Would give zero stars if i could. Ive been going here for about a year now and have have issues every step of the way. Most recently, they changed my doctor WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME which sent my bill up from $130 to $201. This should be a criminal action. Its not my fault i changed doctors but I’m certainly suffering the consequences.Billing staff is incompetent and will guaranteed mess up your bill or overcharge you. I setup a biweekly payment plan and they decided to charge me every single week causing me to overdraft my bank account. They didn’t care and charged me again the next week.Office will never call you back for a follow up call and are pretty miserable people in general.I hope this review helps others avoid this place at all cost. Mental health is nothing to joke about but these folks really couldn’t care less.

They sent me to collections after a month for 10.00. It is tough times for every one right now. It is crazy. I would give zero stars if I could. It took them Four months to give me paper work for me and my son. Says they will call back and dont. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!!!!

I am now being harassed to pay a $130 bill after I was fired from my job because I needed Dr. Bryant and her staff to fill out my FMLA paperwork but it took them over a month or even longer. I lost my insurance because of it. The $130 is for a 5 min follow up appointment on how my medication was doing. After I explained to the Dr. that I was fired I received nothing more from them. I stopped all the medication because it was not helping. The staff was working from home due to COVID but I dont think they were working at all.

ZERO STAR RATING. Run from this place! The providers are good, but the management is horrible. They are disorganized and will violate all of your HIPAA privacy. They will double dip from your upfront payment and the reimbursement from your insurance company and lie about it. They are more than happy to release your personal information to other people who are not listed on your HIPAA privacy paperwork and make your life a living hell. I hope that this review helps potential patients in making an informed decision before many more years of pain and additional therapy for the wrongs that they have done.

Wish I could give zero stars, but want to share our experience. My 18-yr old finally got the courage to visit Oasis for help for suspected depression. Upon arrival, he was handed a questionnaire to fill out and dismissed. THREE WEEKS later he received the assessment in an email. I agree with other reviewers: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A CRISIS CENTER! So much wrong here: 1) What quality of medical training would advocate sending a medical diagnosis of severe depression in an email to a young adult rather than in a phone call, or better yet, provide the diagnosis while still in the facility. 2) The website states patients are usually seen within 72 hours. This is simply not true. Patients are potentially handed a questionnaire within 72 hours but any appointment will be at least 3+ weeks out. As a mom, I can only suggest looking elsewhere for mental health treatment.

I was charged $100 dollars for having to cancel my appointment. At the time I was extremely sick and heavily suicidal. I explained this to Oasis, but my health and mental state did not matter. If you miss (or from the looks of these other comments if they miss) for any reason you can expect to pay. I thought a center for MENTAL HEALTH would have been a bit more accommodating and understanding. Thanks and God bless

Hello Taylor- I read your frustration about being charged a missed appt. fee, and I understand. I am so sorry you did not feel your health mattered when you were in touch with us. That is certainly not the feeling we ever want someone to experience at Oasis. We encourage anyone that is not satisfied with their experience to contact us directly to address their concern. Please feel free to contact an administrator at Oasis if there is anything we can do to make this better for you. I am hoping you are feeling much better at this time, and that you are in good health.

This facility is the best of the best! I looked at reviews before booking my first appointment and it didn’t look great. I still booked because they could see me quickly. Anyway, they are awesome, from the ladies working at the front desk, the lady that give you the prescription, or the physician (in my case Christy). They are REALLY here to help you, whatever situation or state of mind that you are in. Give it a shot:)

I cringed at even giving this place 1 star. DO NOT GO HERE!! I wish we wouldve read the reviews for this place before this nightmare began. They have now billed us for 5 appointments (in less than 2 months) that were missed that we NEVER MADE. The only one we missed was the one that THEY cancelled because the provider had a family emergency, and they tried to charge us $130 for missing it?? We have also had appointments that we actually DID schedule and showed up only for the lady at the desk to rudely tell us we werent scheduled even though we had the voicemail confirming the appointment. Today we received a bill for $561 for these made up appointments that we never scheduled. After reading reviews for this place, this is apparently what they do to all of their patients. I dont know how this place is still in business. Its disgusting that anyone would steal from their patients like this. Please save yourself the headache and hundreds of dollars for appointments that never existed and go somewhere with honest providers.

If I could give no stars, I would. I’ve been to one appointment and I’ll never be going back. I was forgotten about in the patient waiting room. My therapist had an issue shakeing my hand. (Rude and odd). During our appointment I almost asked if she was qualified or had a degree.Serious waste of time. Stay awayPrevious google reviews state billing issues. I’m waiting for that next.

My hat is off to Dr. Johnson, and the entire evening staff; my husband is presently on Lithium 300 mg 2x/day and feeling much better, although now he is looking for another provider of Lithium in rural East Texas. I would highly recommend this Facility and its staff. My husband was a patient of Dr. Johnson in early February 2015. Prior to coming to Oasis, he was seeing two corrupt doctors in Springfield, VA who diagnosed him as Manic Depressant/Bi-Polar and the MEDS were driving the hubby up the walls. He was on the verge of loosing his Clearance.

Dr. Johnson was so rude. He rushed me through my appointment even though it was scheduled for an hour. He said I have other patients he told me You like to talk alot and that is not what I am here for. Last time I checked that is exactly what his job is, to listen to people and prescribe what is needed....STAY AWAY! I am not going back. It was a waste of my time. Highly unprofessional.

One star is reeeeeally pushing it.My psych was fantastic and saved my life-but the office is horrible, terrible with contact, this is a facility that is temporary care where you are seen for 6 visits and then discharged. After that there is a time period where you are not able to return until that time is up. I called multiple times within the past 3-4 months to just see if my time was up. They said they would call me back (didn’t, each time and still haven’t heard back from them after the 6th or 7th call) and I don’t see how that would be hard information to find. I work in healthcare in clinical and administrative duties, they are honestly just very unhelpful. You aren’t treated well at all by the front, the women in billing that finish your visit and schedule your next appointment were always very pleasant and professional! Prior to discharge-I called to ask for a verbal “list” of which meds I’m on and dose (I had just started my new meds and I wanted to provide my physician with my current medication) the woman replied “you really don’t know what medication you’re on? why don’t you just call your pharmacy why you calling us“ with a huge attitude, asking for my meds was like prying teeth. ((This has nothing at all to do with the mental health providers, just the administrative side of the practice!))

I had a very positive experience beginning with the front office staff to Christy Callahan, CRNP. Before going to Oasis my primary care doctor prescribed an antidepressant which was causing severe side effects making my anxiety and depression worst. Feeling desperate my therapist referred me to Oasis. Called the office on Thursday in tears and they were able to get me in the next day. I saw Christy who was caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. She took me off my doctors medication and prescribed a different antidepressant that caused no side effects and started taking effect within a few days. I would definitely recommend Oasis.

I left tonight feeling worse then before I came. Psychiatrist was HORRIBLE. He lectured me on how I should not take opioids at which is strange because I DONT TAKE OPIODS and that wasn’t the reason for my visit. He was stuck on the topic and kept bringing it up several times telling me no one should ever take controllled substances. Again I did not ask his for any controlled sunstances and I believe any provider who makes a blanket statement like this instead of addressing the patient as an individual should not be in practice. I’m in crisis trying to stabize my life after suffering severe anxiety that is currently keeping me out of work. He was rude and said to me “I don’t understand why you are here seeing me and “why are you here, who told you to schedule an appointment with me.?” Very unwelcoming, it was a stressful interrogation and when I left in tears after he took my blood pressure and it was extremely elevated. He handed me 2prescriptions but I don’t feel good about our interaction so I’m not going to fill them. THIS IS A CRISIS CENTER, RIGHT? Empathy should be a requirement for employment of your providers. He asked standard questions about whether I wanted to harm myself or others which I would expect, but after I answered “no” he kept berating me and made me feel very uncomfortable. He asked if I owned a gun, if my husband owned a gun or if either of us were planing on buying a gun. Then he asked if I has a specific plan as to how I wanted to kill myself AFTER I TOLD HIM I DID NOT WANT TO HARM MYSELF OR OTHERS. as I said the entire interaction was very uncomfortable and I left the office in tears feeling more anxiety and overwhelmed because this man did not have my best interest at heart. He should chose another career as phychiatry is not for him. He did more damage than good.

Horrible, spend the extra time to find a properly staffed, knowledgeable and helpful facility to get your needs met. I would never recommend this facility. Mr. Charles a nurse practioner was very short, rude, and apparently changed my prescriptions without notifying me (keeping in mind he made an error when writing it) and instead of admitting a mistake the staff tried to cover for him, including the program supervisor. For a mental health facility, they have done nothing but make things harder, very asinine. I will be calling the better business bureau and filing a claint with DHMH.DO NOT GO HERE!

This is a terrible organization. They get ahead with your hard earned money by charging outrageous fees and by debiting your card without knowledge or authorization. Please save yourself the aggravation and do not make an appointment here. Asking for your credit card info up front should have been a huge red flag. This rinky-dink establishment actually made my mental health worse. They actually hung up on me when I tried to discuss their illegal actions. They should change the name to Purgatory: The Center for Pain and Suffering

DO NOT GO HERE. I was mislead by staff and promised a type of therapy they dont even offer. This place is ridiculously terrible. I made my appt 2 weeks in advance and when I came in for my appt 15 min early, which was requested, filled out my paper work and whatnot, my appt was at 11am. I was asked to wait in the patient waiting area, so I did. at 1140 I asked the front desk personwhat was taking so long and how much longer they thought it would be, keep in mind I was going in to help cope with being easily angered, she told me to go back and wait in the room and she would check. She came in the room 10 minutes later, and said I apologize the therapist never showed up and we thought you were in the room with him....doesnt make much sense. This was AFTER I paid the $225 appt fee. When I was told the therapist just didnt show up, I asked to talk to the office manager who was apparently not in. They want to charge you a fee if you miss an appt, but do nothing if they miss yours. And how they didnt realize the therapist wasnt there is beyond me. This place is poorly managed. When they called to see if i wanted to reschedule I then again asked to speak to the manager and they were again not in. They were unwilling to help me resolve the issue of the therapist not showing up, and offered no reconciliation for what happened. Just said we can refund you and reschedule. For a place that is supposed to be dealing with mental health issues this is just asinine. I will not be returning
