Dr. Hilburn is absolutely fantastic. He is what every doctor should be! Compassionate, truly cares about his patient and their problems no matter how big or small. He explains things very well to the patient, and takes his time to make sure all your questions are answered. He is a brilliant doctor. I recommend everyone to him. My mom went to go see him after seeing several other doctors and specialists and he was the only one who took her seriously and wanted to help her! 10/10 recommend!!

Dr. Mike Pardo is the absolute best! When I found a lump in my neck and other physicians dismissed it, he jumped on it and saved my life! My cancer was caught and treated early as a result of his care and quick action. He has also operated on both my kids when they were young. He is outstanding in every manner. Explains things thoroughly and takes time to ensure you feel comfortable and informed. The entire practice has been lovely to deal with. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Michael Pardo is my Go-To doctor for all things ENT related. I love this guy. He is AMAZING. What do I like about him? Umm let’s see…EVERYTHING! He’s just not your typical doctor. He puts things in words that the every day person can understand. And if there’s an issue, he doesn’t go from 0 right to 10. He checks off all the boxes in between to make sure that every alternative has been considered. He always remembers you, and not like he just read your chart before he walked in but rather like he sees you walking down the hall of the office and greets you. And if you catch him on special days you see him wearing his black chucks and a cool t shirt under his white doctor coat. They broke the mold after they made this guy.

Im very disappointed with the staff, I was discharged from the Fysacal Balance Center on a Tuesday but I called that Tues and made an appointment for a Dr. to see me for fluid behind the ear drum(I have Tues, so not working or clogged) total different issue than Balance. They canceled my Doctors appointment just because I was discharged from the Balance Center. I tried to be first patient of the morning, I try to be pleasant but this was their fault and they acted like I was being a pain and they couldnt be bothered. The staff has always been great in the past, I hope its just an off day.

This review is for the staff of Annapolis ENT, not my Doctor (who has his own set of reviews). Staff is friendly, and efficient. While not perfect, I cant complain about the 5 or so visits I have been there for. Seems a bit understaffed at times but I have had no billing problems or appointment problems.

Did not receive any specialize care different than primary care could’ve offered. And then the next appointment was a month away. After 6 months of ear pain and pressure offered the same remedies; steroids and decongestants, as my PCP. I think the doctor already assumed the issue before actually examining me. This is of course all speculation I will be moving to the next ENT specialist. I didn’t listen to the reviews and should have.

I have been going to Annapolis ENT for more than 2 years now and I see Dr. Gregory Heacock. I choose this practice based on recommendations from my friends. I have nothing but positive experience to share. Staff is very friendly and pays attention to details, for example, they always check for available credit on my account before charging a copay. Dr. Heacock performed surgery on me with excellent results and came up with an effective medication plan to keep my sinus health in good shape without surgical intervention going forward. His manners are impeccable and he can clearly explain the root causes of health issues and how he plans to resolve them. You can tell he really cares about patients and working in their best interest. I plan to continue seeing Dr. Heacock every year and can recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a world-class ENT/surgeon.

**BUYER BEWARE**Provider will mislead by omission. I just got off the phone with the billing department and I want everyone to know up-front, what to expect. I had a deviated septum fixed and I was not informed prior to the surgery that after the surgery, there would be likely multiple visits required with the surgeon to clean the nose and remove splints that would COST NEARLY AS MUCH AS THE SURGERY FOR EVERY VISIT!I hope you have absolutely wonderful insurance otherwise youll be paying $$THOUSANDS$$ and everyone should know this up-front.

Very upset about being sent a bill when I was told my insurance was accepted. They are unethical and perform procedures without discussing the costs while also having told you numerous times that they accept your insurance and then bill you later for obscene amounts. They will try to tell you that you signed a form at intake that tells you a procedure wont be covered but then takes the form back with them so that when you are in the room you have NO IDEA which procedure youre about to receive thats going to cost you an arm and a leg. The most UNETHICAL medical company Ive ever been associated with.

Dr. Juan Pardo never showed up for our scheduled appointment. I waited 20 minutes and left. Staff people were embarrassed and apologized. Nobody seemed surprised that Dr. Pardo doesnt know how to manage his time. I call it rude. My parents called it respect for people. Id stay away from ENT Associates until they get their act together--if they ever get past the arrogance. I feel bad for the staff. Another physician recommended Canary Hearing in Annapolis. Office staff were very nice and welcoming. I saw doctor Som for 2nd time in a couple years. My 1st encounter with him was very brief, He saw me for a few minutes and sent me on my way saying everything was fine. Fast forward a year and my symptoms are worse, so I returned per my primary doctor recommendation. His assessment was the complete opposite from my primary doctors and again he said everything is fine. The problem is I do not feel fine, I actually feel worse. I asked him what his recommendations were and he told me I needed to see in a neurologist. Its hard for me to believe that I have no ENT issues since he only saw me for less than 5 minutes. I feel like Im just being shoved around to multiple doctors with no answers. He was nice and answered my questions but I dont feel like he does a thorough physical assessment or a proper history.

Both of my children see Matt Hilburn and weve had nothing but positive experiences with their surgeries, hearing tests and follow-up visits. He takes the time to educate and answer questions and weve never felt rushed. Id recommend him in a heartbeat. The waiting room waits can be a little long, but I think theyve improved that with their new check-in systems (at least that was our most recent experience).

Dr som saw my son for a total of 1 minute. He only felt in his mouth and never looked in it. He was still young enough to correct a tongue tie if found but instead chose to leave it at a quick sweep and leave. After getting a second opinion from a surgeon at children’s, my son has a posterior tongue tie. All of the weight gain problems, the countless appointments, the sore blistered bleeding breasts from nursing finally have an answer that was his actual specialty. I feel incredibly angry and let down. Taking the time to find this could have saved so much pain and struggle. Learn from this. Be better.

My appointment for my baby boy with the audiology department was wonderful. They completed his test quickly and the staff were competent. The audiologist told me his test came back with no problems.I was the shuffled to Dr. Overstreet during an international pandemic with a young baby, only for her to market her services to me even though the test cane back with no issues, and the audiologist explained that to me. When I asked Dr. Overstreet for the reason I needed to see her, she said it was to “introduce herself” in case we ever need an ENT doctor. I was charged $250 for that marketing. She performed no actual service. This place is a total scam. Do not bring your children here and give them business. They will overcharge you. They are now withholding money from my HSA for that service-less visit.

I arrived early as requested to fill out paperwork. The staff was polite, alert, and efficient. I turned the questionaire back in, and in short order was called back to see the doctor, who was Dr. Johnson. He came as soon as the nurse had finished the preliminaries, and he wasted no time addressing the problems Ive been having. It was not a long visit, but I went prepared to provide useful information so that he could get a full picture of my issues. It was clear that as brief as the visit was, the Dr. listened to the information I provided because he gave clear feedback about the pertinent facts I shared with him. Based on what I experienced, I believe that my visit was handled appropriately. Most certainly I was treated with kindness and respect at every point along the way, so, as first impressions go, this one was a good one all the way around.

The doctors themselves are good, but the administrative side is lacking. I arrived for an appointment that I had received a confirmation email for, and it has been mysteriously cancelled and they had no idea why. This happened to another patients as well, the same day. They were apologetic and were able to squeeze me in with someone else, but it was a hassle and we didnt get our post-op with the actual doctor who did the surgery because of it. Additionally, theres no option to bay pills online. When you call to pay the bill, you often get a busy signal. Wait times are often quite long in the waiting room. This office would be top notch if some admin things were tweaked!

Ive had a good experience at the office here so far, but the phone system is terrible! Every time Ive tried to call Ive had to wait at least 20 minutes on hold listening to the phone ring over and over again. My hope is that someone in this office reads these reviews because there is literally no other way to contact them than the phone number (no email, no website feedback). Ive also called in the morning when they were supposed to be open, and the line had a recorded message saying they were closed - that message was up until 30 minutes after their opening time. My son has an upcoming ear tube surgery and Im not able to even contact the doctor performing it because no one answers the phone. I like the doctor, nurses, and receptionists weve seen, but this service experience is making me question the professionalism of this practice.

What an AMAZING practice. First time there. They were swamped at the front desk but every receptionist was sweet, composed and worked at a very fast pace. Extremely organized and professional. Nurse that brought we back (after a very modest wait) was all smiles and explained everything. Dr. Joydeep Som gave me new faith in the medical community! He listened to everything and respected previous issues I had with prescriptions. Very thorough and found an issue I didnt even know existed. Treatment plan discussed while still coming up with an alternative plan instead of throwing out pills. Absolutely amazing. Thank you all. Will definitely recommend to anyone!

Dr. Pardo saw my 5 year old son 3 or 4 times over the span of a few months before deciding that he needed tubes. I loved the fact that he didn’t jump to tubes right away, and alternatively, he didn’t dismiss my son after only one visit. He made an INFORMED decision that my son needed tubes. By doing this, he quickly gained my trust. I felt very informed with all of the documentation sent home on getting my son ready for surgery, what to expect after surgery, and all of the do’s and don’ts. On the day of the surgery I was very nervous. I can’t stress enough how amazing the staff at Annapolis ENT was. The nurses were AMAZING. I wish I could think of a stronger word for how great they were. My son was never nervous. They had him laughing and excited for surgery. Then Dr. Pardo and the anesthesiologist came in together to give us a final rundown of what to expect and answer any final questions we had. I was able to go back with my son while the anesthesiologist administered the gas. He was so great. He removed the mask to let me give my son a kiss before I had to leave the room. I walked out of the room crying (I’m an emotional person when it comes to my kids) , and a nurse, who I hadn’t even met yet, walked me out reassuring me that everything would be fine. After surgery, they brought my husband and I back to my son, who was laying on a nurse while she gave him a popsicle and lots of love. We sat in the room with our son while another nurse sat with us and gave us more info on what to expect, when to give medicine, a rundown on the prescriptions, etc. I wish I could give more stars. I highly recommend Dr. Pardo and his staff. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you all for making our experience so wonderful.

Be prepared to wait and be billed for surgical procedures (meaning more co-pays) each time the doctor simply looks into your nose! Biggest rip-offs ever. I visited for a nose bleed and was consistently billed $150 co-pays for a surgical procedure because they claimed anytime a foreign instrument is inserted into a body part, the insurance allows them to bill as such. A call to BC/BS revealed they pay what the Dr. bills and do not question procedures. The care from Annapolis ENT was not acceptable as I still had to have surgery for a nose bleed and then Dr Pardoe still wanted to bill me for more unnecessary office (aka surgical) visits. And he never checked my ears and sinuses properly as he claimed--I still had hearing and sinus problems. Note: one visit I waited over 2 hours and the doctor did not care to leave me or other patients waiting.A new visit to Dr. Pickens in DC, revealed ear wax on my ear drums which blocked my hearing (something Pardoe missed). And Dr. Pickens performed hearing and allergy testing and diagnosed me without allergies, only have dry sinus passages which could have caused the nose bleeds. Dr Pickens spent a lot of time talking to me and going over my medical history as well as thoroughly checking my nose and throat. Besides Dr. Pickens being amazing, she only billed me for an office visit $40.00!I wish the Maryland medical bureau would investigate this practice for overcharging people!

Nice doctors. Nice staff. Clean facility. I cannot stand their scheduling system however. You must call in order to schedule an appointment or make a change to it. There is no email or online way of doing so. The hold message is awful. It just rings and repeats the same message of a high call volume every 30 seconds. It doesnt give you a call back option nor a wait time reference. They are way behind the curve on the technology when it comes to customer service.

Ive been bringing my son here every so often. He has multiple disabilities, including Autism. The wait time here is not very good. The doctors are pretty good though. They have a policy if you dont come in 15 mins before the appointment they may cancel it. I never show up 15 mins early for appointments because for one thing, what doctors office actually takes you back at your appointment time, and secondly, my son has Autism and if he is in a rotten mood all hell will break lose if he ends up having to wait too long at the doctors office. Anyways, I think this arrive 15 mins before appointment is an excuse for the front desk staff to have enough time to check people in. Perhaps they are short staffed and cant keep up but it shouldnt be taken out on the customer.

I would offer a ZERO if we could. This is our feelings because of our experience at this office. Both appointments we showed up on time, paid copay then waited for doctor. The secretaries forgot we were sitting there directly in front of them. One didnt know what the other was doing. We were treated horribly. The office staff began working whispering and pointing about and at us they said, “IF THEY WANT TO SHOW UP LATE THEN LET THEM WAIT FOR THE DOCTOR THE WAY THEY MADE OUR OFFICE WAIT!” (But we were there). We told front desk that we came in before appointment time, paid copay, filled out info and they told us very angerly to sit down and wait till they address us.The front desk staff now drags doctor over telling the doctor that we were late (THOUGH IT WAS THE OFFICE STAFFS MISTAKE) then stating to the doctors that we’re now listening into their conversations. All of this did not have to happen their staff is lacking in maturity and so much more. All this was to cover up the mistake that the front desk staff had made. The front desk was trying to validate their poor behavior.I left the office in tears because of how the female doctor now was treating us as parents because of some IMMATURE ANIMALS that work up front. We are parents with a tiny one with major health concerns. WHY would you do this and sadly the doctor was useless she spent more time out of the room and reprimanding us for overhearing her staff and not to be late again but we were there 45 min before appointment time even though we finally were allowed to speak trying to inform the doctor that the ipad pperwork must have a time on it to show when we showed up but she refused to hear and we wasted a copay. We attempted to resolve the issue kindly with the head doctor but once we tried to speak he hung up the phone on us.What a shame and for what. Amazing how one persons bad attitude, lack of maturity, can change the lives of so many. If the staff just said oops they made a mistake and just got us into the office this wouldnt have been a big deal and my little one wouldnt have been stressed out by both the front desks aggressive behavior and the doctors temper tantrum with us in the back. My little one cried when he thought we were returning there. Never again would we return there.

Loved Dr. Som, but the Surgery Center took almost a year to bill me for procedure I had in July of 2017! It is unbelievable that the Medical office across the hall billed me correctly for all my co-pays for surgery, and all 4 follow up office visits. I was able to submit to my FSA for reimbursement with no problem! The surgery center sent me a bill in May of 2018 for my July 2017 procedure, and did not correctly estimate my part of the payment. So no way to send in to FSA as it is too late and out of calendar year. No apology for such a poor experience. I paid, but one star and a really poor, poor experience!

Dr. Overstreet saw my son when he was 7 weeks old for a tongue tie consult. Instead of admitting that she has NO knowledge of ties, she said he didnt have one because he was gaining weight. She was the second person to fail my son (the first being a pediatrician). He ended up with issues gaining weight, growing, learning--developnentally delayed at 9 months old, eating, speaking, and nursing. I went to this practice because of my insurance and had to wait to see a better doctor after because of insurance. The pediatric dentist we saw (Dr. Marcus, who is amazing) saved my son. Within a week of his tongue tie revision at 18 months old, he was eating without choking, saying words, and able to nurse without causing me pain. Within a little over a month (thanks to also getting molars and canines at the same time), he was finally gaining weight. 7 months post revision he is on track/ahead of schedule with his development. He has jumped from 5th percentile for weight (he started at 50th) to almost 20th percentile now.TL;DR: dont see overstreet for tongue tie ever. I also wouldnt trust her for any services since she cant admit when she doesnt know something. How could you ever trust her?!
