I love someone that is truly looking to establish a long term plan for my hair and not just a quick fix.
