Mark at Metro Acupuncture was amazing. I came in with a very injured back after a weightlifting incident and he SERIOUSLY helped me. It took a couple days to feel the cupping and acupuncture work but it made a tremendous difference. In a week i was almost back to normal, without Mark it probably would have been a month or more. This was my first time in going to an acupuncturist and Mark has been a great help in healing my tennis elbow and shoulder. He is very effective at providing education on his healing techniques and getting feedback on their effectiveness. He has also been flexible in trying something different if a technique is not effective. One example is with him suggesting using a foam roller and sending me videos on how to use it effectively. Overall, my experience was very positive and I would suggest trying Metro Acupuncture if you have pain and/or an injury that wont go away.

I was very apprehensive about acupuncture. Close friends highly recommended Mark. I have been truly amazed the difference it has made. No more bursitis pain, no more leg cramps and a significant reduction in the feelings of stress and anxiety. Early last year after a severe head cold, I started having chronic neck and upper back pain along with constant headaches. 26 weeks into my second pregnancy, my sciatica went from bearable to intolerable. The pain was so bad I could barely walk. Because of the pregnancy, my treatment options for the pain were extremely limited. My OB recommended Metro Acupuncture, where I met Dr Anna Kelly. Id never had acupuncture before and did not know what to expect. Dr Kelly was very attentive and committed to reducing my pain, which was a welcome response, given the OB and everything I read online basically said pregnant women just had to deal with sciatic pain. Ive been seeing Leigh McClelland of Metroacupunture since last September. I originally came in for a recurring illness that just didnt seem to go away in spite of repeated antibiotics. For years about every 6 months Id be in at the doctor needing anywhere from 1-3 rounds of antibiotics, and not understanding how I could prevent feeling so poorly.
