I signed up for the Weatherization program this year. I couldn’t be happier! Not only was my furnace replaced, but I am also getting a new refrigerator, blown in insulation, gas valve for my stove, proper venting for my hot water heater and even new light bulbs. Great quality and installation. From the office staff, to the inspector and installers were awesome!!!! Respectful, knowledgeable, kind and caring. What a wonderful program.

They help people in need, I for one am truly grateful for places such as these. They payed on my Electric bill one year... I went in asking only if I qualified for an air conditioner cause of health conditions. I left crying, I was so shocked and grateful for the extra help they offered on my bill. Cant thank them enough, God bless these wonderful people. I appreciate that they were there during the hard times. Thank you! 🙏💗

I was very pleased and happy but this service I got and was extra please when they told me that I was getting a air conditioner and two fans for my apartment now I can stay nice and cool and not be hot and sticky in my apartment I want to thank them

Like most experiences with service agencies, the workers are overloaded and lost all kindness for humanity. Rude receptionists are not something people in need should have to deal with. I gave a ride to a friend in need and if anyone was that rude to me without a counter between us, thered be issues.

Some man named Chris identified himself as being with community action and was calling to see about coming to fix my furnace which, mind you, they practically rebuilt last summer only to have it do this same thing that fall. Now it is doing it again and im sitting here with three layers of clothes most of the time waiting for them to get to me. I returned his call to be told that his voicemail was not set up and to try again later, which I did. I called a lady named Marlo and asked her to tell him I called back but his voicemail was not set up and couldnt get through. Today I get called by a woman named Chris and bitched at royally for calling someone named Dennis and told that I didnt call back soon enough and they were in another job and had 20 people ahead of me. That they would call me again. She told me that I didnt call right back basically calling me a liar. I have the call logs to prove when he called and when I called back. I also have the voicemail Chris left telling me what number to reach him at. Why did he give me somebody named Dennis phone number?Most of the things they fixed last summer are broken again including the furnace. I was also told someone was going to fix my basement steps at least twice last summer and none came. I asked about them when I called about the furnace the first time and was told I had to reapply next year to have them fixed. I sprained the my ankle when the top step fell out from under me but that meant nothing. This a Community Action service?.

Community Action helps all in need regardless of nationality or race , gender etc. They have helped me since my disability 12 yrs ago. Ty
